Recently firefox for android mobile stopped allowing me to take screenshots. I get the error msg in the subject line when pressing the volume down and screen sleep/wake button. Is there a setting I can change?

Why, when I click on a URL while using Firefox on my Android phone, is it always invoked in the address field via google.com? I get that Android is Google, but does anyone know a way to disable this totally unnecessary, and privacy-destroying, functionality?

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra running latest Android update and latest Firefox update. I set Firefox as my default browser. I have un-installed all updates for Samsung Internet and removed all permissions for it. Disabling it is greyed out. Some apps that I use have links to websites. Too frequently, when I go to one of those links, the intro screen for Samsung Internet opens. Then, when I look at the settings in Firefox it is no longer set as the default. Then I set Firefox to default and go to my phone settings to see that Firefox is selected as the default. If I open the previously mentioned app and choose the web link, Firefox will open. But somewhere along the way, the default changes back to Samsung Internet and it's a vicious circle. I have posted in a Samsung forum but haven't gotten a reply that solved the problem. Please help. Greetings FF Community, New Samsung Galaxy S9 Ultra tablet running FF ver 127.02 on Android 14. Have no option to customize toolbar or even add the File Menu to the top of Firefox as other resources in Firefox indicate. Using a Finite bluetooth keyboard, ALT key does nothing, using bluetooth mouse right click on empty space in address bar - no context menu appears, enabled in mouse settings. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Screen shots below of laptop and S9 Ultra. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Hi, I've just changed my phone & PC. on my phone (Realme 13pro+ on Android 14) Dark mode isn't working on most websites. I have glaucoma so it's very difficult for me to endure white backgrounds. I've checked on my old phone & the same sites are dark as they should be. I've tried 'Dark' & 'Follow system dettings" but neither work. on my new laptop, Dark mode works, but is preceded by a horrible flash of full brightness before it goes dark, which is really bad for my eyes!

I've been using firefox for 20 years and never experienced problems with webpage display until I started using it on my new phone samsung s23 ultra.

More often some webpages will not size correctly with my screen and is cut off so I have to switch to chrome.
