Hi everyone,

I set up my Firefox for Android to delete cookies and cache when I click on "Close".

I was happy with it but I realized several months ago than websites as leboncoin.fr, amazon.fr, decathlon.fr (yes i'm french), didn't keep me loged in but remember what I had looked for and where I was. This problem is permanent.

I don't have this problem with Firefox for Windows.

So it seems something is nor cleared from the app when I close it.

Thank you very much for your help !

Hi Can someone please tell me what happens if I have third-party cookies blocked by default, but I click 'accept all'? Will that override the default and allow the site to store the cookies on my device, or will Firefox continue to block the third-party cookies? I ask because some sites (Galvanize, for example) won't allow you to see the page without clicking the 'accept' button, but I don't want the big tech boys spying on me! Thanks for your help.

The sites I log into using firefox, even if I don't log out, it automatically logs out after a few days ie cookies are cleared. .clearing the app data of firefox did not fix the bug.hope mozilla will help to fix the bug.

Cookies not sent upon Firefox launch, but after launch, they are present and sent

Hello,

It seems that Firefox for Android does not send a domain's cookie(s) when launching the browser from a shortcut on the home screen. From the next request on, now having an open Firefox tab, the cookie(s) are sent and valid and all is well.

Firefox desktop does not suffer from this issue; when fully closed and then reopened, the domain's cookie(s) are sent from the first request on.

I have dug into the issue using remote debugging. On my desktop system, I host a PHP web application having stepped debugging enabled. I can see that upon the first request from the Android device, $_COOKIE is an empty array. Upon every next request, it is properly populated with the cookies I require for the app to work.

Is this normal behavior? Or should the cookie have a special attribute (besides its expiry datetime) set, to be sent from the first request on?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards, FWieP
