Okay, I know I have an old version (2.6.35.7...), but really, if the native Android browser was any better I would not even waste time with Firefox. On a good day it is extremely slow and crashes often. On a bad day it takes down the entire OS.
Is there any hope? I _really_ like the features.....

An html5-Javascript AR app on my Galaxy S3 recently started spuriously reporting an orientation change when I click on a data entry field. window.matchMedia("(orientation: portrait)").addListener(setOrientationValue) reports a change to landscape mode and about 1 1/4 second later it goes back to (correct) portrait mode. I'm currently working around this bug by checking accelerationIncludingGravity, which gives the actual orientation.

I have version Firefox 38.0.5 on my computer and the current version of Firefox on my phone. So far, I have used Firefox Sync to get my tabs opened on my computer through the History option, no problem there.. however, I am having trouble getting the Sync Tab option to come up on my Android device. The phone currently has the General and Private tab options only. I would like to know if this is an easy fix or a compatibility issue with my phone.

I have the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.5 tablet and wanted to add a translator to Firefox. I have version 38.0.5 and every translate addon I tried said it was not compatible with my version of Firefox, which is extremely frustrating. Any ideas how I can get a translator addon for my tablet to work?

I downloaded the Firefox app for my tablet - Samsung Tab2 10.1 yesterday. At first it was great but when I tried to sign in to a dropbox account it crashed immediately and it has continued to do this. Subsequently it crashed when I put a search item in the address line but worked if it was a proper address. I have cleared the history but it made no difference. I have not yet uninstalled and re-installed Firefox. Can you help please
