Hi, this is an idea: To be able to sort the order of tabs.

Often I'll be browsing for something one day, then move on to something else and continue browsing/researching the first thing again later or the next day. Suddenly I have lots of tabs on differrent subjects open and no way to organize the order of them, with using bookmarks/collections, which would be timeconsuming. Being able to reordering them would be really helpful, and also make the „swipe between tabs“ a lot more useful, without having to scroll back and forth through tabs within different subjects.

And especially on my tablet, where I have lots of tabs open when researching this would be great. :)

Whenever i search something on firefox it sometimes opens up a new tab or if i searched something up before it it will bring me to the previous search. This also happens when i open a link ill click on the link and it will open a brand new tab with the other tab still being there and i can't view the tab at all whenever i try to reinstall firefox the problem is still there, same with when i mess with settings. Ig someone could i help i would appreciate it!

Keep seeing a bug where tabs that were kept open but are not active, upon reopening do a full reload, and then take a long time to load often failing to load at all after a timeout.

Is there a way to change the order of one's open tabs in Firefox Android?

I myself at least did not discover some yet.

Tab reordering is important to many users. About two years ago, Chrome added this feature, but Firefox removed it. Just recently I found that TAB re-arranging works again in the Night build on Android. When approximately we can when expect this feature in the Release?

When I open firefox on my laptop, it does exactly what I want it to do, and displays a blank tab. No pockets, no bookmarks, no past tabs, nothing. Just a tab, and a blank background. In order for this to work, I had to change multiple settings and set [browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash] in about:config to "false."

Firefox on my mobile devices is missing most of these settings, and of course, mobile Firefox does not have about:config (a fact which I find incredibly frustrating). The only setting I have found that stops tabs from reopening in a new session is dot menu > settings > general > tabs which offers me these choices:

o Never x After one day o After one week o After one month

Given that I use Firefox multiple times a day, even selecting the shortest possible setting means that my tabs will always reopen when I start a new session. I do not want tabs restoring! If I want to restore a session, I will use "restore previous session." I don't need the app doing it for me, unless I ask. How can I turn off this incredibly irritating feature?

I desperately need that tab to be recovered or the ability for me to undo the closing and erasing of all my tabs and history for me so I can continue with my application and essay that I was very close to finishing. thank you, I would appreciate it so much if there can be a way for me to retrieve that data.

When I go to use Firefox on my Android LG G7 Verizon I always been able to share from the cell phone to my home PC say a tab that I want to read later lately I noticed that my laptop is showing up my PC is showing up but also my PC is showing up twice I have a screenshot I don't know if I can uploaded. The first pink circle (Damon)is my home PC. I don't know why there's 2? that's my question the other one is my laptop Pegasus I recently had a bsod and was unable to recover from it had to reinstall maybe that's why but I can't figure out how to get rid of it. I use Firefox on all three of my devices laptop PC and Android and sync all three of them together certain settings

I am unable to open multiple Firefox windows for Android when in split screen sometimes I require to look at multiple tabs at the same time and I use split screen with multiple Chrome windows to look at both simultaneously. But the same feature does not seem to be available for firefox.

Hello, How is it possible to run different instances of Firefox on Windows and on Android? I would like to have for the same user e.g., Firefox_1 with one set of open tabs and Firefox_2 with a different set of open tabs. Is this possible, and if so, how to do it on Windows and how on Android? Or, is there another way of selecting in Firefox between two (or more) windows with different sets of open tabs? I'd love to have a feature where I can choose to open all my synced tabs on a new device at once instead of having it as a list under synced, as it would look on the original device I have them opened on. Maybe have that option to open all tabs under synced.

I'll understand if this is a longshot. However, I need to ask.

I have tried the new user interface that Mozilla put out about two years ago. I tried it when it first updated and I tried it again last year to be sure. And I'm sorry, but I hate it. I hate it so much. It's unwieldy, I don't like the way the tabs are presented, I don't like how New Tab works and most of all I hate that my bookmarks aren't the first thing I see when I open a new tab. I've been using I think Firefox 69 or 79 ever since.

But using an out of date browser obviously has issues. Pictures aren't loading, some webpages aren't loading, including ones I need for school, and recently my adblock stopped being able to block everything.

Which brings me to my question. Is there some way I can update Firefox to the new browser without using the new UI? An add-on, a setting I can change? If it's complicated, I can do it with a decent step by step. Even if you can help me find the right phrase to google to get a how to would be great.

I rested my phone and reinstalled firefox logged in and tried to get my tabs back since i had sync previously activated but now i can't find how to get my 60 tabs back. Nothing is in the History to find.

When I open a link within another app, like Facebook or Discord, it usually opens a version of Firefox inside that app, without all the full features. And that's fine, because usually I just want to read whatever it is quickly, and move on. However, I've noticed that if I change apps or let the screen time out when I have one of these links open, the screen will be black or blank when I open it again. I have to go back and click the link again to make it load. Refreshing doesn't work, and if I go to the menu and click "Open in Firefox" after this happens, that tab will never load. I have to copy the URL and open a new tab to load it.

Obviously, I can get around this by choosing the "Open in Firefox" option as soon as I load the page in the first place, but I don't really want to have to open a new tab in my browser every time I want to read a news article on FB or open a meme someone sent me. Overall, I really love Firefox, but this is a problem I didn't have with Chrome, and I'm not seeing anything in the settings to change it. Is this a common issue, and can it be fixed?
