Navigation bar in latest nightly (130.0a1) is split into two toolbars, this cannot be customized.

I updated and now "Settings" & "Quit" aren't in the ︙menu. They're hidden and I have to swipe up a second time to see them. This interferes with my workflow, as I use "Quit" dozens of times a day and it used to be effortlessly accessible via a single finger flick.

How do disable this hiding of "Setting" and "Quit"? Is there an about:config option I can toggle?

I am using Iceraven-2.23.1 (Build #2016045162), which is based on Firefox for Android and allows all users to use about:config

(If there is no about:config to disable it, let me know the last version before this was changed, and I'll use that instead.)

merry christmas all ... in bookmarks why can't you organise them the way you want to ie: move them up or down in the order you want them... I can't find a way of doing it. and secondly on the homepage in the image I have uploaded why is there so much wasted space? and you can only have 2 rows of shortcuts. I am using the app on my phone and tablet which are both samsung galaxy phone is A34 5G and the tablet A8 thank you very much

Home screen might be considered a specialized bookmark I suppose but the categories don't directly apply above. Browsers for decades have allowed a custom Url to be entered or "use current page" as home screen. I can find no option under firefox settings for Android enter it. What's the trick?

I picked last tab but that isn't the same as a fixed URL such as my bank website or Facebook page I would always want to see first.

Thankfully not too often are web site pages that are grossly out-of-format for my Android phone. Mostly everything is tiny. Yes, I can pinch expand or zoom in but then side back and forth scrolling is required to navigate and absorb the page. Not the optimum result. Very annoying.

I have font adjustments but those result in a similar and distroted page.

One web site option when available was a toggle for windows/cell phone that worked pretty good but it's not always provided. That implies the web site design is the formatting adjustment function.

Is the resultant cell phone display formatting a function of the visited web site, browser, phone device, etc or some combination of those entities settings?

Hi there, Firefox on Android is unable to show a progress on files that is currently being downloaded. It does, show notification, and I can pause and cancel it from there, but the details are unknown, the progress bar doesn't tell how much bytes has been downloaded and when i press pause and resume, the state is horribly unknown, the progress becomes 0%, etc. What I want is that Downloads menu in three-dots menu must show this too, not only the files that has been downloaded.

Greetings FF Community, New Samsung Galaxy S9 Ultra tablet running FF ver 127.02 on Android 14. Have no option to customize toolbar or even add the File Menu to the top of Firefox as other resources in Firefox indicate. Using a Finite bluetooth keyboard, ALT key does nothing, using bluetooth mouse right click on empty space in address bar - no context menu appears, enabled in mouse settings. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Screen shots below of laptop and S9 Ultra. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I need to reach the about:config menu but firefox takes me to a search menu on the engine I chose (duckduckgo). It provides lots of nice info but not how to reach this feature.

I am using Chrome OS so possibly that is the issue.

By default, Firefox only downloads directly to the internal storage, and not the micro SD card I installed. Its become tedious to manually move everything to save phone space every time I download anything.

All the past forums said to use about:config, but I understand the newer Firefox removed that function as it would break the app due to some major internal changes.

Please add the function to set a download path for Firefox to send my files to, including to my SD card.

Why does Firefox automatically save tabs? It is annoying to have to delete them every day... I want the option to NEVER save the tab and close them all when exiting

There are three problems, all related, that are frustrating me with Firefox on Android. I have a Samsung Galaxy 24+. I am trying to get Firefox to use a local HTML file that are my bookmarks, but I am stymied at every turn:

1) when I click on the local, Galaxy, HTML file, I get the standard "Open with" pop up, but they only list: Chrome, HTML View, Android's Internet browser, and Samsung Print Services. Why doesn't Firefox show up there? This is important to me. Is Firefox failing to register its browser properly in Galaxy products?

2) The next thing I try to do is to sync bookmarks so that I can use my hundreds of bookmarks (rather than adding them into Firefox one at a time). So, I click on the famous three vertical dots and there is no "Sync" function in that menu, see attached. So I cannot import my bookmarks from my PC's bookmarks.

3) Thirdly, I try to type into the URL field what Chrome uses to access local files, which is for example: "content://media/external/file/1000005061" but Firefox android does not recognize that. When I change it to "file://media/external/file/1000005061" that does not work either.

I am writing to request assistance with an issue I am encountering on the latest version of the Firefox browser for Android. My goal is to open specified pages in the same tab using Intent from a third-party custom application. However, I have observed that different URLs open in separate tabs, contrary to my expectations.  Current Implementation:  Here is the code snippet I am currently using: java： Intent intent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW); intent.setData(uri); intent.putExtra(Browser.EXTRA_APPLICATION_ID, packageName); startActivity(intent); Expected Behavior:  I expect different URLs to open in the same tab without opening new tabs. This functionality is crucial for my application.  Issue Background:  I have researched similar issues and found that users have had comparable needs using Browser.EXTRA_APPLICATION_ID. Unfortunately, it appears that Firefox has not fully addressed this functionality. The EXTRA_APPLICATION_ID is a feature that modern browsers should ideally support to enhance user experience and maintain continuity within a single tab. Hello, I was told in a review post on google play to post here. I really wish to use firefox as my browser on my phone, but I can't get casting to work. I have a chromecast connected to my TV, but when using firefox on my phone it won't work. The icon isn't even showing. Is it available through an addon or by some other means since Mozilla responded that I should ask here?

Hello everyone, I don't know where it comes from (my screen or moz update), but I have a problem I didn't have before. When I open the tabs menu, the option to close a tab by sliding it laterally is way too sensitive. When I slide vertically to navigate, I very often close one of my tabs. Very annoying. I checked in the parameters if there was an option to deactivate that (Especially that there are crosses on each tabs to close them. The lateral sliding is pretty useless). Is there an option in about/config to deactivate that parameter please ? Thanks in advance.

How to export passwords from Firefox Android in readable format like CSV for other password manager apps like KeePass XC or AuthPass? 

Currently as I'm seeing all Gecko-based browsers especially on mobile not just Firefox but also Mull, Fenix, Waterfox and Iceraven, lacks this.

Is this intentional or should I just keep Chrome as my browser because to jump to Firefox, I need basic things to be covered, which I don't see, Mozilla Firefox team doing on its own. 

Other browsers like Opera have proper in-built system of password manager.
