I'm trying to sync data from my computer to my phone. When I go to the settings, there is NO "sync and save data " option on my phone. So, how then do I sync and save?

Hi! I'm currentley switching over to fire fox and I am trying to sync my bookmarks from my laptop to my mobile phone. When I click "connect another device" in the settings, I get the pop up telling me to find "sync and save data" I hit the three dots at the top right of the mobile app and don't get the option at all. Hi. I use Firefox for Android. In settings, there is an option called "external download manager" (an approximate translation from my language; framed on the screenshot anyway). And I can't resolve the difference whether I turn it on or not. What does this affect? Thanks in advance!

This is annoying, and I suspect may be interfering with my sending of email from my Shaw.ca account (though not from Gmail). Can you please help? Thanks

Does Mozilla offer somewhere to download older versions of Firefox for Android? I've had problems since November when I got this phone and downloaded the latest version of Firefox and every update since with no fix. I'm not able to view comments or make a comment on YouTube. Other people here have the same problem. I've disabled add-ons, uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. There's also an annoying Firefox pop-up when viewing videos in full screen that can be fixed by adjusting a setting in about:config but I've just discovered about: config has been removed!!! 90% of my internet usage is YouTube using Firefox for Android, so the problems are significant to me. An older version works perfectly on my older phone and would like that version on my new phone. Is there a way I can do this? Thank you.

Latest version (version above) on Android appears to have issues on startup of displaying shortcuts on the homepage. It doesn't initially display them, but if I select the private browsing symbol, then select it again to return to normal browsing, the shortcuts reappear. Then when I start Firefox later, having closed it down for a while, the same issue occurs.

Also, from not showing the homepage icons, clicking the '0' and clicking the '+' to add a new tab displays the icons.

Firefox used to start up and display the shortcuts without having to go through the above process.

I've tried various settings for the homepage but none resolve this.

Anyone having the same issue?

Initially the bookmarks on Android started appearing in apparently random order after every quit/restart. I signed out of Laptop and Android, then signed in again and set up syncing again on both, but now the bookmarks on my Laptop no longer appear on Android at all, even after syncing.

I have an issue with picture in picture. Every time I'm watching a video in full screen on m.youtube.com and I want it in picture in picture mode, I press the home button, and it pauses the video whilst also going out of Fullscreen mode. This happens on a Google pixel 9 running android 15 with Firefox version 136.0.2 and on a Google pixel 3xl running android 12 with Firefox version 136.0.2. And on a Samsung s21 running android 14 with Firefox version 134.0.2 (I down graded to fix an audio issue) all of these have the same picture in picture problem How do I fix this?

now facebook said they are giving me 180 days to appeal tothem for suspending my account i try to appeal they said i cannot open the nest step in there browser i should go to another device and continue, that they dont want another site like firefox to view that site my question is how do i realy apeal to facebook now letting them know that my account is real and not fake please help

Back button jumps back two pages. Happened on Google search. Cannot recreate on demand.

Also goes back to previous search if select a new search from the autofill drop down(recommended searches?) twice.

Ex. "I searched Scotiabank, then select Scotiabank phone number from suggested searches. Once there, I select Scotiabank customer service chat but instead of getting those results it sends me back to the original Scotiabank search results."

It doesn't always happen with here but can always seem to recreate by using the back button.

Lemme Describe my question

I'm adding an extension and the language of that site is something that I don't know so I described to translate it. When I click on translate I saw "Translate Language 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 to 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲" Mann first thing that I want to translate that unknown language to "English" And your default language is English instead of "𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲" And in to Section 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗮𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴. 𝗔𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵.

Please Add auto detection of language how may I find that what language I want to translate if I visit that site for first time and idk in which kinda language that site is operating.

In this case chrome's translation is way too better

Stop keyboard and QR scan from appearing when app opened. If I want keyboard then I will tap search. I have pinned sites and bookmarks I use first and usually don't use search. Using search less with all the tracking and always wrong AI assumptions. Keyboard doesn't disappear when search is tapped. Doesn't disappear when screen is tapped. Obscures results. Been a problem for years.

I have a continuous problem when using the Picture in picture mode on an android phone. When enabling Picture in picture the video turns to this (see picture) and won't play it anymore. For the last 2-3 days I haven't been able to use the mode, please help.
