hi I would like to download and install firefox for android which if I understand correctly is named fenix, without going to an app store. I don't see a direct link on the main pages on the website. I noticed at https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/ it looks like it might be possible to get the apk. My concern would be does this violate any terms or licenses? Is this 100 percent ok to do? Also does the firefox owners have anything written answering this? There are websites that imply sideloading firefox might be considered using without permission and I definitely don't want that.

Hi all, There is a bug regarding the "Manage Bookmarks" in Firefox (Android - version 133.0.3).

Despite being sorted accordingly on PC and synchronized, the mobile version of Firefox for bookmarks are scrambled (see attached image).

On mobile Firefox, it looked like it was sorted according to the "recently added" bookmarks.

To add on for more details, expected results according to the PC version of "Bookmarks Manager", it should have been displayed this way on Android Firefox:

• Desktop Bookmarks
• Folder
• Link 1
• Link 2
• Link 3
• Link 4
• Link 5
• Webtoon
• Twitter

And so on.

Several websites I've visited on my Firefox-Android browser generate a popup message that requires me to "enable java script" if I want to gain access. All FAQ I've searched so far says that Firefox enables Java by default. When I navigate to 'site settings' on the Android app settings menu there are no adjustments one can make at all. So . . . (1) Is Java enabled by default on the Firefox Android browser, and (2) Would any kind soul who knows what's wrong clue me in, regardless? Much thanks in advance!

The site (which I have used before on this phone) now tells me I must have Javascript enabled. I have looked through SUPPORT and I see 44 other inquiries on this topic but no answers. HELP!

How do you disable the "feature" that closes tabs when you swipe over them by accident? It's way to sensitive and ends up closing tabs that I want to be left open all of the time.

Firefox browser on android phone. How can I restore my Bookmarks to their previous alphabetic order? They have changed from alphabetic to totally random order within each folder.

I need to enable popups for a site that I use frequently for work. I keep getting an error message saying to enable them, but I don't see a way to do it. The dialog box asks if I want to allow the page to open, but it just goes to a blank page. It works fine on my laptop. I run strict ETP, but have turned it off for this site.

I find myself looking for insecure workarounds to make the support page dark. I want to visit the site, but am avoiding it due to the blinding nature of it... Right now, I'm suffering through it to hopefully find a way!

Mozilla has been a lifesaver, this is just a suggestion, throwing it out there is all!

How do I import/sync passwords from Chrome to Firefox? Chrome suggests a path using "bookmarks" that does not work. Firefox states that it can't be done. Isn't there some way of doing this, possibly by using downloaded .csv file from Chrome. michaelpaul50

Version 133 Android pie. Unauthorized background data usage even when set to denied. System is set to deny background data usage, no exception yet firefox using data. Hate to put firefox on firewall's deny list. Is the future of firefox releases.

Long time firefox user and supporter

Firefox android keeps a full history of entries form the address bar. This list is very helpful when using "search history" option for address bar autocomplete or suggestions. ("Firefox suggests")

HOWEVER, it is insanity inducing when invalid entries exist in that list, as they are endlessly suggested, but cannot easily be exorcised from said list.

Sure, the list can be displayed, and individual or even multiple entries can be displayed (as described in this article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/clear-your-browsing-history-firefox-android

However, this technique requires you to manually scroll through thousands of entries to select the items you may wish. There is no tool to sort the list or any other list manipulation tools. There is a search function, as identified by the magnifying glass icon in the menu bar, and the search tool quickly displayed all the target appearances from the thousands. It even conveniently shows them on the search results page... BUT you cannot effect any of the actions available for the unsearched list. All you can do is open one of the search results. You can't delete, select or anything.

This makes editing the history for invalid or otherwise undesirable entries IMPOSSIBLE.

The tool set needs to be extended to the search results list, or some other tool needs to be provided to edit the history in some other way.

Any suggestions are welcome, this could also be considered s feature suggestion. My only option is to use a different browser, and that is very unplayable to me. I am a radio firefox defender.

I'm trying to add Google chrome or any other search engine in as an additional one. So to add a new search engine you have to title it and then add in its address. I cannot figure out how to write this out correctly. Could someone please help. Thank you kindly.
