When i download movies and web series download start but some time network problem stop download. Some browser like brave, samsung internet are started failed download automatically but firefox doesn't and when i tap on retry download start but always in zip file doesn't extract. Please improve download manager.if you consider please provide protonpass manager.bitawarden play store data protection is note good. Its share details with third party.

I am trying to download some files and they are downloading and same can be seen in notifications but when trying to open download from that notification it's not opening, also opening download from side panel shows that there are no downloads, also i am not using incognito and I am signed in.

Everything is better in Firefox except the download manager. Most of the time when I try to download any file or video it fails. Please improve your download manager.

I am on firefox android. Currently whenever I try to download a file there's a good chance that it fails (like 70%). If the download on a file fails then itll always fail. I have tried clearing cache, disabling all the add ons, enabling external download manager and altering enhanced tracking protection level but nothing works. The only way to "fix" it is by uninstalling but it only solves the issues temporarily. After a certain number of downloads (still uncertain on the number) it goes back to failling. It's incredibly inconvenient to have to do that every 1-2days because it resets all my cookies and I have to relog on all my websites. I have like 30gb on my storage so it couldnt be that. Please any suggestion would be helpful, I feel like I have tried everything at this point. Android version 13 Using the latest version of firefox

I used to be able to long press on a video and then get a pop-up menu with the option to save the video. With the most recent versions that doesn't work anymore. It worked fine inversion 115. Please bring that back!

For the last month I've been having this issue when downloading things from Firefox beta I get this "com.android.phone has stoped working" along with "phone has stopped" error anytime I download something.

Recently I started to experience an issue that whenever I would specifically download a file using the Firefox web broswer for Android, my mobile would temporarily lose it's cell reception. After a few seconds it reconnects. The issue does not appear when downloading (for example) images from the Wikipedia mobile application, or using the Google Chrome browser. The issue is still present when using wi-fi or a VPN connection. This makes me very concerned about my privacy and the safety of my data on my device. The android version used is Android 11 and the app was updated as of September 9th

For the past week or so (Firefox app was last updated around 1st September I believe), my Sony XZ2 phone has restarted itself after saving a picture off the Internet. The new update today didn't fix it. The phone screen goes blank, then the background reappears with the app icons and it reconnects to the internet again. Just like pressing the restart button but much quicker. I've tried other Internet browser apps with saving the same picture and not had it happen. Not sure if it's just a coincidence that the problem has coincided with the last update though.

I am on Android Firefox and I accidentally chose "Always" on the pop-up asking where I want my downloaded items to go. I want to change it because where the files are now sent is inconvenient at best but i cannot find such an option to change my preference in either the Firefox settings bar nor my phone's device settings.

as the title says when downloading a file, firefox causes com.android.phone to crash. enough crashes causes my tablet to panic and auto restart itself.

the only app that can cause this is is firefox, downloading files via something like discord, doesn't trigger it, only firefox. i tried with other apps to no avail.

it started happening after an update (update TB-X606F_S301018_230810_BMP ) (the last update was a year ago so lenovo isn't gonna fix it on their end anytime soon) and it's quite annoying when i need to use firefox to download files to view/use.

Hi Mozilla team. There is some problem with downloading, since few weeks when I use Firefox for download any file/files my mobile signal gets dissappears, for few seconds. Due to that my call gets drop too. This is very serious issue. I tried every possible way to fix this, so I reinstall Firefox but I'm still facing the same problem.

Firefox crashes Android system and System UI processes after every image download.

First problem: downloading image in firefox (android) causes SIM to briefly disconnect, causing internet drops on mobile data for a few seconds. SIM provider and location - GolanTelecom Israel. The browser has about 60 tabs of google search open, cant close them due to valuable data. Disabling addons did nothing. Firefox Nightly does not have this issue, only default Firefox app. Second problem: on some sites downloading images always fails ("Download failed") in mobile version of firefox, on desktop images are downloaded fine , e.g. any post on [ https://www.pixiv.net/en/ ]

while performing a download, "com.android.phone has stopped" apears, the signal strenght indicator in the upper right restarts(disappears, reappears with the 4G mark, the mark disappears and the indicator works after), after that the phone service and the phone app work normally. the download finishes normally.

using motorola e7 plus, android 10

tried restarting the phone, deleting cash and data of phone app, deleting cash of firefox

tried downloading using google chrome, all work normally.

it is possible that the issue started happening after I updated firefox but It's possible that it was happening before too.

Hi, I downloaded webpages as pdfs on FF android and have noticed every page has the timestamp on it. How do l get rid of that? I notice in Chrome it doesn't do that. (Nor does it have the link on every page). I prefer Firefox but want it to download a simple pdf. Thanks for any help.

firefox is crashing when i try to download some file. I gotta clear the app's data for it to work normally again, but this always happens when I try to download it again, also, the browser doesn't open after it crashes, only after I clear its data.

Firefox for Android version 119.0.1 Android 11 (64 bits)

After updating Firefox for Android, my phone started rebooting after downloading any file. This makes it very difficult to use the browser and I had to use Chrome temporarily. The Crashes tab in About Firefox is empty. Whenever i have tried downloading anything from firefox, it crashes the system and the boot logo appears. These crashes also take a lot of time to recover from. My phone is vivo s1 pro and its running android 12.
