I just updated Firefox to version 135.0 on my mobile and now I get this really annoying thing:

Everytime I open a tab to go on the YouTube website, it asks me if I want to leave Firefox and use the YouTube app. Every single time. And it even launched it once without asking me.

I don't want to use the YouTube app, how can I make this stop?

On a new desktop with firefox installed andIm signed in Im trying to snc dsta from ny andoid device from Firefox and signed in. Im told to open firefox mobile and tap the 3 bars but it doesnt have the 3 bars. It has 3 dots but tappng them does not produce what Im suppse to findnext which is "Sync and save data" and scan a code from.

I have two email accounts I've used for Firefox over the years, a Google account on my PC and a Yahoo account for my mobile phones. I don't see a secondary email account on any devices when managing my account, yet when I get go to add them, all devices say they already exist.

I am doing this because I am trying to sync one phone to another. Or, by pairing one to a window on my PC and then pair the second phone to that after that's accomplished.

I didn't see a Sync and Save opinion in my phone menus, and under my email address there is only an option to sync now and no pairing options, nor a QR reader that comes up to see the QR code on my PC trying to sync from there. I cannot even get my new phone to log in to Mozilla to even ask this question.

My PC account options shows that both phones exist in the sync system.

I have tried to solve this problem by using AI,but I have followed the steps given by Deepseek, I have made sure my device are support HEVC and AVC hardware decoding (Snapdragon 870), I also tried to switch my UA to Safari 18, MacOS X, it couldn't help either,but I do the same steps on Edge Canary it works. It bothered me a lot,every time I switched the quality options to 8k,the video playback becomes very According to edge://gpu, I'm very sure 8k video hardware decoding is available on my device. When listening to YouTube in the background, sound is distorted and stutters frequently, which makes it pretty much unusable. Audio is okay when Firefox is in the foreground, but as soon as I lock the phone, audio stutters appear.

I found one fix on Reddit, disabling HD sound in developer options, but I was unable to try it since nobody explained how to get to these developer options, I wasn't able to find that setting myself.

It started happening since 135, was in beta as well. I opted out of beta because of it, but it came on stable release as well so now both beta and stable versions has this issue.

Has anybody encounter that or have fix?

Hi! I accidentally deleted 30 inactive tabs that I planned to read later in Android firefox app with button "Close all tabs" and there is no way to restore them now.

As of a few weeks ago I no longer get tab history by a long press on the back arrow. Is there a way to fix this? Thank you.

Hi. I encountered a problem when browsing previous pagr after google search in android version of Firefox. The procedure for reproducing the problem is described bellow.

Environment: 135.0.1 (Build #2016074239), hg-7c2ff1aa3394+ GV: 135.0.1-20250216192613 AS: 135.0.1 Pixel 6a(Android 15)

Procedure: 1. Search any word(such as "test a") with google. 2. Tap any link showed in searching result. 3. Perform "previous page" gesture(horizontal swipe at edge of the screen), then searching result of "test" is shown. 4. Search another word(such as "test b") with google search bar of google website, not search bar of Firefox. 5. Tap any link showed in searching result. 6. Perform "previous page" gesture(horizontal swipe at edge of the screen).

Expected result: Searching result page of "test b" is shown.

Actual result: Searching result page of "test a" is shown.

Other informations: - This doesn't happen with other searching engine. - This do happen without extensions - This also happen in private session - Clearing cache solve this problem for a while but this happen again soon. - This doesn't happen in PC browsing mode

I encountered the same phenomenon when I searched the word that I've searched before. So I doubt that google search and cache algorithm of Firefox is not compatible.

I'm not sure if that term is accurate, but the phenomenon I just described is occurring more often on my Firefox Android browser. The obvious navigational disadvantages of that arrangement are joined by an inability to save page-specific shortcuts to my phone's screen. The query 'stripping' in this Help Community's search box provided no useful results, so I'm asking here if there's anything I can do in my settings (or by any other means) to block websites from forcing that behavior upon my Android browser?

is there a way to get Android bookmarks behave like Firefox bookmarks for Windows?. it is so frustrating to have to start over and click through bookmarks sunflowers to get to the right bookmarks, only to accidently touch a wrong url.
