Sometimes I want to close tabs to free up memory but I don't want to close the tab I'm currently using so I have to close all other tabs manually which is tedious.
Perhaps tapping and holding could bring up a menu that says "Close all other tabs" and/or "Close tabs before/after" like on desktop.

The Delete Browsing Data option, manually or by the quit button, doesn't clear cookies if the tab is still open.
Simple example: go to youtube.com, search for anything, e.g. "asmr". In the same tab, go to a new site, e g. google.com. Then go to settings and Delete Browsing Data, with all selected but downloads. Now, all tabs are closed, so in a new tab go to youtube.com, and click in the search and the previous search, e.g. "asmr", shows up in a droplist.
This droplist behavior shouldn't occur when all data is cleared. This behavior doesn't occur if the tab is closed before Delete Browsing History is selected.
I use to keep Bookmarks until I specially deleted them. As Bookmarks they stayed. Now when I do automatic search daily delation, the Bookmarks are also removed! I am not … (читать ещё)

I am not an EE but is there some easy way to separate these 2 so I can keep Bookmarks yet delete Search History? Thank you. A Bookmark to me is not permanent or ephemeral but totally under my control like on a book I put back on the self. What is a Bookmarks to Mozilla Firefox?
