Hi, my firefox appears to be missing its navigation/toolbar. I only have a single bottom bar for the address bar, home, tab and the three dots. I would like to have the back, forward button, bookmarks to be pinned on the toolbar area. I try to use the Secret Setting but it does not have the option to enable toolbar. I have included two screenshots, the orange circle depicting my current situation. I would like to have something similar to the toolbar (Samsung Internet Browser) in the other screenshot with teal circle.

I'm trying to enable javascript on my firefox android mobile device. But when I type the about:config instruction in the address bar, the response firefox gives me is that it can't find that page. Why can't firefox find this page? I need to enable javascript in order to use my trusted Speechify text-to-speech app.

With site permissions for location set to "ask to allow" I respond by allowing access to my location for a specific website, but it continuously reverts to "blocked" quickly and automatically on Firefox for Android. How do I fix this problem? I want this site to continue to access my location without intermittent blocking., as it has for more than one year without problems.

I'm wondering why FF doesn't have something built into the browser that will resize text when you zoom in. Right now, if I zoom in on text, it DOES get larger, but then it also goes outside the edges of the browser so that I have to constantly scroll left and right to read the article I did come across an add on, but come on. This is something basic that should be build into the browser:

Greetings. I bought a new phone and downloaded the latest version of FF for Android. I use Private Browsing mode on both phines. This new version has the Search Suggestions from Boommarks and I don't like it. It's too distracting for me. My question: How do I turn it off? Thank you.

I am using Samsung S23 with the latest One UI and Android 14. Samsung's built-in browser has a neat feature where you can open YouTube or Reddit links in the apps installed on the device instead of viewing them in the mobile version of the website in the browser. I assume that Firefox has the same functionality called "Open links in apps" in the settings, but I tried all the available options and neither YouTube or Reddit links are automatically opened in their respective apps, nor is there a button anywhere to force them to open in the apps. Am I doing or assuming something wrong, or is this a bug?

I'm trying to set my DNS settings in Firefox Nightly to a custom service. But i am having nothing but problems.

I want to use one of these settings for the secured w/ECS:Malware blocking, DNSSEC Validation, ECS enabled.

My only problem is I'm not sure which format of the address options I should be inputting in the DNS settings in the about:config

P S. Yes I know I can set a custom DNS address in the connections settings of my android device. And it works most of the time. I however want my own settings in the browser itself.

Since I have been using Firefox Android from S7 Edge to this S23+ it will not follow system settings for dark mode. If I set it to light mode it's always in light mode. if I set it to dark mode it stays in dark mode, no matter what the system setting.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra running latest Android update and latest Firefox update. I set Firefox as my default browser. I have un-installed all updates for Samsung Internet and removed all permissions for it. Disabling it is greyed out. Some apps that I use have links to websites. Too frequently, when I go to one of those links, the intro screen for Samsung Internet opens. Then, when I look at the settings in Firefox it is no longer set as the default. Then I set Firefox to default and go to my phone settings to see that Firefox is selected as the default. If I open the previously mentioned app and choose the web link, Firefox will open. But somewhere along the way, the default changes back to Samsung Internet and it's a vicious circle. I have posted in a Samsung forum but haven't gotten a reply that solved the problem. Please help. The ' add home screen ' function not working. If i click on it than the the function is not working. It is not adding the webpage to home screen. Or sometimes this function is very useful to install the webpage in our mobile but its not working. Please fix this.
