Android 14, One UI 6.0, Samsung S22+

Firefox is using a large amount of battery while idle. You can see my app runs open a lot of the day, but not in use much. It has drained 20 percent of one days battery, and I am watching YouTube videos on another app (Grayjay btw check it out!) and it has used far less battery. If I set Firefox into a sleeping state, the app still drains a lot of battery. When in deep sleep,it stops draining as much power, but then Android keeps auto pushing their own browser to be my primary browser. I'm not sure what to do in this case, as it's too much of a hassle to have links not auto open in Firefox when in deep sleep. This excessive battery drain doesn't make sense, and I was wondering if there was any fix for this. Thanks for taking the time.

I am trying to sync my desktop Firefox data to my Android phone, a Samsung Galaxy S21+. In every help topic I read, it says to click the three dots on Android, go to settings and click "Sync and save data," then click "Ready to scan" and scan the QR code provided from my desktop account. The issue I am running into is that the "Sync and save data" option does not exist on my Firefox Android app. If I click on my profile on the phone, I can click "Sync" but it doesn't do anything. It does not work if I try to scan the QR code through the phone camera instead. I am at a loss for how to sync my Mozilla account on these two devices. My Firefox app is up to date. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it.

1. When we press Home button in the app toolbar, It opens a new tab and sends the active tab in background instead of closing the tab. The correct working of Home button is to show Homepage in current tab. For opening new tab, we can use "New Tab" option. Because of this all tabs keep getting stored in background and it's quote irritating.

2. Same for back swipe gesture, the tab gets stored in background instead of closing. For example, I clicked on an Article in Google Feed, it redirects to Firefox, now after reading the article, I swiped back to go back to Google Feed. Now swiping back gesture doesn't close the active tab, instead it stored the tab in background. Because of this too much tabs gets stored in background and need manual effort to remove the tabs.

So, Fix these two features.

I'm so annoyed by these notifications for utterly random websites / "news" that started after a recent update (see attached screenshot). I don't want these, bit also don't want to turn off notifications altogether. Thank you!

I use FF on PC.

2 issues I have with android FF.......

I want my tabs like in the PC version,in a line across the top. Not hidden under a click me to see tabs.

History keeps showing in shortcuts,how to stop that?

for a recent update or two, when I am watching videos in fullscreen, at least like me, for example, when I entered fullscreen, the video should play horizontally, but after merely half a minute, the screen orientation goes back to vertical mode automatically, which is not happening when I began to use Firefox android months ago. Watching same website on different browsers, only Firefox goes wrong, so I think this should be Firefox's bug.

I need to export passwords from Android Firefox. I know this functionality exists in the desktop version, but I do not have access to a desktop. I cannot find the same function in the Android version.

Out of nowhere, the browser stopped when I was browsing and the pages started showing slowness. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

When I finally decided to start organizing my hundreds of bookmarks, I began to experience a crash every 1-2 minutes. I'm opening, editing and moving bookmarks into different folders, which by itself shouldn't cause frequent crashes. My phone's specs shouldn't be an issue either since I have an s24 ultra. Hi I'm using speed dial 2 on Firefox desktop. On Firefox Android I have not this possibility to set custom dials/sites on Start page and new tabs. When I try to use the built-in function I see pages from history. It's a big must and huge update to integrate a facility like this.

Android app of firefox notes was online and data were shown until yesterday. But mistakenly logged out and now can't log in to recover. Is there any option to recover my notes.

When I click on a web push notification in Firefox on Android, the link in the notification does not open. If no page is previously open in the browser, a blank tab appears. If another page is open, that page is displayed.
