I've been trying to install .xpi files for Firefox on Android 12 with little success. Every file manager I've tried doesn't give me the option to open .xpi files with Firefox and my device isn't rooted so I can't access the full file system.

Are there any articles/suggestions? I've always wanted extensions on mobile but never been able to install.

My query is regarding Youtube HD extension in Firefox Android Browser. The browser supports max quality upto 1080p resolution. The query is I cannot watch Youtube video in 1440p , 4k resolution. What's the problem with the extension.

Similarly I use other browser on my phone i.e. Vivaldi browser. On Vivaldi browser I can watch Youtube videos in 1440p , 4k resolution.

Hey guys, I'm using Leechblock NG on my firefox browser but everyone with access can just disable or remove the extension, there's a way to prevent this? Some way to block the remove/disable options in my extensions

Have just started Firefox for Android on my mobile. Just to ask how I could use the Firefox Reader add-on on my mobile, please? On my Firefox browser on my laptop, this works for me, but I cannot get it to work on my mobile. Any suggestions, please?

Hi I am unable to install any add-ons on my Firefox browser. I keep getting the same message that the addon failed to install. I do have Adguard installed but when it was disabled the installation still failed. I don't know what to do :(

Where can I find the extension for Grammarly. I hate it; can't go to extensions just add-ons. Please don't offer it as part of Firefox. It doesn't like you to use a semicolon; wants you to use a full sentence instead of Correctly using a semicolon. Stupid addition!

I am opening a web page which shows a pdf file online on its web page, it has no download link. So i can not see the pdf file online in web pages. Do the needful to give users a plug-in, or add on or extension of mozila firefox for Android phone. So we can see see and read pdf files online in the same way as a user can see in computer pc web browser. Thank you

I want to see all web pages in desktop view, without having to change the setting for each page I go to. This is an option in other popular browsers. Why not this one?

And please don't tell me why mobile view is better or why I don't really need the feature I'm asking for. I know what I want. And I know exactly why I want it. And I know I'm not the only one who wants it. in July 2021 someone asked for the same thing and Paul replied, "This is something that we are currently working on and hope to include in a future update very soon (it is currently in our Nightly version while it is being tested)." A year and a half later, it's still not available, including (as far as I can see) in the Nightly version. Yet in both instances of this feature being requested, the topic is marked "Solved" and archived. I guess the "solution" is to ignore what users want and force us to use the product in the way you think we should. Very Apple/Google of you!

Between this, no ability to export bookmarks from mobile, and very limited extension support, I'm finding myself ready to give a very bad rating in the play store and switch to another browser.

Every time time I try to install any addon it fqils, every single addon in the recommended list failed.
