I have read the thread for this similar problems, tried all the suggestions but I'm Still experiencing videos not staying full-screen. Is there any other solution to it? This has started since yesterday but everything was fine before then.

I have firefox for android, and I have ublock origin, which is great.

However, firefox seems to refresh constantly- even if I minimize it than return instantly- it automatically goes into a refresh mode, it refreshes randomly while scrolling- I wish I coudl completely turn this "feature" off across all browsers.

I cannot state how many times I have lost VITAL data from this annoying random refreshing.

It should be an option to completely disable refreshing of ANY kind, rather than forcing it down our throats, and losing time, and data. If I want to see new content I will refresh it myself/ re enable the option. I was hoping this ridiculous "feature" would be phased out when humanity pulled its head out, but apparently- it's gotten even worse, now.

I'm not sure why, sometimes the status bar clock and stuff do hide, but I just can't seem to figure out how to get them to hide every time, and they usually don't. I've already tried disabling picture in picture for the app but that isn't noticeably helping. Full screen video is supposed to hide those, right? What are the reasons it wouldn't?

When a video plays, it will be laggy for a few seconds, the came back normal. Sometimes it doesn't recover from it. This happened almost everytime for the Firefox 124.2 version, seems like it has a frame rate cap.

As I installed the Firefox 122.0 version, it only appears a few times a moment, but still face a small chance to occur.

I was a bit surprised that I found some mozilla kraken benchmark 1.1 results that were somewhat better than mine (despite being done on the same mobile SoC as mine)

I then read closely that the better score was made on the Chrome Mobile browser.

I then installed Chrome on my mobile and also suddenly got results which average were about 25 - 28 % better than when I ran Kraken in Firefox Is that to be expected? Or can I do something to make my firefox just as fast?

On the Firefox Android app, after closing few tabs, exiting the application and re-entering the application, the closed tabs reappears as if they weren't closed at all. I found this is a well known bug and there are few open threads on bugzilla on this topic. Someone said that's related to a corruption of the closed tabs' json file.

PS. It's difficult to share a screenshot, probably a video is more explanatory

Any website that uses OscillatorNode and other similar features has the audio generated devolve into a crackly mess after only a second or two.

I'm having the same issue as previously posted below. I am on a Google pixel 7 pro.

"On youtube mobile site or a reddit video, when I click the bottom right button to fullscreen the video, a message pops up that says 'entering fullscreen mode' (with a firefox logo on the left of the message) and then firefox closes and I'm at my android home page

This seems to happen when I watch videos in a new instance. If I reopen firefox to the video and then try fullscreen again, it goes full screen no problem. So basically it's annoying and happens when I try to watch any video full screen for the first time.

Is this a known bug? Wasn't an issue on my old phone (I just got the galaxy s23). "

Logged into Mozilla, Sync now does nothing, "Last synced: never" Also crashes frequently all since last update.

When i use mozilla in android 13 tablet, and i click on the 3-dot menu while the address bar is set to appear in bottom of screen, i cannot see the full 3-dot menu neither can i scroll to the end of it -only half od it appears. When the address bar is set at the top of the screen,the problem does not exist in landscape view. Please fix it

When playing a video on YouTube the video is choppy and drops around 2/3 of the frames. This happens on every video that I click on.

I have found that if I double tap to jump back 10 seconds in the video it will no longer drop frames and play smoothly, but if I change the playback resolution it returns to being choppy until jumping in the video again.

I am currently running the latest stable download from the play store, and my phone is a OnePlus 8t.

Hi, this issue has been present for a long time for me, and with many versions of Firefox Nightly for Android.

I'm always using the latest nightly for browsing Youtube only, with a set of specific settings and addons (since we can't use profiles on Android yet)

My problem is I've configured the Homepage to never show anything but a few URLs I chose to pin, you can see my settings and my homepage in the screenshots attached.

Despite the "Recently visited" setting being disabled, sometimes, but not everytime, the last pages I visited are added to the Homepage, after the pinned sites. I have no idea what triggers it or not, if I'm doing something wrong or if it's a bug.

Triggered usually by any Website with a (google) map.

   Chrome on Android 13 on the Oukitel RT5 displays these Websites properly.

'Split Screen' functionality & gestures useless. The appear they might work until finger contact with the touchscreen is discontinued, then every attempt rebounds to half the screen still black.

  The only 'way out' of 'split' screen is to exit FF.

There appears no way to 'disable' Android's split-screen functionality

Every time I'm trying to stream video like live sports the video lags so much. I've tried to reinstall the app and run it with no addon ( even though I only use 2 addons) and problem still persists... I'm using a Samsung S21 Ultra.

Just updated Firefox, now it doesn't respond to clicks, not can I select text, websites don't load, all the tabs are at half -resolution. Unusable. Need to use it.

Websites are mostly reporting that my browser Firefox Android latest needs advanced or enhanced Javascript support and about:config no longer works.

All sites working in Microsoft Edge for Android.

My Firefox Android tabs in grid view constantly get reset.

I can open 5 new tabs and them be in order and at the bottom, since they are the last viewed. Then when I reopen Firefox they are gone and tabs I had closed before are back there.

My history tab is also always blank unless I search.

I appreciate any help :)

During video streaming and visiting sites, that use animation while browsing, artefacts appear. Tried reinstalling firefox, clearing data, disabling addons but to no avail.

On video streaming it occurs specifically when playing the video and interacting with the in browser player i.e. just bringing up the seekbar or playback speed.

Device: Redmi Note 13Pro+

Does not occur with chrome and duckduckgo browser.
