Why can't I put bookmarks into folders? I've followed all the instructions but nothing works. Bookmarks cannot be created or moved to folders.

There is no option to accept only back arrow. Bookmarks never move.

Tried option to create new with same result.

Seems no way organize bookmarks in android.

I'm trying to sync my bookmarks from my old (samsung S9+, firefox version 126.0.1) to my laptop & new phone (samsung S21+). On the old phone all the articles (specifically https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-set-firefox-sync-firefox-android#mobile::m126) say hit the 3 dots from the firefox search screen, tap "Sync and save your data". Well, I don't see that option.

On the laptop I see the 2D bar code, just can't scan it on the phone.

Any clues?

On my Tablet, the Bookmarks have decided to split into two folders :Bookmarks and Other Bookmarks. Not what I want. Is there any way that I can get them to combine to just Bookmarks?

When I finally decided to start organizing my hundreds of bookmarks, I began to experience a crash every 1-2 minutes. I'm opening, editing and moving bookmarks into different folders, which by itself shouldn't cause frequent crashes. My phone's specs shouldn't be an issue either since I have an s24 ultra. For some reason, Mozilla is showing me different folders in the "new bookmark" dialog than it is when I go into my actual bookmarks. I added a new subfolder through the "new bookmark" dialog, but it isn't showing up when I open my bookmarks menu. I then tried adding a subfolder in the bookmarks menu to see if it worked the other way around, but that folder isn't showing up in the "new bookmark" dialog either. Ideas? Suggestions? I'm a relatively new Firefox user, and this is really frustrating me!

Firefox is my GoTo browser. I appreciate that it is open source and respects privacy and security.

Right now I am struggling with release 126.0 on a Lenovo tablet running Android 13. My issue is the use and access to bookmarks. Unlike previous versions of Firefox there seems to be no way to get a bookmarks toolbar. That was a helpful feature in previous versions. And favorites are not as clean. My hope is that Mozilla will return to a bookmark toolbar.

i like firefox on my cell phone as well as on my pc, but i encounter a problem on my tablet. The screen is big enough that I could display my bookmarks bar permanently (as well as tabs). if I want to look up several things quickly, which would certainly be possible with my tablet with keyboard and mouse, I can't even do that because I can't open the bookmarks that quickly.

however, i can understand that this is not permanently implemented, but i would like to have a customization option via on/off in the settings and while we are on the subject, an option to switch tabs on/off like on the desktop like the page marker permanently on desktop mode would be really nice.

of course it could be that these options already exist, then it would be that i am too stupid to find them because i really couldn't imagine that they don't exist and have already rummaged through all the options.

Why are basic features like editing bookmarks not in the app. On chrome you are able to click and hold on a bookmark to select it, then click and hold on it again to move it anywhere you'd like in the folder. Also there is no "move to" option on Firefox which would make sorting much easier, it would be nice to have such a simple feature like this for convenience.

I have made Firefox my default browser and am attempting to import my bookmarks from my AVG browser. However, when the choice menu appears, all browsers are shown except AVG. Any help appreciated. TIA.

I am writing to inquire about the possibility of searching and organizing bookmarks on the Android app using tags. I have recently organized years of Firefox bookmarks on the desktop app by tagging my bookmarks and removing them from folders. I would very much benefit from being able to use a tag-based workflow on mobile as I do on desktop. I notice this question was first raised about 10 years ago. I would like to know if there are any updates, or if perhaps there is an add-on that can fill this gap. Thank you!

Mam dużo otwartych kart. Po zamknięciu kilku kart, gdy wyjdę z aplikacji (zminimalizuje ją) i wejdę ponownie karty które zamknąłem nadal są otwarte. Tak jakby otwierają się na nowo. To bardzo duży problem, nie mogę zamknąć kart. Nie znalazłem nigdzie odpowiedzi na ten problem Proszę o pomóc Pozdrawiam serdecznie

Why were my bookmarks wiped out by April 2024 forced Firefox update to my Android Samsung S21 Ultra? 😡 Since I don't synch, can't find a way to restore my many bookmarks.

This solution does not work. Firefox on Android will display a "Did you use the system camera? You must pair from within the Firefox app." when selecting the QR scanner from the dialogue box in Firefox. The option is still missing in the menu as well.
