In the version prior to 122.0.1, I was able to restore a previous session I had accidentally closed by going to the toolbar menu button, choosing History, and then selecting the Restore Previous Session button. But in 122.0.1, that button no longer appears. How can I now achieve a restoration of the previous session?

When trying to scan qr code to add device, your instructions are incorrect and impossible to complete. Way to go! When depressing the three bars for menu THERE IS NO "SYNC AND SAVE" option on the ios version.

bold textchange the instructions or at least pay attention to and go through the process yourself!!
