I have internal web sites, which have self-signed certs. Firefox iOS will no longer allow me to access them. It simply shows a blank screen until it times out. There is no setting I can see to change this behaviour. Please change.

A private site that authenticates via user certificates works successfully with Safari, but fails in Firefox iOS (yet works fine in Firefox for Windows) Firefox seems to neither: 1. access user certificates from the iOS Configuration Profile 2. manage certificates in its own store.

On initial load, Safari prompts for which certificate to use, while Firefox displays an NSURLErrorDomain message.

Is there a way to use user certificates in Firefox iOS for authentication (i.e. am I doing something incorrectly)? If not, can such functionality please be added.

For the past 2-3 weeks none of the drop down menus I've tried to use have worked. Whenever I try to use one or select something on a drop down menu in mobile, the menu does not register my selection and remains on its default setting/option.

I know it has to be an issue with Firefox iOS specifically because when I opened the page on safari (mobile) the drop down menu worked fine; same with google chrome (ios) and the desktop version of firefox (on mac).

I tried to fix it be clearing my private data and the website data from firefox ios, but it didn't do anything.

I don't know what else to do and it's driving me crazy.

Please help!

PS If it's relevent, my firefox ios is up to date and currently running Firefox 116.3, though the issue was also present in 116.2 and whichever version(s) of firefox was running at the beginning of August 2023.

Procedure 1. Open Firefox iOS 2. Open some pages 3. Force-close the app 4. Open Firefox again

Expected result - The tabs that previously opened is kept and possible to access

Actual result - The tabs exists, but displaying default new tab page, cannot visit the page - pageback/forward is not working - All tabs are affected

note - By pressing down pageback/forward, there is history which says "internal://local/sessionstore?url=..." is generated. - There are some people on my local app store (JP) complaining the same issue. - After erasing and reinstalling the app, this issue happened again.

The app is almost unusable because of this bug.

I have an Iphone 11 Pro with iOS version 16.5.1, and I have been having some problems with the Firefox app. I have a number of tabs on my browser, with some of them being very old. I was trying to clear some of them up and I noticed that a good portion of them will not load. Even though I can see their titles in the tab, when I select them, only a blank white page loads up, not even with a URL bar, so I am unable to reload the site. When I try to tap on the tab for longer than a few seconds to bring up additional options, the whole app crashes.

What can be done about this?

In either standard Firefox, when I watch Youtube videos, roughly 1% of battery charge is used per minute of viewing, i.e. if I watch 20 minutes of a video, my charge has gone down 20%. Is there something I can do to fix this besides getting rid of Firefox?

I am trying to make a purchase on the 5% nutrition website. The browser will not allow me to change flavors from the drop down menu. When I select from the drop down the page reloads to the default. The website works on other browsers. I am running version 116.0.2. Thanks, Jesse

I just updated my Firefox web browser app to Version 118 from app store. Since then, the app is not functional at all. Most of my tabs won't load, and the app crashes every time I open it. I am on ios 16.7.

Firefox has become basically unusable since the iOS 17.1.2 update. Everything is extremely slow — opening a tab, selecting the address bar, waiting for keyboard to load, typing, loading results etc. Only after the wait at each step to load a web page does it become navigable as long as I stay there and don’t leave to return later. I’m on latest version in app store. Been a Firefox user since my first smartphone and beyond that on a PC. I prefer Firefox, but I downloaded the DuckDuckGo browser just to have something responsive for basic web searches. Please help.

Last few days I am unable to see my Xfinity / Comcast & google emails via Firefox - but I can see them via Safari. Addresses are : [edited] @comcast.net, [edited] @gmail.com. Have been able to get them via Firefox for a long time prior. Also, lately firefox will stop my search until I click the FF icon where a wheel is turning and once I click it, it changes to a check mark and then I can proceed. Can you help please? Thank you.

Could you please help me, I'm having trouble logging into some of my accounts, I can't access verification codes or the correct passwords for apps like Amazon.co.uk also I keep having to log onto Firefox browser as it does not allow me to stay lodged in does it need to be updated or is there something else I should be doing. Aside from poor performance and often inability to load web pages, will Firefox ever work reasonably on iOS? I just "upgraded" to 108, and it immediately broke. Opening to homepage resulted in instant crash. Have seen this behavior on earlier versions when accessing history, bookmarks, etc., but now it's homepage. I.e., the browser is absolutely useless unless opened directly from some other app. Since this happens so often, I'm thinking that "upgrades" should be avoided. This time, I had to delete the app and re-install it, which lost all bookmarks, etc., and it still crashed numerous times when trying to access bookmarks and some of settings. This is a most annoying and unsatisfactory app, and I don't want to spend my time trying to make it work. BTW, I'm writing this from Ubuntu, so that at least I can enter the complaint.

I have had hundreds of tabs open both on the normal and private side but now when i scroll back to try to access them, they appear blank. For some of them, the title shows, but for others, they are completely blank. I have tried to refresh them but it does not solve the problem, i still cannot see them. I also, cannot hit back / forward to navigate the the previous page for a particular empty tab. This is extremely frustrating because I have things that I need to go back to but now when I do, it is empty. Can you please help to resolve this issue as I really do not want to loose this information that I had on these tabs. I am providing some screenshots to display the issue.
