My option for night mode to invert the colors for websites has suddenly disappeared from the menu. If I go to settings I can turn on dark mode but it does not work for a lot of websites. How can I get night mode back?

With version 124 of Firefox, the ‘Dark Mode’ theme no longer works. Whether I set the theme to “Use System Light/Dark Mode” or if I manually set the theme to dark, it still always shows ‘light’ mode. FYI, my iPad settings are set to ‘Dark’ mode.

I prefer to read white text on a black background - much easier on the eyes! In earlier releases of Firefox, I was able to enjoy reading stories. Now I must set my iPad (manually whenever I want to use Firefox to read) to ‘Smart Invert’ (which will switch the Firefox window to dark mode), then turn off ‘Smart Invert’ to do anything else on my iPad.

I found a bug in your Firefox for iPad in Version 125.2 and earlier that has been recurring. Once I establish Dark Mode in one tab, (Tab 1) via system dark mode on iPad settings and Firefox Settings, When I open a new tab,(Tab 2) it will be in Light Mode. When I switch Tab 2 to Dark Mode via Firefox settings, it will automatically switch Tab 1 into Light mode. If I switch all odd # tabs into Dark Mode, all Even # tabs will be a weird Light Mode but with the videos in screen paused in a strange negative photo view. After reading up on all websites, forums on Mac, iPad and Firefox, it seems this is a Firefox Bug. To correct this, all tabs opened in either light or dark mode should be the same mode as the new tabs opened. My iPad update has been updated to the latest version 17.4.1 iPad 9th Gen.

I’ve used Firefox for many years on both my pc and mobile and keep them both up to date and use sync. However recently when using the app and wish to enter my username and password with autofill, after using my phones passkey, I can find the website on my password list but the username and password are not being displayed and will not autofill to the website I am attempting to use. However, when I am using the website on my pc I have no issues at all. Even after manually entering the username on the app password list and attempt to access it again at a later time, the username and password are not being displayed or deleted. Please see attached photo as an example.

When I scan any QR code it goes to a Firefox start page instead of the site the code it’s written to. The same for links from other apps. My software is up to date. I have tried powering down and restarting. I really like Firefox and would like to keep it as my primary browser. What should I check?

Recently, I reported a glitch with e-mail messages from you. The text of the messages was darkened either completely or almost to the point of being unreadable--actually, backgrounded--always at least partially covered by a pop-up telling about the trackers that were derailed by the DuckDuckGo browser. Since then, I have made a discovery: The problem occurs when using Apple's iPhone Mail app, but not at all when using Microsoft's iPhone Outlook app. It should be noted that e-mails from you go to my Microsoft (Outlook.com) account. I had been using Firefox on my iPhone for forever. All of a sudden the icon just disappeared, so I can no longer use it as my browser. When I check my apps in Settings, it's there, and checked as my browser, but there's no longer an icon to click on. I went to the app store thinking it had somehow become deleted, and instead of being able to get the app, it just says Open, meaning that it should be on my phone. How do I get the icon back? The way it is now, I can't even delete and re-install it.

DuckDuckGo is default browser on iOS ad iMac. I want to block any and all Amazon.com results from my searches. How do I do that? If an overall block is not possible, how to I customize a search or the results list to filter out Amazon.com?

Prevent websites from auto-reloading while reading/scrolling. Sites where this reloading problem occurs reliably (so you can test, for example), include HuffingtonPost and CNN.

Sorry, but this feature is a PITA. Is there a way to turn it off.

I've been a firefox user for > 15 years but I won't continue to be if I have to put up with this.

You should make it so you have to opt to turn in on.

I'm tryin to swap over to firefox from chrome vbut I can't see my bookmarks. It seems that the desktop version supports a bookmarks toolbar but the IOS version doesn't. t wouldn't be so bad if I could see ALL my bookmarks on IOS but I can't. I can't find any way of accessing them.

I don't need a bookmarks toolbar on IOS, I just want access to those I bookmark on desktop into the bookmarks toolbar.

Any ideas?

Hi all, opening of external links (e.g. out of AppleMail or any other App) is no longer possible since FF version 123.0 (IPhone 6S+ mit IOS 15.8.2, FF is standard-browser). The last weeks I followed the article (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1442950) which should be fixed with version 124. Meanwhile I updated to FF version 125.2 but the issue is not solved for me yet. When I click on an external link in AppleMail or other Apps, FF starts and shows the startscreen. Then the screens "flickers" one time but nothing else happens. Because not many users are reporting this issue I think that may be a configuration set on my IPhone is the cause of this and not a bug in FF. Has anyone an idea what can be the issue and how to solve it ?

I'm now very annoyed by this issue and if I don't find a solution soon, I'll install another browser.

I keep getting the red padlock but when I tap on it it says my connection is secure and when I tap on that it shows that I’m connected to HTTPS. What’s causing this? Is my connection exposed? When i shutdown and reopen the app the red padlock goes away but I'm confused as it says 'connection is secure' either way.
