My Firefox keeps going into private browsing on its own. I deleted the app and cleared it and it’s done it again. When I go into settings there is no way for me to uncheck private browsing

Hello! Does anyone know how to disable auto refresh on an iPad with Firefox for IOS? About:config does not run on the iPad... Thanks!!

I would LOVE to see the option to either

• save bookmarks to the last selected location
• or to set a different default location than „mobile bookmarks“

The background d is that I usually never want to save to mobile bookmark folder, and almost exclusively use the bookmark bar or even a specific „sort“/„inbox“ folder in it.

Is there a way to achieve this on iOS already?

I have Firefox on my desktop and iPad and both are synced. I love Firefox on my desktop but, honestly, I have to continue to use Safari on my Ipad because the iOS version of Firefox is nowhere near as good. One of my biggest obstacles to converting to Firefox on my iPad is trying to save bookmarks so I can access them on my desktop. When I bookmark a page on my iPad I cannot find it's location on my desktop. Can you please advise where Firefox places bookmarks that are saved on my iPad. Thanks

I have an older iphone6 because my Android broke. I can barely download any as pps do to ios not being new enough. Is there a way I can download Firefox and other apps?

Firefox keeps opening up external apps when I do not want them to be opened. It opens the link in the browser AND in the app, which makes it insultingly frustrating when I eventually go to close the tabs in the browser because every time I try to close the tabs, the external app reopens!

would like to raise my concern my curiosity regarding a recent issue I encountered. Specifically, I need to address how my IP details are being accessed, especially when using enhanced protection measures. Additionally, I am concerned about the privacy aspects of private browsing and whether unauthorized individuals can gain access to my user details legally.

Sooo I had tens of tabs open, with intention to keep them - I couldn't find an option to save all of them, so decided to update the app, just in case FF caught up with some functionalities I've seen in my other browsers - bookmarking all tabs, namely.

After I've updated, all my open tabs are gone and "recently closed" is empty. There's no way to have the tabs back.

I don't expect there's a way to solve this problem, but I'm posting it here just in case, and at the same time marking my segue to Safari.

Hi - I deleted & reinstalled Firefox focus for IOS because I was unable to email myself articles from FF. Now, every time I open an email on my Protonmail app, instead of it opening in Safari, it opens in FF (where I have Safari turned off). What have I done? (lol) And could you please help?

Firefox has been my default browser, but when I click on a link in an email newsletter, for example, often I get to the Firefox homepage instead of the link. I have to click a second time to get the linked page itself. When I search with Firefox and click on a link, I may get there, but if I try to go back to the search page, the page crashes and I'm taken to the Firefox home page. I fear I will lose my saved passwords if I uninstall and reinstall--is there any alternative?

As the subject suggests, I’m trying to figure out how I can recover about 180 tabs I lost while the inactive tabs setting was enabled. I don’t remember Firefox crashing - I just noticed a few days ago that all my inactive tabs were gone and have since been trying to find a way to recover them, with no success.

Which is why I’m here. Is there a way to access Firefox’s iOS files? From my research, I’m thinking it’s possible info on tabs might still be stored somewhere in those files.

I lost the list of recovery codes before I could write any down. I clicked on the first key, can’t recall now what it was or what I was even thinking…I should’ve snapped a pic! They’re all gone. What can I do? Thanks for your efforts.
