Sooo I had tens of tabs open, with intention to keep them - I couldn't find an option to save all of them, so decided to update the app, just in case FF caught up with some functionalities I've seen in my other browsers - bookmarking all tabs, namely.

After I've updated, all my open tabs are gone and "recently closed" is empty. There's no way to have the tabs back.

I don't expect there's a way to solve this problem, but I'm posting it here just in case, and at the same time marking my segue to Safari.

On an iPhone, Firefox stores your browsing history within the app’s local storage, which is not directly accessible due to iOS’s security restrictions.

However, you can only export your ~FUTURE~ local mobile browsing history by using Firefox Sync.

Firefox Sync does not work retroactively for local mobile browsing history from past sessions due to the way the synchronization process is structured.

TL;DR: I want to export my local mobile browsing history as .txt or .csv -- When you enable Firefox Sync, it starts syncing the data from that point forward. However, my pre-existing local mobile browsing history cannot be exported as a file such as bookmarks can, and it cannot be saved to my desktop via Firefox Sync for the reasons above. Thus, it is literally only possible to scroll over it and open the sites one-by-one in order to pop them into the Sync-able history, which I do not want to do using iOS automation...

I can’t find a password I just saved onto Firefox in Passwords . When I search for the site in Passwords it says there is no matching login and provides no password.

Help me synch all passwords from Firefox on my MS Surface Pro to my new iphone 15promax. It was synching just fine with my iphone 13 but with new phone I am lost. I have selected the option to Sync passwords but it is not working.

Why does the app force me into a new tab every time I leave the app and come back!?! Even for a moment. It’s messed up two things I’ve been working on now. How do I set it to behave like a normal browser and open to the page I was on when I left..?

My passwords do not sync from windows. I have verified they are both connected but my ios never has my desktop passwords. I have verified connected the setting is checked to copy passwords i have hit the sync shile sitting at my desktop but the passwords never are on my phone.

would like to raise my concern my curiosity regarding a recent issue I encountered. Specifically, I need to address how my IP details are being accessed, especially when using enhanced protection measures. Additionally, I am concerned about the privacy aspects of private browsing and whether unauthorized individuals can gain access to my user details legally.

Hi, all of my passwords and usernames have been deleted. When I go to the passwords section of my account all that is listed is the web addresses. The usernames and passwords are blank! HELP!

Sorry, but this feature is a PITA. Is there a way to turn it off.

I've been a firefox user for > 15 years but I won't continue to be if I have to put up with this.

You should make it so you have to opt to turn in on.

I’ve used Firefox for many years on both my pc and mobile and keep them both up to date and use sync. However recently when using the app and wish to enter my username and password with autofill, after using my phones passkey, I can find the website on my password list but the username and password are not being displayed and will not autofill to the website I am attempting to use. However, when I am using the website on my pc I have no issues at all. Even after manually entering the username on the app password list and attempt to access it again at a later time, the username and password are not being displayed or deleted. Please see attached photo as an example.

I am having an issue where my Firefox is displaying suggestions from sites I have visited only ever in private browsing mode. When I type a letter with this site, it appears as a “Firefox Suggested” search, not a Google search which I have already disabled. I have cleared my history, cleared my cache, reinstalled, done the same on all my devices, ensured I have no bookmarks or any remnants of the site visited, yet they remain visible on my phone. I am on Firefox for IOS, my IOS and Firefox are updated to the latest edition as of 04/11/2024. I am ensure what to do, as I really can’t allow this. Is there a way to turn this off, or is my only option to just switch back to Safari for the time being? Please let me know, as I need this turned off or to figure out how to clear this specific suggestion despite it being nowhere in my history, bookmarks, cache, downloads, or anywhere else.

Hi ! I´m using firefox 125.1(40778) on ios 17.4. Recently I faced a problem with the password manager of Firefox, as it doesn`t automatically fill in username and password on a site I visit on a regular basis. But when you click on the username the keyboard pops up and there I found the option to use the password manager of firefox. After re-authentification (fingerprint on my mobile) it opens the password manager and suggests the appropriate password. Clicking on it and you are in.

So the password manager still works although in a more complicated way because once you´re in the house you don´t need the door key anymore.

I keep getting the red padlock but when I tap on it it says my connection is secure and when I tap on that it shows that I’m connected to HTTPS. What’s causing this? Is my connection exposed? When i shutdown and reopen the app the red padlock goes away but I'm confused as it says 'connection is secure' either way.

Hi all, opening of external links (e.g. out of AppleMail or any other App) is no longer possible since FF version 123.0 (IPhone 6S+ mit IOS 15.8.2, FF is standard-browser). The last weeks I followed the article (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1442950) which should be fixed with version 124. Meanwhile I updated to FF version 125.2 but the issue is not solved for me yet. When I click on an external link in AppleMail or other Apps, FF starts and shows the startscreen. Then the screens "flickers" one time but nothing else happens. Because not many users are reporting this issue I think that may be a configuration set on my IPhone is the cause of this and not a bug in FF. Has anyone an idea what can be the issue and how to solve it ?

I'm now very annoyed by this issue and if I don't find a solution soon, I'll install another browser.

I found a bug in your Firefox for iPad in Version 125.2 and earlier that has been recurring. Once I establish Dark Mode in one tab, (Tab 1) via system dark mode on iPad settings and Firefox Settings, When I open a new tab,(Tab 2) it will be in Light Mode. When I switch Tab 2 to Dark Mode via Firefox settings, it will automatically switch Tab 1 into Light mode. If I switch all odd # tabs into Dark Mode, all Even # tabs will be a weird Light Mode but with the videos in screen paused in a strange negative photo view. After reading up on all websites, forums on Mac, iPad and Firefox, it seems this is a Firefox Bug. To correct this, all tabs opened in either light or dark mode should be the same mode as the new tabs opened. My iPad update has been updated to the latest version 17.4.1 iPad 9th Gen.
