I'm a regular user of Firefox Focus on Android and enjoy it very much.

I also tend to use swipe-style keyboard input on my phone and that automatically adds a space after each word that has been swiped. If I want to go to "reddit.com/r/dataisbeautiful" then the easiest way for me to type this into the URL bar with swiping results in:

   Reddit. com /r/data is beautiful

Due to the automatic space insertion at various places.

If the browser could see that this string of characters/words without spaces produces a valid URL then it could suggest that as an entry to click on beneath the URL bar.

I think this is small but useful feature. I recognise that there might be complexities that I haven't considered. As it is not specific to Firefox Focus, I'd be happy to see it in Firefox too. I realise also that it is providing special behaviour to cater to people that use swipe input and not everyone uses swipe input but at the same time it doesn't seem crazy to have for people that don't use swipe input but somehow find themselves with an accidental space in there.

One of the main reasons I switched to regular Firefox is because Chrome always let's Amazon's stupid "influencer" vids autoplay silently. Which burns through my phone's data.

The regular Firefox didn't allow them to autoplay.

I was hoping focus would not allow them to play, and stop the other ads from showing up.

But no, focus does a much worse job than regular Firefox. It doesn't stop anything else, and it allows the influencer vids to autoplay.

Amy suggestions for making Amazon stop with the ads and video ads?

My tracker count is stuck at a number since January. Is this number calculated from # of Focus visits to the same sites, or specific/ new site visits to add to the count? Should (and how can I) clear this count?

I had found the most important article for my project, got delayed before I could save it or bookmark it, and when I returned to my phone Focus had deleted my browser history. I have searched online for that article to no avail. Is there any way of recovering it, software or data recovery? Please help and thank you!

First of all, I would like to thank you for the effort you are putting in making Firefox browser better, and more secure.

After using Firefox Focus for couple of hours, I found that some of the feature I am using in the desktop browser are missing:

1. I could not find a way to create a new tab and type a new URL. 2. I can pin only four shortcuts inside Firefox.

Please let me know if there is a way to activate the "Erase" icon (bottom-right corner of the screen) from the old version on this new version of the browser.

Focus is an amazing browser. But that button was very handy.

Whenever I click the address bar, icons appear below the address bar. How do I add/remove these? I've done it before just the other day and couldn't find a guide on it

I feel like this would be a better approach to adblockinv on Firefox Focus. I love this browser but it's built-in adblocker will often block important elements by mistake, or leave out certain things. Ublock Origin is a very powerful and memory effecient adblocker already part of the main Android app. It's more intuitive to use, has lists which are constantly updated and it can block elements with an element picker. I'm suggesting for it to be used instead as I think it'd be a much better approach to adblocking on Firefox Focus. What do you think?

Could you tell me how to add more tabs/ windows, please? I’m using Ipad and it’s only could use 1 window in this browser. I tried to switch between desktop view and mobile view, but didn’t see any difference. Please refer attached screenchot. Thank you in advance.

There wasn't an option to provide feedback on Firefox Focus for Android, so I have to write here.

I am wondering if changing the position of the toolbar could be made a reality, just like how it was on Firefox for Android Beta.

first off - you're doing a wonderful job, keep on it!

Just a few suggestions which would make FF much better browser: 1. Enhance build-in adblocker that will actually work. Opera's adblocker works way better. 2. Enable opt-in function "I don't care about cookies" based on a current Firefox add-on so a user doesnt have to accept cookies all the time (if they dont care about that).

I'd love to use FF but for the reasons mentioned above, it's not really convenient for me RN. No need to reply. Thanks for your work, anyways!

In an effort to remain anonymous and not be tracked from site to site, I have decided to use Startpage as my Search Engine. When bringing this gs together, rather thst hitting the button to make Startpage my default search I think I added Startpage as my default home page. Can I change that?
