I realize Facebook doesn't have a spell check feature,but is there a way my browser, Firefox, which I already have spell check enabled can somehow spell check Facebook when I chat? Can someone help? Thank you.

Ever since doing a refresh of FF two days ago, Yahoo mail doesn't work. I'm able to log in but contacts are missing and I cannot refresh the page without getting "The page isn’t redirecting properly." To log back in I have to either shut down FF (my settings are to clear cookies on shutdown) or clear cache or history every 5 minutes. I have not changed my extensions or other FF settings I had before the refresh. I have cleared cookies, cleared cache, added yahoo to the cookie exceptions list and nothing helps.

When I try to customize the toolbar in Firefox 115.10, the browser tries to change the page to the customize toolbar / overflow toolbar page. However the page flashes on and then reverts to the normal browser page. The page showing customize toolbar/ overflow toolbar, is transient and does not last. So I can't even customize the order of the buttons on my toolbar. This wasn't a problem a few days ago before the switch to this latest version. In particular I am trying to change the position of the "home" button to the left side of the address box. I just can't bring up the customize toolbar page. I'm not talking about the position of the add-on or extension buttons...just the home button. Hope this is clear. By the way, I've even tried this in safe mode to no avail.

Hi there , I am interested to know if Mozilla support group is aware of the problem Microsoft update KB4474419 causes? I am running widows 7 sp1. I installed the update as you mentioned in your Firefox 100 release notes. After reboot , I got a beep and a black screen - win 7 won't start. I had to find a way to delete the update so I could boot my system back. I asked few of my colleagues that use the same OS and they experienced the exact same problem. Surfing the web , makes it quite clear - this update is faulty and not compatible with win 7 as Microsoft claims. I would like to get a straight answer - can I update my FF99 to FF100 , without the notorious KB4474419 , or , as of FF100 , win7 sp1 is no longer applicable to Firefox ? Thanks. look4

Despite trying to disable https mode, Firefox will not allow ordinary http sites to load. Consequently I can't access most of the Australian Bureau of Meteorology (bom.gov.au) pages or any other websites that don't use the extra 's' but are still secure. Mozilla suggested switching from Strict back to Standard but I still can't access ordinary http sites. Can anyone help, please?

I'm running 115.2.1esr x64 bit on Windows 7 pro. games on Facebook will not load I get 'Your browser does not support graphics API "WebGL2" error'.

In 'about:config' shows GL2 is enabled, yet Facebook games works with Google Chrome and MS Edge browsers, this seems to point to a Firefox issue.

I removed Firefox entirely, cleaning the registry etc, installed the latest version and get the same result.

Can anyone throw light on this? If need be I'll enclose

the troubleshooting info.

I cannot access certain email documents because my pop up is blocked. I have tried a number of searches as to where to disable the pop up for firefox but keep hitting dead ends.

I was having some issue by picking up my laptop and pressed some buttons on the right side of the keyboard. Then I saw for a second an notice screen on the right. Low in the firefox screen. But I didnt recognize what it said to me.

Now my back key doesnt work to go back on pages. It work before

So now I got an likely screen when I picked up my laptop and press down some keys

When I press the back button on the keyboard it says in an little notice window that dissapear after 3 seconds.

Use / to search on the page.

So I think I could been pressing some key combination to disable or activate how my keyboard should work in firefox.

So I wounder how to reset all settings and configurations in firefox to standard

I have this problem CONSTANTLY with 100.0. i keep 2 browsers open, (1 Email, 1 ebay) After 5-10 minutes, firefox "Loses" internet connection. and i have to clear the startup cache, to get back online, only for it to happen again... and again, and again, and again! Didnt have this issue with the previous update. PLEASE HELP! and please keep the answers simple, im not well versed in programming language

I use Firefox Developer Edition and recently I noticed a problem when watching videos on any website in full screen mode. As can be seen on the attached image, there is a weird pixelated border around the video.

I was trying to change some settings on Firefox and I accidentally closed it and lost all of my tabs. I have the setting enabled to open tabs from last browsing session, but I was messing with the extension OneTab and I lost my open tabs.

Just to be clear, it wasn't the fault of OneTab, this is was my fault for closing Firefox too quickly when it was restoring my tabs and I didn't allow it to finish.

Anyway, in attempting to recover my tabs, I have restored from backup my "sessionrestore-backups" folder; this didn't work. I have also restored my entire Mozilla folder in my profile; this also didn't work.

I also tried following this article (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-restore-browsing-session-backup), but the sessionstore.jsonlz4 file doesn't exist. I did a search for this file in my profile and it doesn't exist anywhere.

Does anyone have any ideas that may help?

Suddenly have green frame/border approx. 1 pixel wide around entire browser window, including various movies from different sites. This is a sudden development which I did not originate in any way. How can I remove this annoying green frame?

I live with Firefix always in full screen. I Don't like seeing any bars or buttons of any kind.

Befor the latest update, when I moved my mouse to the top of the screen my tabs popped down and in the top right corner was the standard icons for "minimize" "maximize" and "exit".

With the latest update the tabs are there but the 3 buttons have gone.

If I exit full screen (F11) then they are there again, but I dont want to have to exit full screen every time I change between programes which I do every few mins. I'd be popping pages in and out of full screen every few mins!

How do I get the buttons back all the time?

Everytime I try to do a search in Firefox I get a Manuals Library page come up. Why is it doing this? I did a search not long ago for a user's manual for a product, and I guess I accidentally downloaded this Manuals Library. Now I have no idea how to get rid of it. There is no shortcut on my desktop for it, I cannot find it anywhere in my downloaded programs in Uninstall or Change a Program in my Control Box. I DO NOT want this program! Help please!! I tried to do a screen shot of the page, but your browse won't pick it up when I browse for the screen shot I saved on my desktop. Below is the web address copied from the address bar.

I have the latest FF browser. I'm not using any proxy service, just spectrum connection. when i try to access my credit union account, i get this message

"Error: "WWF2TUh4dnM=" - You're using an outdated browser or are using a Proxy service which is unsupported. Please update your browser or turn off your Proxy to continue, thank you."

how can i get past this? All help appreciated!

i had a problem with my java on my windows 7-- 64 bit computer i put a a 64 bit java and put in the websites URL THE SECURITY ON THE JAVA problem was set on low when i go to the web site ( k3fef sdr the web site tell me i do not have the JAVA program and will not open up any ideas thank you gregory oidar7295@optimum.net

Firefox is notoriously adept when it comes to browser/user protection, (THANK YOU!!!!!!!!). Are there any plans to include protection against homograph/homoglyph attacks please? I think the simplest way would be to just search the URL for any characters that are not part of the current/usual typeset?

Long-time problem: Running Firefox 115.6.0esr (64-bit) on Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (64-bit). Viewing "CNN live" in one tab. Mutes if I open any another app/window [Login to website #1 [CNN live] and view/listen...Open anything else; CNN mutes] (Note- This happens in both Firefox and Chrome) Any ideas/suggestions for how to avoid this behavior? Ever since Facebook started infesting the chats with end-to-end encryption (random chats get "Messenger upgraded the security of this chat. Messages and calls are secured with end-to-end encryption" without my permission or asking if I want this), any encrypted chats have audio and video calls disabled. I note that I have ONE friend for whom it didn't do this, I can still do calls with her. If I receive a call, I get a pop-up saying that to receive this call I must download the Messenger app (no way) or a browser which supports it. If I check what browsers it thinks supports this, it only lists Chrome and Edge. As far as I know Edge is just Internet Explorer renamed, the biggest black hole in security, I've never touched it. Chrome ignores industry standards, so I don't use it. Making Firefox the best, top browser available. It's the only browser I wish to use. Mozilla needs to look into how to get Facebook to stop blacklisting Firefox like this. Note that this E2EE garbage has only been infecting things for the last few months, before that I was perfectly able to do any calls I wished in Facebook Messenger.
