recent firefox update can no longer copy and paste when creating a blog post in Squarespace, I have been using squarespace for around 15 years for my websites and I have never seen this issue, Firefox 15.1 installed and all of a sudden when trying to create a blog post in Squarespace, when I right click a text box pop up and it no longer says paste so I can no longer copy and paste text - this is more than a little annoying, you will not be surprised to know that I am now using Chrome to create my posts, there is no issue in chrome. I am a firefox geek! how can i solve this problem, I just did another update from Firefox, the issue remains I have been using computers for 40 year so I am not a novice but software glitches, I am lost

I've been having this problem for a wee while when I'm browsing facebook (which works better in Chrome) the site on firefox and as well as messenger is really laggy and I'm wondering if there is a hidden setting that I should change to improve this?

I only have adblock addon installed and I cleaned out the history and browser cookies ect but the problem still remains.

This was working just fine up until 2 days ago. As the title says, when I close firefox, it is now no longer restoring my tabs from my previous session. Closing via the x does not give me the option to restore my previous session.

I have:

Tried unchecking the box, closing firefox, opening it again and rechecking the box. No success.

Uninstalled firefox, restarted my computer, and reinstalled firefox. Still no success.

I am open to further suggestions.

For last 2 days, whenever I open a new tab it takes ages to load. I've tried troubleshoot mode and refreshed Firefox but this hasn't worked. Internet connection is healthy, no problems with other browsers

Hello, a recurring problem that's been bothering me for several months is driving me crazy, causing me to use Firefox less and less.

I regularly get the dreaded message "Error: Platform version xxx is not compatible with xxxx," which seems to have been around for years and still hasn't been fixed. Rebooting, reinstalling, or repairing the installation with every automatic update isn't a solution; it's just a nuisance.

Hello, I can't log in to Facebook, only through Firefox, and that's the problem. Edge and Chrome work fine. I've already deleted cookies and temporary files, and still nothing. This problem has been occurring for a while.

Hi, I use Firefox all of the time, and I noticed that the wallpapers were given an update of more choices for the user.

That's good and all, but I began thinking about the widgets that are optional when customizing your default Firefox home/new tab. Weather, shortcuts, and stories. All very simple, rudimentary uses, but nothing for fun, like, say, a little Firefox fox that can live at the bottom of your home browser!

Like something akin to a Pou or a Tamagotchi, With food and water on one side of the bottom of your home, bed in the middle, and a little hamster wheel for it to run on. You could click on it and it plays a little animation, or you can click and drag it to either activity previously mentioned and watch it interact.

I just think it'd be fun to have a more "silly" widget for customization on our home pages, while being entirely toggle-able like the other additions.

recently for no apparent reason, Firefox is having extreme difficulty loading sites, with the spinning wheel going on for minutes at a time. It seems to happen with any website, but not with other browers. I have checked for malware with 3 different programs, and disabled the vpn. Other suggestions online seem to be 'for experienced users only', which does not include me. What should I do. Do I need to delete and reinstall Firefox? thanks.

My mouse is setup so that the tilt wheel does Ctrl+Tab and Ctrl+Shift+Tab rather then whatever actions the tilt wheel would normally send, and that has worked fine for years, but now all of a sudden it is not working in Firefox, it's changing the zoom level instead which is not what I want. Firefox must be reading the mouse directly or something, because it shouldn't even be getting normal tilt wheel events.

I have recently installed Firefox on a new Laptop computer and on startup of Firefox the first page typically shows in the middle 7 or so icons for various accounts or processes, some of which are accounts I have recently accessed. BUT some of them are foreign ie. I have not used or accessed. AND it seems that some accounts/processes that I have & frequently used are NOT shown. How can I manage it so that my REAL FAVOURITES appear?

before v151.0.2, didn't have a problem with firefox, now with this new release, it is really really slow, takes some time to start and load pages. what happened??

Each time I open Fire Fox, the window in NOT FULL ... I need to select the either F11 or the diagonal with arrow endpoints.

Surely there is a default settings that opens Fire Fox to full window allowing selection of website icons.

On a random basis, sites like msn.com, yahoo mail or outlook.com will freeze. Sometimes they may suddenly come back to life, but the normal fix is delete tab and restart tab. Long videos may also freeze. Have cleared history, and changed optimization setting but nothing helps. On 151.0.2 64 bit.

I am having trouble with the leftmost column on several sites. In yahoo email, I want to see my sidebar(?) that shows my folders etc. Even though the double-arrow symbol appears, it will not let me make that column narrower. It takes up much more room than necessary and prevents me from seeing things at the right edge. Now a parallel problem is occuring on the Zillow website. They have a column on the far left that is suddenly 4 times as wide as before, and it won't let me adjust it. I can't see the important info in the other columns. In both cases when I try to zoom out, instead of any change in the columns' respective widths, it just makes the print smaller. What can I do?

After most recent Windows 11 and Firefox updates, Firefox will not open on my PC. I thought I had managed to Refresh it today Troubleshooting Mode - got a "Success" message - but that message was overlaid with a box that wanted me to agree to terms and conditions, etc. and when I clicked the Continue button, nothing happened. So I had to close what little of Firefox was on my screen; got the Not Responding message, then the Close or Wait message (waiting is useless), so I hit Close and the error was again reported to Windows (big whoop). Should I uninstall Firefox and start over???? I have no clue how to save all my bookmarks and associated passwords.

This is true particularly with ChatGPT and Claude, but has happened on other tabs in the past couple of days. When I am on a different tab, and I click on a "problem" tab to view that content- it duplicates the tab instantly. If I click on "x" to close it, it duplicates again. I can close with Ctrl-W. It seems like certain tabs are "magic" tabs, because sometimes I can click the "x" to close a duplicate tab without issue. But when I go back to the original problem tab- the behavior persists. I don't really want to purge the cache for these sites, but I will if I have to. I had installed a new extension (TamperMonkey) a few weeks ago, but everything seemed fine until a couple days ago. I disabled that extension yesterday, but the problem persists. This problem existed before the latest Firefox update. I went to check the previous version number before posting (I update frequently) and it updated today.
