I am trying to sign into my Firefox account , I receive the "Firefox Account authorization code" email, I type in the code and I get "incorrect password"

Firefox is my default browser and I cannot download any attachments in my Yahoo email. I tries to sign into my Firefox account but it would not accept my password. I tried 3 times to do a password reset but I never received a reply to my email address. My email address is: ************@yahoo.co.uk. I had followed the Firefox help suggestions to fix my problem of being unable to open attachments of any format in my yahoo mail and cleared all of the Firefox Cache and Cookies. A blue folder appeared on my MacBook Pro laptop called "Old Firefox Data". Since this did not fix my inability to open any attachments in my Yahoo Mail (New Mail and not Classic or Yahoo Pro), I need help on what I should do. How do I return to my Old Firefox Data and Settings, fix my problem of being unable to open up attachments in my Yahoo Email and fix the problem of Firefox not accepting my account password or not sending me a link to do this? I do not know how to proceed and it appears that many of my settings are changed or gone. Even my default opening page of: https://uk.yahoo.com/ has gone. What do I do to resolve all of these issues. "This email address is not in our system. Please double check your address."

The email address is a standard Earthlink.net one, and I have checked all folders, including Spam. I'm actively sending and receiving messages, so there's nothing wrong with that account.
Since you give a non-email address to add to my Thunderbird address book, I dug though dozens of other answers until I found something that might work. You state in one answer, "Try adding accounts.firefox.com to your list of allowed senders to keep your email provider from blocking the email". Proofreading?

I used my correct email and you have not responded. I double checked my email account and it is working. Something is really wrong with your login page or my account.
I'm also trying to set my folders to yellow or beige because the new gray ones get lost in the type. That's something you really need to remedy. People (me included) shouldn't have to search for their folders. Please fix this. Not an improvement.
