I saw my friend's Firefox beta which did not had any option to disable JavaScript . is it some where else or the option is removed ? If it is removed i should look for alternative browser until it comes to stable version of Firefox and leave Firefox for ever.

1. Cursor will not go into the message field in Outlook! Cannot write a message for the last 2 days  :( I can enter the address to send to. Cursor appears in subject line, so I can write subject. How can I get cursor into the message field? It was working until 2 days ago. Please help! THANK YOU!

2. less urgent problem: playing videos on YouTube, visual stops/stalls often but audio continues. This happens on many videos.

Hi Friends, In the Edit Settings part of my user controls, I've unchecked all the "watch" options. But I still get an email every time there's a reply to any topic I've started.

How can I make this stop globally?

I know there's a place to click to stop the emails on each topic. But it would be nice if it could be done globally.

I'm not sure what the reasoning is, for this kind of arrangement. But it seems to me like it would work better if members had the option to opt IN to notifications, once in a while when they need it; rather than opt out almost all the time.

Two tabs always open. 1 with my homepage and one with the FF default page. This is so irritating that I seldom use the Firefox browser even though its faster that IE.

I can't find any option of reloading / refreshing a web page in the drop down menus. I read in a forum someone talking about the 'Reload Button', but I don't know where to find it! Thanks for any help offered!

I use a MacBook Pro with MacOS 10.11 and the latest version of FireFox (72.0.2) and I'm unable to figure out how to bring up the Context menu. With previous versions of FireFox. I could hold down the Control key and click a tab and that would bring up the Context menu. But with the latest versions of FireFox, that option is no longer available.

I suppose if I bought a two-button mouse, I could bring up the Context menu with the right button, but you should be able to bring up the Context menu with the trackpad that come with Apple's MacBook Pro.

So how do you bring up the Context menu on an Apple MacBook Pro?

I'm accustomed to seeing a "-" in the upper right corner of the page....but there's not a "-" there...or anywhere. So how do I minimize a webpage ?

Gotta be a simple trick, but I can't figure it out.

It used to be a part of DuckDuckGo, but they removed it. I'm not clear on why they took it down, but I assume they had a good reason.

Can I add as JavaScript to the settings in Firefox?

my windows7 taskbar: 11+ replicate FF windows w-multiple tabs each is normal use for me. restart FF puts them in new order L to R i can deal with that but would like to be able to restart with these icons staying in the 'same places' because i'm getting old and cranky and forget where i put things more often now.

they're all up there on the taskbar OK but in a different order each time i restart FF. i don't recall locating a Topic similar, or seeing a likely category from Options.

i'm not in a Rush, but have found FF help questions successfully answered in the past. thanks for helping.

I've always love the fact that I could move all the tool bars and addy bar to the bottom of the window. First this it was a menu item, no it's broken. Then an addon, now it's broken. Then it was the .css file, now it's broken with 66. How do I go about moving everything back to the bottom of the window? Why can't Mozilla relize that a lot of their users love the customizing of where the tools and how the layout is done and stop breaking it??? Why can't we have the old drag and drop customizing back?

I'm using Firefox Beta on a slow laptop in Linux -so, manually changing videos to 360p from the cog works to make them play smoothly. The facebook SD Only setting in https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=videos doesn't really work -only in a few videos. If anyone knows of an extension that handles this on latest Firefox Beta let me know. Thank you.

I work alot on Mozilla and at times, I forget to take backup of Firefox. Chrome has a feature with its Google ID which restores "Everything"

Does Firefox provide any feature anything like this.

about:config defaults to Yahoo as the default search engine, SCREW YAHOO, I want GOOGLE as the default everything. Why can I not modify it to Google instead of Yahoo?

Hello, I am a bit of a tinkerer and a tech junkie. However, I still find sync to be a very useful and handy tool, and have it applied to all of my devices (tablets, phone, multiple computers). Due to my never-ending quest to make things better, though, I am frequently changing OS'es and uninstalling apps/rearranging registries on many of these devices, so I often find myself needing to reinstall firefox (and thus re-sync).

The only problem here is that sync recognizes each new iteration as its own separate device, even though a vast majority of them cease to exist entirely and are gone forever. This makes my "Tabs From Other Devices" page a huge pain to access, as most of the device names are the same and a lot still have active pages in them.

How would I go about deleting these old accounts from my sync account? Changing my password does no good at all, as since the devices cannot access the server any longer they are still present in my database, and as such are still annoying. Any help is appreciated!

Hello Everyone, I have opera as a backup browser only, but i had to reinstall firefox and after i did i noticed when i went to my desktop icon to see the video of the weather, it opened in opera, i want it to open in firefox like i use to have it open. any suggestions, Thank You

Some eighteen months ago I asked you how to make the scroll bars wider in Outlook. But at the time I was using Windows 7 and I cannot find your answer in my saved emails.

Now I am using Windows 10 and I would again like to widen the scroll bars in Outlook.com my email account.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Please remember I am old and not at all computer savvy and would be so grateful for a slow and easy to follow method.
