My browser just updated to version 100.0 and now there's a big white block at the top that blocks access to tabs and the Minimize/Maximize/Close buttons at the top.

I found a few other articles going back to 2015 with this same issue and the only solution that helped a tiny bit was checking or unchecking the Title Bar box. Unchecking it helps a little bit as you can see in the attached screenshot.

The top of the image is with the Title Bar box checked, the bottom of the image is with that box unchecked.

Any idea how to resolve this?

I've recently made the switch to Firefox coming from Opera, and there's a few behaviours I'm missing / haven't figured out how to set up to match what I'm used to. Could someone point me in the right direction?

1) When I click an external link (e.g. in Discord) to open in browser (Firefox is now default), it opens the link but it overrides the currently selected tab rather than opening a new tab.

2) Following on from that, clicking the link also doesn't make Firefox the active window. Previously if I opened a new link from elsewhere, the other browser would come to the front. Can Firefox do that too?

I currently have it set so that opening a link in a new tab doesn't switch to that tab. Which is behaviour I want (if I'm doing that in Firefox itself).

My laptop had to do a restart and I have about 10 pinned tabs and I went to open firefox and they are all gone. I've tried to do the restore session but they aren't popping back up. How do I get them back???

I use FF with the setting on start to restore the tabs of the last session.

Now I need a specific tab active/focused on start. (It is a WebRTC for our phone system and if it not focused at start ring tone will not be played)

Is there a way to start with my last opened tabs restored but this specific tab active and in selected/focused.

Pinning this tab seems to load it but WILL not play a ringtone without clicked first. If I end FF with this tab active and therefore the tab is active on next start the ring tone will be played.

But knowing me I WILL forget to click on this tab either on start or before ending FF.

I have a lot of tabs open. I like it that way, but if I close a tab the "hidden tabs" feature gets activated. And all the tabs go away. It isn't a huge issue it is just very annoying. How can I disable this annoying feature?

I am wondering if it is at all possible to adjust the settings when pulling a tab into a new window. For example, if I am running Firefox fullscreen I would like the tab that I pull to be opened in windowed form. I noticed that this is typically the case when using Chromium-based browsers, but noticed that on Firefox it stays in the format as the previous window. (if already windowed the pulled tab will also be windowed) is there a way to ensure that the pulled tab will always be windowed?

When FF on my Windows 10 machine crashed FF asked if I wanted to refresh FF. I said yes, and FF reopened as usual with all my tabs. After I closed and reopened FF the next time, it reopened without any of my tabs. I then discovered that FF had unchecked the “Startup Open previous windows and tabs” box, which I had previously religiously monitored to be sure it was checked. So I lost all my previous tabs.

In my sessionstore-backups folder I found the file upgrade.jsonlz4-20 as last in a list of three more recent file names. I then dropped the file upgrade.jsonlz4-20 in the scrounger tool on this site: https://www.jeffersonscher.com/ffu/scrounger.html. It expanded in the big window, and when I clicked on Save uncompressed JSON as text, I see all the URLs run together in a text file.

How can I use this information to recover my tabs, please? If so, how? Or is there a better way to use the Scrounger – or another – tool?

Otherwise if I delete the three more recent file names in the list above the upgrade.jsonlz4-20 file, and restart FF will I recover the missing tabs? If so would I the check or uncheck the Startup Open previous windows and tabs box?

Lastly, can I restore my missing tabs using Windows’ “System restore” tool from 3 days before the crash?

I'm having an issue every few months, where I usually keep Firefox open with 10 or so tabs as pinned and sometimes I open a new window for something else on another monitor. When closing the PC, I generally close on my main monitor and forget about the new window, so I lost all tabs. Because I use Open previous windows and tabs. How can I recover the window with my tabs without having to always go into sessionstore-backups folder and restore manually with the scrounger from the recovery file?

"When you open a link, image or media in a new tab, switch to it immediately" is happening - even though the box is unchecked. Only in favorites bar, not in web page or Firefox homepage Shortcuts (1 row or 2 rows) or Recent activity.

It's very irritating, so i hope there is a solution...?

Starting about 13:00 Thursday 06/02 multiple (100+) search tabs for items on E-Bay listed 24 hours prior randomly result in an error page with a child with an orange hoodie saying: "We looked everywhere. Looks like this page is missing. If you still need help, visit our help pages."

Entering the error title on a successful title search does result in a successful search the tab for which can then replace the tab which resulted in the error page.

There can be zero results, or many results, I do not see a pattern with this as to if there were results or not.

This would be happening about 5% of the time, however considering how time consuming recreating hundreds of searches would.....

E-Bays says transfer Firefox tabs to Gmail and see if problem persists.

They said no one else has reported this.

Any ideas.

No recent changes to computer, or Firefox. Windows 10.

I use google meet a lot. I need to screen my screen very often. i have used other web browsers which let to share a singe tab in the meet, but in firefox, can only get the option for either a window or an entire screen which is very inconvenient. I have lost my tabs after accidentally clicking top right hand cross and now can't all my 30 tabs back, very frustrating! This the one that keeps coming back which is not the page I want.

For the third time with a broken arm! I set up my home page and tabs for work, banking etc. Last 2 days after I have closed down the night before, all my tabs are gone. I can't spend half a day setting them all up again only to have them, disappear again. Please find my tabs and restore them so I can continue my work.

When i try to log into my banking at anz.com.au Login i always get "Your Tab just Crashed " Just tried a tastingaustralia.com.au and a tab that says "explore winter series" i get the same Your tab just crashed The banking login has been like this for weeks If i log in using Edge it works fine Whats wrong with Firefox  ??
