I started using the new "Profiles" feature in firefox, and I created profiles one one device. However I am finding that the profiles are not syncing across my devices. Both are Windows 11 VMs, I tried doing manual syncs, singed out and back in to both devices. But the Profiles I create on each just do not seem to sync, is this the expected behavior ?

Hi! I recently lost my old laptop and I'm trying to setup my new laptop without a backup. I was logged into my mozilla account on my old browser before I lost it, but I'm not seeing any of my old tabs, bookmarks, and extensions from my old browser syncing to my new browser. Is there anything I can do to retrieve this data without having access to my old laptop? Thank to anyone who can help!

what happened:

1: my pc is broken, then I got new system and hdd. 2: I download firefox and login. 3: Press Sync now and nothing happen.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME ?

What I want:

I want my bookmark back.

I used firefox soo many years.

PLS tell me I can take it back.

After the latest Firefox update (ref d58ebe), my bookmarks and saved passwords are not syncing. Tried signing out and back in.

I have a desktop and a laptop on firefox. I am selling my laptop so i cleared history and deleted all bookmark history.

To my horror, even though i remember i have signed out of mozilla account on the laptop firefox, on my desktop firefox all the bookmarks including bookmark folders are gone. Thankfully, i have a fairly recent backup of firefox userprofile file so i restored them.

However, to my horror once more time, I realize now firefox sync automatically deletes my bookmarks everytime it syncs so i have to turn it off.

How can i make firefox sync to treat my current bookmarks as the latest and stop deleting them?

Hello! I try so transport my tabs in Firefox to a new PC. Therefor I try to login, to be loged in I need an email with an code (6 numbers) But this email isn´t sent. I didn´t get it, or much to late. What can I do? Thanks for your help, best regards Kurt Füchtler

I use an iMac (2019) and MacBook (2015) but my tabs aren't syncing between the two.

I've refreshed the syncing a few times but the MacBook is still showing two lots of tabs for the iMac, and both of them are showing pages that are no longer open.

I'd really like to be able to move between the two so if anyone has any suggestions on how to get FireFox to sync, I'd be really grateful. :-)

I've recently made the move to Windows 11, and since then I've been having loads of issues with firefox hanging and crashing. I've been able to correct the issue for about a week at a time by clearing my startup cache, but I did so incorrectly recently and it corrupted my profile, resulting in the need to create a new default one.

I'm able to launch firefox okay now, but when I try to sync my bookmarks and settings, firefox freezes every time immediately upon login. Is there a way I can sync my settings without using the firefox UI in order to circumvent the crashing issues present in the UI?

Hello. I reinstalled my computer and downloaded Mozilla again. How can I find out what profile I was using before the reinstallation, because nothing has been synchronized in my pana@mail.bg profile at the moment?

After the latest Firefox update (ref 02fc63), my bookmarks and saved passwords are not syncing. Tried signing out and back in.

I tried linking my unlinked profile to my email, I made a typographical error there and when I tried to undo it, Mozilla says this profile is already linked to that email. Mind you, I have not even entered a password or verified that email address yet. I cannot even remove that email from the profile now, even if I do and try to re-sign, the accounts page says I am already synced to the typo email.

I reinstalled the operating system, so to speak, changed my device. I clicked the sync button and it worked. I reinstalled the operating system and reinstalled the browser. I logged in, nothing happened. I rebooted, nothing changed. I clicked sync, everything was the same. Where are my bookmarks and passwords?

Hi all, Starting at the weekend or end of last week I think, when I send tabs to another device when that device is switched off then when I open Firefox on the other device, the sent tabs are loaded in private browsing windows, not the main window with my saved tabs in. Sometimes all sent tabs arrive in one private browsing window, sometimes in one private browsing window for each tab. As I can't drag private tabs into the main window this is really annoying! How can I stop this happening please? Cheers :)

After the latest Firefox update (ref daa108), my bookmarks and saved passwords are not syncing. Tried signing out and back in.

Firefox was somehow reset after windows update restart. I was trying to sign in to sync, but sign in button gets blurred/disabled, and nothing happens then. I am afraid that I lost my previous session also.

I was trying troubleshooting mode too, but behavior is the same.

Otherwise I can login to my Firefox account web, and I am logged in on my smart phone still.
