I am having an issue where my browser does not show the webpage title or website name when it returns results. I haven't changed anything about my browser recently and I'm really unsure of what is going on. Any advice to fix this would be appreciated.

Since the last update, Firefox is not working properly. The search engine is completely dead, not working at all, and anything related to Google, like Gmail, never opens. I've tried several things, but nothing works.

I have the latest Firefox installed on Linux Mint. But in Firefox privacy settings there is no longer a way to choose browsers. It just says "Firefox is currently your default browser". But every time I do a search, it automatically search with Google. That never never happened until I installed latest Firefox. If Firefox is forcing me to use Google, that why do I need Firefox?? Please explain?

It is very annoying that you suddenly change the way most users got used to searching in Firefox. I am not the only one who complains about this particular and sudden change, after updating Firefox. Please reinstate the central search bar of Firefox asap. It makes one wonder what else you might think of changing with the next Firefox update! At least give the users of Firefox a previous notice of what changes come with every update. I am thinking very seriously of dropping Firefox and use Brave, if the problem is not solved asap. One of your staff mentioned that this problem would have been solved by 10th March. Till this very moment nothing has happened!! This is not a thread but a serious complaint. I have been using Firefox for a long long time. I would like to be able to use it provided I can use it the way I am used it.

After I upgraded to v137 and now on v138 I do not have the new search enhancements made to the address bar. Only a new profile will get me the enhancements. I'd rather not have to create a new profile and add all my changes and add-ons all over again. It's a real PITA. Is there any 'trick' I can try to get the new enhancements?

I can't use Google search, Java not running yet it was the other day, I have 'Open264' plug-in, in 'about-config' Javascript.enabled is set to 'true'- I tried toggle it and re-booted but still same.

Then, I tried in browser 'safe-mode', lo and behold that solved the problem.... why is this? What I didn't mention is before doing all this I tried Java script and that work OK.... but not Google search.

I wanted to set keywords for search engines (in order to quickly change them for a single query). This cannot be done for search engines by default (why?), so I had to delete them and create a new one with the same link and my own keywords. But now I can't give them the same name back, firefox says that such a search engine already exists. In general, it doesn't matter to me which letter is there. The main purpose of my appeal is to draw attention to the fact that search engines cannot be edited by default, because it is quite inconvenient. I have disabled all the other search settings in order to get rid of this field years ago. Now, suddenly it starts to show up again. I go to the settings, somehow it has all renabled itself, so I disable it. And yet, it STILL shows up with no content in it. How do I remove this?

I switched my default search engine from Google to Bing. As you can see in the attached screenshot, it should be searching with Bing. But for some reason the search results are always Google. How do I fix this? I haven't refreshed Firefox yet. I was hoping to avoid that.

The latest version of Firefox appears to have updated a setting: When selecting a custom search engine in the address bar or search box, you now need to click the mouse three times (click the dropdown button on the left side of the box - select search engine - search); previously, after entering search terms in the search box, you only needed to move the mouse icon below the box to automatically display all search engines, and then click the desired engine to search directly, thus completing the search with just one click.

The old setting was very convenient; while the new setting forces me to click several times every time I want to search for a term in the search bar.

I hope the support team will address and improve this issue.

Apologies for not being able to follow instructions. I went to settings/search/default search engine and selected the one I want in the dropdown. But I don't see how to save this change and now it defaults to Bing.

I have only two installed - Google and it's copy, with a modified search query so that there is no result from AI. But periodically I notice that something has installed some other search engines. Yesterday I got a search engine that plants trees and today Amazon. I delete them, but sometimes they (or some other) appear again. I can't imagine that it was me, who accidentally installed them in a hurry (when I need to quickly find something on Google).

Hi, I wonder why the "m"-function isn't working anymore. For example, when I stream movies, I often use the “m” key to mute the sound. Recently, the search function has started appearing at the bottom as well. Is there a way to turn off this new function? If I want to search something I'd like to press buttons Shift + f as before.
