While editing a Wordpress blogpost in HTML, the cursor does not appear, either as blinking or otherwise. Resultantly, I cannot edit a post. The editing I intend cannot be done in visual settings.

Apparently, his problem was specific to Firefox , as the problem disappeared as he switched to Chrome. My similar problem disappears as I switch to Microsoft Edge.

Why when you click on the extensions button (jigsaw puzzle icon) in the toolbar to open the extensions panel the “Personalize Your Firefox” screen appears ???

When you right click a gear icon in a particular extension, the drop down menu has no "pin to tool bar" option, it only shows "copy/select all/print..." options ???

Recently (last two FF versions), when updating as a non-admin Mac OS 15 user, there has been an issue with the PrivilegedHelperTool - a tool that allows non-admin users to provide an admin password and update files in /Applications. The Helper Tool accepted the password but then closed. Starting Firefox will only bring the Helper Tool (admin login) back again, making it impossible to run Firefox under this user. The admin user was not affected. The solution was to reinstall Firefox. I had to remove my profile files in Library/Application Support and restart a few times until I could regain Firefox. I have seen issues with the Privileged Helper Tool with another app, sometimes even corrupting the update. I hope this helps other people to address this and that the issue is resolved in future versions.

For some time now, firefox literally has NO horizontal scrollbar, even on sites when it is clearly needed.

How do I make it visible? Is it a Windows 10 & 11 thing?

Also, before anyone suggests it, several posts online mention to go to Settings > General > Browsing > Always show scrollbars. These posts are over a year old, however, and this option DOES NOT exist.

I have my business emails set up on FireFox. Whenever my Windows updates during the night causing my PC to restart I lose all of my connectivity settings on FireFox. Whenever I attempt to login to sites I have already established connections for, the site sees me as having a new PC and I have to start all over with the inputting of login credentials. What in my settings can be modified to stop this from happening.

In my Task Manager, it shows 19 Firefox apps open?? I only have to Tabs open.

Hi, I've been receiving the following rejection message as follows: jino.ru rejected your message to the following email addresses:

postmaster@pop3-server-spam.org The address you sent your message to wasn't found at the destination domain. It might be misspelled or it might not exist. Try to fix the problem by doing one or more of the following:

   Send the message again, but before you do, delete and retype the address. If your email program automatically suggests an address to use, don't select it.
   Clear the recipient AutoComplete cache in your email program by following the steps in this article: Status code 5.1.1. Then resend the message, but before you do, be sure to delete and retype the address.
   Contact the recipient by some other means (by phone, for example) to confirm you're using the right address. Ask them if they've set up an email forwarding rule that could be forwarding your message to an incorrect address.

The sender of the email gets those message. I get them also but I'm also getting the message that they send me. It's only doing it with my outlook account. Why is that? I checked it directly on the Outlook website and everything is OK. I can't understand why this is happening.

My linux system no longer has pulseaudio installed (for reasons unrelated to firefox).

The --enable-alsa option is not rejected by firefox but doesn't work either. The only way to get audio from firefox in this install is through the apulse wrapper:

    apulse firefox ...

Note that chrome browsers have no problem with audio when pulseaudio is not installed.

Is the --enable-alsa in firefox supposed to work?

When Firefox is on, and I shut down or reboot my PC directly without closing Firefox, it shows a problem. When I click the restore session or start new session' option, it takes some time to load the webpage. Sometimes, it takes 3-4 minutes to establish a connection. After resetting all data from Firefox, it fixes, but then it gets slow from time to time again. However, it is a problem to reset all the data regularly.

In the "comments" section of a Yahoo article, a notification will appear that someone has replied to a comment I submitted previously. By clicking on that notification you are supposed to be returned to that article and directly to my comment and the subsequent replies to it. Firefox is returning me to the articles' comment section but not to my specific comment and any added replies.

Microsoft Edge DOES send me back to my specific comment. I cannot find anything in the settings for Firefox that would control this.

Firefox does not properly install icons to the home page shortcuts. Where are these stored so I can manually add the proper icons, or, is there another way to reliably install the proper icons? Some urls pick up the proper icon on their own, many do not. This is irritating. The email me checkbox at the bottom of this page is non functional.

Hi....all of a sudden my firefox browser is not working. My home page will load in. But if I try to search for something all I get is a blank white screen. Can anyone help me out. I thought if I uninstalled it and then reinstall that might fix the problem. But I cannot find a way to uninstall it. Would appreciate anyone's help...Regards, Richard

I am using Firefox as my default browser and today I find out that, as I was using Google ads to set up a campaign, and trying to see previews of my ads, Firefox was strongly lagging or sometimes I had to force it to close. Afterwards I used safari and everything was ok. It is useful to mention that I had dis-activated the ad blocker on Firefox. I use 136.0.2 edition and Mac 15.3.2.

My Gmail always looks really weird in Firefox. I've messed with display and contrast settings and nothing's really fixed it. There's just these weird rectangles overlaying each other in different shades of gray across my inbox and they're hard to look at. I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this or how to fix this. I've attached a small screenshot with my emails crossed out for some semblance of privacy.
