Is there an "about:config" option that will allow me to *completely* disable Firefox's blocking of Flash? Every site I use uses Flash, and since I have to clear all cookies and website data regularly, I *always* have to click on *TWO* annoying pop-up boxes where I have to say "Allow Flash". I need to disable this obscene annoyance, and just use Flash. I will risk the steganographic payloads, etc, etc. Is there some kind of option in the "about:config" parameters that can let me disable the auto-block of Flash? I need Flash to "just work". Recently one website that is critical to me, has started using an annoying spinning circle, which is Javascript+flash generated, and access to the website is blocked, if the stupid flash-driven spinning circle throbber is not allowed. There is too much gunk in Firefox now, but I need Flash to "just work" - no more nonsense. Do I have any other options to achieve this, other than downloading the source code, and building my own custom version of Firefox? I'd rather avoid that if possible (as I am doing something like this now, on another project - but for an emulator, not a browser.) Please only respond to this request if you can actually provide an answer. No lectures please - just answer, if possible. Thank-you.

I reset the password to my Sync account after my laptop was stolen, on a new laptop that I was setting up. Of course this deleted the data on the server (why?). This data is still on my mobile phone, however, and I'd like to save as much as I can (Android OS). Is there a way to save my sync data from my phone without manually recreating my previous Firefox experience?

It runs fine in safe mode, but I have when I run it normally, with no addons, it is drastically slow. When typing fast in the youtube search box, random characters appear instead of what I typed.

I thought it was an addon at first, and removed them all. However, I still have an issue. I shared data of my browser, but I am currently writing this in safe mode. I'm not sure if that affects it.

So Mozilla is following the Microsoft way now? I sign in, i need a verification email every time and now i am lock out solely because of a bunch of interns who cant do nothing right, Mozilla Firefox? more like Microsoft Firefox you posers.

The error message is as follows: "A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue."

It doesn't matter how you respond, the only way to clear the lock up is using the Task Manager to end Firefox.

I have cleared the Firefox cache and cookies, but the problem still happens.

I couldn't log in to a usual account and when I checked my saved log ins and passwords I found an unauthorized change to a user name and password I didnt recognize. The most recent was on 11/2/2016. I dont know what to do, I use sync and it's on several computers .

I have been so frustrated for months. My printer setting will not stay in firefox. I use a Star TSP 700II printer and normally have zero problems. I constantly have to go into the about:config and reset my footers, headers, etc so that these will not print.

Also the size of my receipts for my store will just shrink and I can not change them. At first I thought it was Malware but now I am not sure. I have read and read and sometime it will fix but then it goes back to being tiny or the header and footer shows up again. And we change nothing.

I updated Firefox and Flash earlier this evening. Firefox told me I still needed to update Flash so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. It still gave me a request to update it and a lnk to the same site I had just used to update flash. Please help me understand why this is happening. No solicitations and please do not send me to a malware ridden site.

I used to have no problems using the 'ask to activate' option to access Flash content. However Firefox 46.0 seems to ignore this default preference and to load with Shockwave Flash disabled as a default. Trying to enable it again is extremely hit and miss (sometimes possible, sometimes not). My Flash version is up to date and I have tested it with a variety of sites that were problem-free using previous version of Firefox.

Hey! Weird problem:

I could not login via google, facebook or similar accounts on websites that support it. So I tried disabling all extensions and restarted FF without any luck. I then tried Safe Mode and it gets the job done but when I reset/refresh FF and get the extensions I wanted back it does not work again even if they are all disabled!

any insight on that? is there like a hidden extension that blocks it? I'm on the latest FF for Mac (el cap)! thanks, your input would be highly appreciated!

flash plugin and shockwave player plugin is no working properly and not even updating,online installer of adobe flash player is also unable to solve the problem,so i need either both of the plugin file or the offline installer of latest flash player NPAPI version,

The left menu has black background with blue text. It should have a white background. Yahoo mail has font clarity problems that are sometimes fixed by refreshing the page. The default theme is used, Firefox has been uninstalled and reinstalled.

We have created video recording feature using getUserMedia and Mediarecorder API.This is working fine so far till Mozilla Firefox version 47. But with recently version 48 is released, and in that we started facing sever issue.

Issue is : Video works fine but Audio is lost after few seconds say 20-30 second. So as an output we have recorded video without audio. This has impacted our client’s business severely. So we need your help in resolving this issue.

Please let us know what more inputs are needed. We want to resolve this issue as quickly as possible

What did we do:

1. Using getUserMedia to get webcam and mic stream.

2. Take stream from step 1 and pass to MediaRecorder API for recording video.

3. Displaying recorded video.

I have a desktop shortcut for FireFox (which works with double-click) in my new Windows 10 laptop, but it won't let me move it into the taskbar for quick launch. Every time I drag it I get a 'no entry' prohibition sign when it reaches the taskbar. Can any user help me here?

It used to always have the green padlock showing when I go into my account but now it shows it when the login page comes up but when it actually opens up my account, it's gone & a little orange triangle in it's place & when I put my mouse on it it says this website isn't secure... What caused that & how do I correct it?

i'll be just scrolling along a site and my browser will either stop and bring up lots of little black boxes, or it just makes the entire screen black except the bar at the top with the minimize buttons. i've uninstalled and reinstalled and i've had this problem on my other browser, icedragon.
