All the tabs, in both my profiles are constantly crashing. I cannot keep at a task for more than a few minutes without needing to restart the tab. Is this a setting problem? I've cleared the cache, and reset Firefox, to no avail. Thank you for any relevant advice and/or assistance.

Hello, I have been experiencing tab crashes while watching MSNOW at 4pm eastern. These have also occurred in troubleshooting mode. I have submitted the error codes and pasted the most recent five here. I also received an error code which to the best of memory stated to possibly reinstall firefox. I use Linux Mint and I have been experiencing numerous system crashes involving Firefox which requires a cold boot. What is the problem? How can I debug this? Are you getting crash reports?’

This happens several times a week. It has happened continuously tonight since installing the latest update via the Software Manager.

The program causes a total freeze of the OS. All other running programs and all input sources. I have no choice but to shut down via the power button on the tower.

Mint generates crash reports but I have no way to determine if they are being sent to Mozilla.

Firefox for Linux does not provide a troubleshooting system like it does on Windows. Neither does Mint.

I studied Computer Science in the 80s when Firefox was known as Navigator. I learned C and the Unix OS, but since then I became a psychologist, and don't remember too much of the Com Sci stuff I learned and I don't think Mint allows user modifications anyway.

What can be done to fix this? I don't have the Benjamins to buy a new Windows to replace the Linux, nor do I want to.

When playing a YouTube video and attempting to open a new tab, Firefox consistently crashes. This was also occurring with Picture-in-Picture mode.

Has anyone else encountered this?

This has happened randomly on several different computers, both windows and ubuntu linux. It just now happened on my Win 11 computer. Was viewing the CNN news site and FF suddenly closed, without a "FF crashed..." message.When I clicked the icon to reopen it, it came up with the home page group of tabs instead of reopening the windows and tabs that were opened when it crashed. Worse, none of the previous months of history shows up and recently closed tabs and windows are both greyed out.

Is there a way of recovering the history of what I was working on at the time of the crash and what the hell is causing this? I am close to dumping FF and going with something else as this is highly annoying.

Hello, I've been watching MSNOW at 4pm eastern and after about half an hour it crashes. I get a message to send a report and restore the tab. I restore the tab which works for maybe ten minutes and crashes again. I am using Windows 11 on a new computer. I'd appreciate some assistance. Thanks. Bruce Caress

Hello, I’ve been increasingly frustrated over the past few weeks with your browser, which I prefer over all the others, because it keeps crashing constantly. I’ve tried several small fixes suggested by IT professionals, such as clearing the cache, running an antivirus scan, and deleting my browsing history, but the issue persists with no improvement. At this point, my last option seems to be uninstalling and reinstalling the application, but I’m concerned about losing my bookmarks. Could you please advise me on how to resolve this issue? M. When I open Firefox for the first time after logging in to my macbook, after a few minutes, a second Firefox icon appears in the dock at the bottom of the screen. Why is this happening (only started a few days ago)? And how do I stop it?

Browser shuts down within 10 -20 seconds of going to a website, and I get a crash report which I have clicked to forwarded each time to Mozilla.

Also have a new error message at the top of the browser that says: "The security sandbox is disabled. Your configuration is unsupported and less secure." (image attached)

Not sure if that is related or not.

Dragging and Dropping folders to upload on dropbox.com have worked flawlessly before Firefox 150.0

Now in Firefox 150.0, dragging and dropping a folder will result in the tab crash.
