A blank survey pops up in my homepage each time I open Firefox, I haven't filled it yet since I don't know what it entails and what it is about. There is no option to close it either, and it seems bugged as it isn't going away even after updating the version of Firefox, it is still present on 125.0.2 version. Kindly assist regarding the same. I have attached a picture of the same herewith.

 One of my email accounts Yahoo or Gmail appears to have been hacked. I received two phishing emails this week --3 if you count the last one who said she was calling on behalf of Medicare/Social Security and All members could get a preloaded card for several hundred dollars. I knew there was a plan to help certain folks, but it was not available to everybody. I asked her for the name of the plan and she hung up. the webpage she sent me to first or told me to go there where I could talk to a licensed agent. Do people who answer the phone have a license like insurance salespeople? Anyway, they had copied the govt. the site is right up the US sea.

but it did something as I can't use my password They cancel your account if you tell them the truth --better just to say I need help resetting my password. They then ask you to send them a picture ID as in Driver's License. Noway I am going to do this --so I have at least some pretty valuable info if I can't get in.

Ny first time writing here - if any response please direct suggestions to pke225x2gmail or I guess I will check here. Don't know how you put people with possible solutions to seeker of HELP.

My Firefox can only be shut down by TaskManager, or by clicking on the three horizontal bars and then dropping to exit.

So I can't close any single tab 'without closing them all', that's the real annoyance. I also can't close any individual windows I opened instead of a new tab, without closing all tabs and windows. Finally the classic windows ALT+F4 closure that's built into Windows doesn't close Firefox, and if it did I suspect ALT+F4 would close them all. Bottom line Firefox is seriously close-resistant.

What precipitated this was I allowed a previous Firefox update to download-install, and it tanked my performance, I figured your team would fix that issue, but in the meantime what I did was uninstall that version and reinstall the version I had been running before that update. Tilt! That action resulted in the close windows or tabs problem.

Summary: I am using the latest version now, but with it came this "can't close any individual tab without closing them all, and can only close even then except by Taskmanager or by clicking the 3 horizontal bars then dropping to Exit which also closes all Firefox tabs and Windows. This problem has surfaced before in this support, and none of the solutions worked, probably because I got to this place uniquely. I did read before submitting this.

Every time I open Firefox another blank window opens behind the main Firefox pages . I see it when I close Firefox so have to close that too. There is no URL in the window just a blank page.

Ever since the latest update, the picture-in-picture function stopped working properly. If I activate it, the video will automatically go to full screen, and I need to press the full screen button multiple times to move it down to a small box. I am using Firefox on a Mac laptop.

after updating newest the version of Firefox the option to" restore previous windows opened " does not work. Is there a work around when I close my browser and then reopen the browser so that all the tabs that I had opened before closing my browser return as if I never left?I went into my setting and have the "open previous tabs" is checked. I even restarted my browser but nothing simple seems to work. Thanks in advance

I have tried to install my password manager Sticky Password several times to the firefox browser. The current version of sticky password is installed and running but the firefox browser leaves me a message saying it is not installed or running.

Firefox is not permitting videos from YouTube that other browsers easily play. This needs to be fixed. YouTube offers their Premium subscribers videos which can be played at a higher bitrate, which means even 1080p can play at a higher quality. When setting quality on a video, in addition to the 1080p, you can choose "1080p Advanced bitrate" as an option. Firefox has trouble playing these files, whereas Safari and other browsers don't have a problem with YouTube. Please fix this.

I would like to be able to make sure if a pop-up window is blocked, that I'm being notified about it, but there are no options in settings.

I read through the instructions listed on the help pages and found a message from support from 4 years ago about manually editing the settings, which wasn't helpful.

Are they just on by default now? Or did they get turned off and if so, how do I turn them back on?

(p.s. having something teach you how to do something, this case getting trouble shooting data manually, should open another window, not navigate me away from the page I'm sending this message from)

I have a NAS server, where I save all my data. When I type the local address 192.168.2.10:5001 I always get the warning That this is a malicious site. I havo enter I know the risk etc. which cost me time and is useless, since my NAS server is under my control.

I have tried to put the server address in several exceptions, but they disappear.

How to tell Firefox that my Nas srver is safe?

I am trying to add custom search engines to Firefox. I have tried the steps given in the forum thread https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1212596.

However when I try to go and add the search engine as per the article given above I do not get the option. Please see the attached screen shot for more details. I do not want to add an extension or a plugin, but just manually have the option of adding search engines.

in the firefox browser is there any way to see the casting the browser screen to chromecast on tv. similar to 'cast to media device' in edge browser or chrome browser.

Firefox keeps reminding me that updates are available. I download and it says its installing but it doesn't seem to update. I have tried closing Firefox before running the installation but it makes no difference. I am on 125.02 at the moment.

Website is being set to reject Firefox browser only, asks me to use alternative, why?

Canvas is working on all other browsers normally, but when I try to login on firefox an error 403 message shows up at the two factor authentification step. I allowed popups already in this browser so that is not the issue.

I'm using Ubuntu 24.04 and just reinstalled for unrelated reasons. I'm trying to copy my Firefox profile over from my backup to the new installation.

I used the Ubuntu Snap store to install Firefox and put my old profile in -- this is the one that I was using on my previous Ubuntu 24.04 installation just a couple days ago -- and everything seems fine, but I do see this error message:

[ERROR error_support::handling] suggest-unexpected: Error opening database: Incompatible database version: 18

It gets printed when I type things in the search bar, so it seems related to some sqlite database related to history and autocompletion.

Is there a way to fix this? I'm fine with just deleting it, so long as the other parts of the profile remain.

(This is a strange error, since after all I was using the exact same setup -- Firefox on Ubuntu 24.04, installed via snap -- just a couple days ago, and it was, as far as I know, up-to-date.)
