FoxNews.com website crashes after a short time, displaying a message "Gah. Your tab just crashed." I am using Firefox 121.0 on a M2 MacBook Air laptop running macOS Sonoma 14.1.2. My Safari browser works fine without crashing.

After the last couple of updates Firefox will not wrap words in view source screen(CTRL+U). This makes the info very difficult to read as most lines of code run off the screen. How do fix this? Thanks.

I have been using firefox sync for a long time to migrate between PC to PC

My firefox sync profile is full of old stuff and I would like to clean up my settings by wiping out my firefox sync settings and starting fresh.

However, before doing that I wish to export all my data/settings/password/cookies/bookmarks and everything, so files on my computer.

Files that I can read in notepad and inspect. See which settings I have in there and decide which settings I want to put back in my new installation.

I know that my profile is stored in

C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\4vdt083m.default-release

However the files and structure in that folder are inscrutable

I would like to have control over the settings of my browser, what they are, to save them and modify them on my own terms.

I would like to export about:config completely to a regular plain text file, edit them and import them back in.

Sound stops in the middle of watching videos on youtube, amazon prime, facebook, etc. Sometimes pausing the video, switching to another tab and switching back will solve the problem for a couple seconds, then the sound will cut out again. I've tried: clearing updating the browser, clearing cookies & cache, uninstalling extensions, reinstalling the entire freaking browser. It's driving me bonkers.

Running verson 121.0 on windows 10.

There has been this odd banner of scripts on certain web pages for a while now and I'm not sure what it is or how to stop it. I don't know what the problem could be.

Greetings, After installing WINDOWS 11, the Firefox browser in a search for obscene content on Google refuses to display results of obscene content and claims that the owner allegedly locked the option to unlock this. It is important to note that I am the owner of the computer, a 57-year-old adult, and the block only exists in the Firefox browser. I have already tried everything listed on the internet in attempts to find a solution to the phenomenon, including completely removing the browser and reinstalling it, nothing helps. I would appreciate assistance please.

This file should not be in the Mozilla firefox file directories There is also no application that have added the trojan.

I cannot access https://www.tumblr.com or https://www.tumblr.com/dashboard, I just get a Server Not Found error. Other tumblr domains (such as specific blogs like [username].tumblr.com or their support database help.tumblr.com) all load fine, it's just specifically the main page/dashboard that won't load. Likewise, when I go to my own blog domain, the blog and all pages load just fine EXCEPT for the ask page, which displays the same error view in the ask box field with the rest of the page loading like normal (see attached screenshots).

I have done standard troubleshooting including clearing my cache (this did not work), reloading in troubleshooting mode to determine if the issue is being caused by one of my extensions (it does not appear to be), and refreshing firefox (also did not work). I can load tumblr just fine on both their mobile app and through firefox mobile, and I can load all other websites with no issues on my laptop, and I have confirmed with other firefox users that they are not experiencing the same issue. It's literally just 1) my laptop, 2) on firefox desktop version only and 3) this specific site. I've exceeded my own ability to troubleshoot this issue and would appreciate any advice on how to fix this.

On Dec 28, 2023, I changed my Windows computer and installed Firefox and then I logged in the sync because I had forgotten the sync password. and my previous information has been completely deleted, like my passwords, I desperately need information from before the date of Dec 28, 2023, please return the sync to a day before the date I said Thanks

Hello, Firefox updated and my bookmarks are nowhere to be found. I turned on the show bookmarks and there is nothing there. I had so many and really rely on the easy access. There is no older version on my laptop. Are they gone forever. I really love firefox but am disappointed that this happened. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to retrieve my bookmarks. Thank you

That's still slow. Is there a way to make this process quicker? In WordPress or Obsidian there is a plugin to handle this.

Prior to updating to Windows 11 I was able to specify the bookmark folder that I wanted to save the bookmark in when I pressed "Bookmark Current Tab" or "Ctrl-D". Now it automatically saves the bookmark in the "Other Bookmarks" folder instead of allowing me to save it in my desired folder? I then have to find the saved bookmark and manually move it to the desired folder. Is there a fix for this or is this a permanent feature change? Thanks for your help.

I opened a Teams meeting invite which opened a web browser page in Firefox. A drop down appeared asking if I wanted to allow Firefox to typically open the invite in the Teams app. Normally I click no, but clicked yes. Now when I open a teams link it will repeatedly open the Teams invite tab in Firefox. I can kill it by closing the browser, but sometimes I have to do that 2 or 3 times.

I have managed to remove permissions for teams by clicking on the dash button on the teams page but it continues to do it. And when it's spam opening the tabs I can't stay on any page long enough to do anything as it prioritizes the new tab.

How do I get rid of the purple home page in Private browsing that really defeats the purpose of private browsing when everyone can see this page pop up??? I have tried setting it to private only and I still get this page upon opening. I have searched the FAQs and tried all that they suggest (except for the one that suggests not using private browsing at all). this question and problem go back to at least 2019 it seems to me it should have been FIXED by now.

I have a new windows 11 install and since adding firefox I get these pop up messages in threes. Please see attached screenshots. I have Eset antivirus and have run malwarebytes too but still they appear! I do not use Mcafee and it is not installed on my pc.

Has anyone got any suggestions please?

MSN is my home page. When I open Firefox, it goes to MSN as it should, but then the right and left arrow keys to view the articles do not work. The arrows will not go to the next page, nor go back to the previous page. Is this a MSN or Firefox problem?
