I subscribe to Gardener's World which provides links to videos for some topics. Clicking on some links gives an instant view of the target page but immediately reverts to a blank screen, although the link address is still shown. I was not sure whether to report this as a crash, but most of the time I'm trouble-free.

I've been getting funny glyphs on my google engine searches. See png. Turning off add ons and reinstalling software doesn't seem to clear the issue.

The funny text when copied and pasted is revealed to be the actual text it was supposed to be.

This is very very weird... and its only on firefox, no issue for chrome or safari. Happened just a few days ago. Don't remember installing anything. Could be malfare from a font site?

Scroll wheel not working at all -but only on firefox (windows 11) I tried disabling the smooth scrolling option in logi options+ app but the issue was not resloved

The issue only resolves when starting Firefox Browser with the Troubleshooting mode, any idea what is the cause of this problem, and how can I fix it?

I use the "Forget" button regularly. Recently, I've noticed that complete browser history (cookies and all) are all being deleted even though only 5 minutes or two hours are selected.

Any others having this issue? Doug

So, a preface. I rarely used this PC of mine, and thus the Firefox is rarely used as well. When i installed it, i turned on the option 'Open previous windows and tabs'.

Then, once I opened up some kind of offline documentations from Libre Office or Latex, which opened in Firefox. You know, the one where there is no tab appeared, and it just seems like a single pop-up window. I closed it without thinking.

Long enough, i forgot about that and opened up Firefox only to be met with that docs again. Okay, i closed it. But Firefox always started in this kind of pop-up window style ever since (attached). Changing the preference, even deleting the profile doesn't seem to do a thing.

Any recommendation to return Firefox to its original set?

For information: OS: EndeavourOS with Linux 5.15.94 DE: Xfce 4.18 with Xfwm 4.18 Version: Latest, Firefox 110, installed from Arch Linux repository

After updating to Firefox 110 (snap running under Ubuntu Studio 22.04) I get "No synced logins found". The settings still show me logged in to my Firefox account and my synced bookmarks are still there. The saved logins are still there in my Firefox 110 installation running under Windows 10. A similar problem was reported here: Surface Pro 8 recently had No Synced Logins Found while other devices do not have this issue but I am opening a separate thread because the OP gives the impression that this is platform-specific. I am afraid to do anything in the Firefox installation under Ubuntu, for fear of overwriting (i.e. deleting) the saved logins which I can still access on my Windows installation. How should I proceed?

Hi there. My scroll wheel on my mouse stopped working. Only way to scroll is to press Ctrl+Shift and then use scroll wheel, which makes it work fine. But i would prefer to not have to press down Ctrl+Shift to scroll. This problem is only happening on Firefox and no other browser or program on my computer. Do you know any solutions?

I have just updated Firefox, and I am not able to scroll at all. My mouse wheel does not work and the mousepad scrolling does not either, but I am still able to scroll by pressing down the scroll wheel (image below). I am able to scroll on all other applications and I was able to scroll on the 'Which topic best describes your question?' mini-menu, I'm just not sure why I can't do it on here. Thanks!

Mouse scroll wheel not scrolling web page after installing Firefox version 110. I installed an older version, 98, and it worked again, but that version would not use my profile and it seemed to update itself to 110 and then scrolling was broken again. Am I alone or is everyone broken at version 110?

When Firefox updates, a new tab is openned upon the next start, with the new version content or patchnote. I would like to avoid this informative tab.

Is there a way to deactivate it?

My mouse wheel does work when I try to scroll in any page. The scroll wheel works when I am scrolling though tabs but only if I am holding Shift or Ctrl. It also seems to work just fine in troubleshooting mode, but nothing else seems to work. This problem started just after Firefox updated to the newest version.

I can't scroll with the mouse wheel in Firefox. It works fine in other browsers and programs.

If I switch to Safe Mode, the scrolling wheel works. But if I switch back to normal mode, the wheel does not work again.

I tried to switch off and switch on "Use autoscrolling" and "Use smooth scrolling" settings, but it didn't help.

Unfortunately, "Refresh Firefox…" and reinstalling browser completely did not help.

I am at a loss, please help.

the latest firefox update has disabled scrolling/ i have tried changing the settings in firefox and no changes make any difference. scrolling works on other apps perfectly fine.

WIN10 Pro; FF 110.0 (64-bit)

After upgrading to the above version and restarting the computer, I find that scrolling within a webpage no longer works using the mouse wheel. Scrolling can still be done using the vertical scroll on the right.

I've closed the browser and tried again, but the bug remains.

I've verified that mouse wheel scrolling still works by testing on other websites and on documents.

my scroll wheel stopped working on firefox, so i launched in safe mode and my scroll wheel was perfectly fine so i disabled all of my addons but it still doesn't work

Yesterday, my scrollwheel stopped working on my mouse in Firefox. The mouse moves the cursor fine everywhere, including Firefox, but the scrollwheel only works in other browsers/programs.

This morning, upon opening Firefox, I noticed that I could not scroll through any pages or windows. I turned off scroll lock (or so I thought), and it began scrolling. But then, in all of my other windows, scroll lock was activated. So, I hit my scroll lock button again, and now all other windows will scroll except for Firefox. Is there a setting I need to change?

It appears as if scroll lock is reversed on Firefox vs. all other apps on my computer.
