Is this a known issue for the new update? Whenever I try to click Recently Closed Windows in particular, it just does nothing. It has the grey highlighted bar that shows it wants to do something, but then does nothing. About 1 out of 100 times when i click Recently Closed Tabs, it WILL open to show my recently closed tabs, but generally does the same thing as Recently Closed Windows. I know I have recently closed tabs because I restored session and it is currently showing all my old tabs I had open prior to the update. I also tested to see if my recently closed had just reset by opening a new window and closing it, but it still just does nothing. I use the Recently Closed Windows quite a bit and it's quite irritating that it appears to be broken.

I've now installed Firefox several times including at least one clean install. I've worked through all the support pages on how to fix the problem, including system scan using MalwareBytes, and removing extensions, but the problem persists.

To be more precise, sometimes it just crashes immediately leaving the notices shown in the image. Sometimes it opens and stays for a while but then crashes with a similar notice.

I set my browser theme to a customized green theme I made myself with firefox color, then I decided I wanted something different and installed a new theme from the addons page. It works until I close firefox, but if I open it again it changes back to the custom one I made? I can't find any settings that fix this and i don't want to delete the custom themes I made just to be able to use one of the addon themes I have saved.

I accidentally visited a bogus website instead of the legitimate UK Companies House website.

I should have gone to companieshouse.gov.uk but ended up at companieshouse.org.uk which is an escort site! (Yeah, no, it wasn't what I was looking for, OK?!)

But now I cannot get rid of the bogus address and it autofills every time I start typing "companies".

I have deleted it from History, but it still appears.

According to searches I've done, I should be able to go to tools/ settings/ privacy and security/ forms and autofill where I would be able to delete it, but Firefox 106.0.1 now only gives me the option to change saved credit card details.

So where do I find the location that this is saved so I can get rid of it.

PS No, I do *not* want to wipe all my history/ browsing data etc just to get rid of one fake address!

firefox has just automatically updated when using private browsing all dropdown menus appear as white text on a grey background this is harder to read i want black text on a white background

The txt document codes I was given to save to my computer were corrupted in a recent windows update gone wrong. Can you give me those codes back, or are there other routes I can take to correct this?

How do I remove this crap tab list? I don't want that option, Firefox just updated and added it as a fixed function. Honestly it seems that the Firefox development team does not care about the interests of users, currently I need to use 2 browsers because one of them does not have an option to create shortcuts to the sites I frequent

I shutdown my firefox browser and was running top on my linux POP_OS 22.04 laptop.

I noticed a firefox process running at 23 to 25 % of the cpu even though the browser was closed. Can you tell me what is running and how I control it?

Last few days , my laptop( windows 10) system got hanged for some reason. Then second time I got the message on my laptop , that Software Mozzila Firefox got crashed. It had stopped working for few minutes then I restarted it. 1) Has it happened to my System? 2) or even others got the same experience? 3) How to start PC when windows stopped working Suddenly. 4)Was the Mozzila Firefox failure / crash, was the reason, behind PC not working during first time? 5) On laptop a message appears , to upgrade Operating system to Windows 11( currently it is windows 10) from MS. Firefox (on a MacBook Pro, OS 10.14.5) rapidly stopped working today. First, one open page stopped updating (webmail), but others (e.g., weather) still worked. Soon, progressively, nothing worked, and it wouldn't open new pages, links, or bookmarks. I downloaded a new version, 106.0.1, but that dmg file wouldn't open: "no such file or directory" (despite ostensibly containing 135 MB). Yet that version seems to be what's running now. I don't know how recently my Firefox got updated; possibly an update is the problem, but why newly today is unclear. I'm now using Safari, since Firefox is kaput.

I just opened a pop up that you sent - asking to choose a colour. I had no idea it would change the look of Firefox. Please could you instruct me how to change it back to how it was.

Getting sick of this crap that everything has to have this BLACKNESS crap in it, 13% of the population shoved in everything, You never see Asians, or any other race now, it's always this black crap, everything in now divershittyfied.

I've just opened Firefox to discover it has updated whilst I was out, and now all my saved logins are missing.

It's not a disaster, just really annoying as it means having to re-enter a lot of information, and remembering it!

Is there any way of recovering that information or is it a lost cause?

I hardly use tabs, and I have a widescreen notebook. So one of the most important features a browser must have is not to waste vertical space.

Unfortunately, Firefefox still has always tab bar open even if there is only one tab.

There was a css code to overcome this problem. Unfortunately, it does not work with FF 106 anymore (another one stopped working with 103). It always shows a "+" sign and uses vertical space.

1. ) How can I get rid of the tab bar? Is there a working css code or is it a feature now of FF? 2.) BTW, also one of the most important addons for me "I don't care about cookies" is not working anymore 3.) How can I fully stop updates? They are causing far too many problems 4.) I already know that css and addons are not officially supported by Mozilla.

Well, I have applied all the options about proxy settings with the same result of long time for opening websites when first start of firefox. During these months I took notice to the one point, i.e. if I open website using firefox in the earlier morning there is no problem with the speed of opening as well as if I open another browser of edge the last one opens website without any delay. So the challenge of long time opening websites when the first start of firefox is still in force. How to resolve this?

Since 106.0.1 was installed the NY Times acrostic no longer shows a grid for solving the puzzle. Also, the Oregonian newspaper online no longer has arrows to move to the next or previous page of the paper. These things continue to exist on Chrome. I have other problems with this version but these are the major issues at present.
