I am really struggling with Firefox after many years of MS Edge & its forerunners. When there is not an envelope icon on a web page, how do I share to email?

Rendering is completely broken after the upgrade to Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. See attached image. This particular render is of the advanced preferences page, or actually the prompt warning that it could break something is somewhere in there. The mountains are my desktop, it's all alpha channel in Firefox. Nothing else seems broken, and other apps and games, both using GPU acceleration and not, are working fine.

I have removed and reinstalled firefox (snap remove firefox then snap install firefox) but did not delete all of the history files in between. (I am posting this from a different browser, since Firefox is unusable.)

Yesterday I noticed that my saved passwords were not being retrieved from Firefox. I did do a Windows update before this happened. None of my passwords are able to be retrieved. My Firefox account says my sync is not working & that my account is disconnected. Which is weird bc I'm actually signed in to Firefox now - able to see my user name. What's going on here & how can I fix it? Thanks!

I'd like to hide the Bar with URL addresses but guides I've seen (for example https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1331743 ) don't work for me because I don't have Mozilla folder at Appdata folder.

one of my friend uses google. As we live in sweden, We have to visit so many swedish site. But google always translates all those possible to English automatically, and also there is an option comes as you can change the language.

But I do not get the chances here.

I had two Firefox windows open. One had 100+ tabs open, the other had around 5 open. Like a klutz I accidentally closed the window with the 100+ tabs open instead of the other window. Now when Firefox restarts it opens the version with the 5 tabs.  :-( I read about lost tabs in Firefox. I have found a file with the 100+ tabs in it. It is called: upgrade.jsonlz4-20221007134813. But what do I do next to restore Firefox to restart with the 100+ tabs version? Thanks.

Firefox will not download anything from any website. Any time I try to access pdf, jpeg or what ever all I get is "download failed". I always need to resort to Edge to get it, ready to be done with Firefox. Any suggestions for someone who is only mildly technical? I have tried opening in Firefox and Adobe, tried saving instead, nothing works

When printing, Firefox shows printers that are no longer connected to my Mac and were removed from my Mac printer settings in preferences. But, I am unable to remove them from Firefox. I already tried clearing the printer settings by clicking "Clear saved print settings" in troubleshooting, but the old printer names are still showing up.

I have a web app that uses cookies to reference sessions that contain login status.

For example: when I log in, a session is created that tracks that I am logged in. When I go to another function/page the cookie is deleted, thus I am no longer logged in.

I have the Security set to "Standard" and the website URL unprotected.

Chrome and Safari are fine, it's only Firefox.

What am I missing?

I just signed up for Mail.com and created a new email account there. When I first used it, I received a message (not an email) that I am not using the most current Firefox, and I need to download the most current Firefox. However, Firefox's update function says I am current. Now, I am concerned that Mail.com is not reliable or safe, although it is promoted by Firefox. Can you clear this up?

i just upgraded to win 10 downloaded firefox and when i play videos i get format is not supported error when i tryd playing same videos on explorer those videos worked they didint worked on opera gx too i already tried deliting firefox and clearing all left file with cc cleaner dont know what to do

Ever since today, firefox has been very slow with youtube, and I noticed it's been having a memory leak. Every time I load a video on there ram usage spikes by about 1 gb, then gradually increases over time (It never goes down). Also cpu usage when loading a page is really high (almost 100% usage). How do I fix this? I tried all the solutions google had to offer but nothing worked. Never had any problem like this for over the 10 years I've been using firefox

When I'm on a web page, I'd like to be able to drag or copy the URL, with its associated name, from the address bar into Onenote. When I do that now I only get the URL in Onenote. I can get both the URL and name if first I drag the URL to the bookmark bar and then I drag the bookmark into Onenote.

Does anyone know a way to get it done in one step?

Hi community, i have a problem with OneDrive and i want to troubleshoot some possibilities.

Outlook.com, Office.com and every other website loads in Firefox. But only the OneDrive website refuses to load. I tried it in Microsoft Edge and there it loads. The service is definitly up and running.

So i have the suggestion that the exented tracking protection might be the reason for OneDrive not loading.

How can i be sure if the tracking protection is the problem? Has OneDrive so many trackers? I mean it is Microsoft, of course it has. But how would this prevent the site from loading?

In a previous version of firefox, I could right click within a text area for example, which would allow me to check my spelling. Since upgrading (which was actually from a higher Beta version, to the latest current stable - a new profile was created), I had not had this option. As you can appreciate, it's a very handy tool to have, so I have been attempting to get this function back today.

Within my language section, initially there was only 'English [GB]', which was as it should be. I had 'check spelling as I type' checked also. This did not automatically check as I typed. It did not check at all, not could i right-click to check spelling.

I have since added 'English [US]' to see if this would then allow me to remove and reinstate 'English [GB]', but it did not. I then added a third option which was 'English [CA]'. The config allows me to remove only 'English [CA]', which when pressed removes it from the list, but by pressing the 'set alternatives' button again, you can see that it has returned.

I have since managed to get firefox to check spelling in English [GB] by adding 'British English Dictionary (GB)' (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/british-english-dictionary-gb/), but now I am also stuck with English US and English CA. EN-US does not allow it to be removed whatsoever, even though it was only there after I manually added it and EN-CA allows me to remove, but returns. No option to apply and restart firefox appears (I've seen this appear in another user youtube video on the subject). Closing and opening makes no difference.

How can I removed English US and English CA please?

6 images attached, in sequence order. Between images 3 and 5 you can see CA being removed and returning (and also no option to remove US). The last image is what I am now trying to get rid of.

I want to enlarge the font in the menu bar WITHOUT enlarging/zooming all web content - JUST the menu bar. And I want to make the bookmark dropdown list single spaced with no padding. Can't find any solution to these issues.
