So, I've come to realize that, over a recent PC upgrade, the red, squiggly underline on misspelled words disappears when the Backspace key is hit. I'm glad that Pocket has reappeared on my home page, since I spent hours trying to find it a couple of years ago, unsuccessfully, after it disappeared, but now this spell check issue is a bit disconcerting. But now it appears that it only happens within Facebook ...there's a surprise. Nope, it's Messenger/Firefox only. Messenger/Edge works as it should (red squigglies remain, despite depressing Backspace), and the squigglies also remain within this text field. So it seems specific to Messenger/Firefox. I have no issue with Facebook when using chrome but when I use firefox (which is my main browser) there is nothing but issues. Even trying to report a problem to mozilla through browser, you get the run around. I used to love the browser but it just seems to be getting worse and worse, hell I would rather use internet explorer than the rubbish mozilla has bought out. This isn't first issue I have had, I have had passwords/bookmarks lost with the stupid sync after a fresh install but I stuck through it. I hardly use facebook anymore because of the issues they have but when I do use it, it's nothing but a headache so I use chrome just to post something or comment.

I use a Mac 27" desktop and when trying to log into Facebook receive this error message:

Login approval needed We noticed a login from a browser, device or location you don't usually use. We need to confirm it was you before you can get back on Facebook. Learn more

I am not understanding the browser & desktop issue. I was able to log in to Facebook on my iPad, but still unable to access the desktop. I seem to be in an endless loop with Facebook.

Searched the forums and web, no one seems to have answer that I have found. Firefox 95.02, Windows 10 Pro, 8 GB RAM, Dell Notebook, fiber optic Internet 156 mbps Start by running CCleaner, disable un-needed startups, extensions, ad-ons, ect., then roboot, have clean slate. About 3 months ago, after about 15 minutes Firefox slows down, then quits loading images, then eventually quits loading whole pages. If I was blocking content it would not work for at least 10 minutes. This evening, 21.38 clean boot, start FF, go to Facebook, read notifications, 1 tab open, nothing else running 21.55 images fail to load, still one tab open Researched more and ran about:memory, memory-report.json.gz unable to figure out how to upload Run CCLeaner, I do not save cookies or cache after FF closes, reboot 22.04 start Firefox, 1 tab open nothing else 22.16 images slow loading 22.20 nothing loads, try other websites like NOAA radar, all fine Reminds me I saw at the bottom left "Waiting for static.xx.fbcdn.net" Screen shot of Task Manager attached, FF running 10 times, 154 kb image will not upload Failed to upload, copying this txt and starting over. Images loaded fine after reboot Facebook works fine on Edge, I do not have/use Chrome or Google Facebook is the only page Firefox has issues with.

Hi, Recently Firefox seems to have developed a fault. I manage several public Facebook pages and post updates and my own camcorder film on a regular basis, usually with no problem. Recently, when I go back into the pages some of my posts are not visible to me and seem to have disappeared. I think it is possible that other people can see them. Sometimes they appear again only to disappear again when I log back in! Also I am unable to view some posts, using Firefox, on other peoples Facebook pages though I am able to do so using Safari. Does anyone know what I can do to rectify this please? I would prefer to continue using Firefox Thank you from Judy
