Facebook full site's Messenger mini-windows crash (disappear and fail to reappear) when I paste any copied URL into the box. This occurs whether I retrieved the URL from the address bar or by rightclick -> Copy link location, and persists until I refresh/reload the page (also, reloading the page does not resolve the issue). I can paste URLs on the full Messenger page; I can do other chat features (e.g. upload screenshots) on either version of the chat. What's going on? I have a number of extensions installed and some modifications to the about:config page, if one of those might be causing this. Thanks!

I have an old version of firefox (3.6.9) that is required for compatibility with our ancient ad trafficking system. My whole department uses it along with the Mac OS El Capitan 10.11.6. No one else has any problem with it, but I do. It crashes on startup-every single time. I've done a clean install multiple times, I've booted up in safe mode, I've deleted all preferences and profiles multiple times, and nothing will fix it.
I got into the Application support folder to find the crash report and there is no Firefox folder in application support at all. Could this be part of the problem? Is the install not working properly for some reason?
I've read about compatibility issues with google analytics as well as with Suitcase font management and I have to use Chrome for our email system and still have Suitcase Fusion installed though I no longer use it. Could either one of these cause an issue with the older version of Firefox?
Can someone please help me with this?

I used to run Firefox without problem but lately had been using Safari. Wanted to get back to Firefox last week and downloaded the newest version. Since then I can't start Firefox; it crashes on start-up every time. I'm on a Mac, OS 10.12.6 (Sierra). I'm not especially techy but I have tried safe-start and a clean start with no success. Did submit crash reports, the last one about 10 minutes ago (Crash ID: bp-18a0ccaa-1f9e-4478-ada4-3ea8d0181109). If someone could help, that would be great. I am really fed up with Safari :(. I need my saved passwords because Firefox used to log me in Facebook every time i went there but after the update that is gone as well ????? Every update from Firefox has caused problems. My plug ins on the websites I manage are not seen. I play one game on my computer, a jigsaw puzzle through Facebook. For the last two Firefox updates, the game cannot load. I found the needle in a haystack solution after about a month of trying. Firefox, you do NOT have the right to change my preferences. Firefox fix this crap or many of us will join the crowds heading to google chrome or anything that is not Firefox. Read about people's complaints about you online and realize that you are on thin ice. For those of you offering advice, please don't bother with the basics. I am fairly computer savvy. Can code my own websites. Everything has been updated. Permissions have been checked.

The browser says, 'FF is up to date' but it doesn't give me a version #. I have a lot of tabs open but I always do. a few days ago I closed about 200 tabs before opening FF. I have 24G of RAM and everything was working fine a few hours ago..

I log in to Facebook and then run a game called Throne Rush. When I am done there and try to go back to FB, the FB screen freezes. I then run Task Manager and there is a sub-process under Firefox(7) and it says "Plugin Container for Firefox". Once I delete that, the FB screen goes back to normal. If have re-installed Firefox with and without the plugins enabled and it doesn't make a difference. I am using the latest version of Firefox - version 62. I don't know what changed but this just started yesterday. Thanks

I can't do anything at that point and facebook home page doesn't ever come up. I tried to do the same thing in microsoft edge and it worked just fine. I've never had this problem with Firefox before.

Hi, when linking my Sports-tracker workout which has pictures to my Facebook site no picture show up in Facebook, only a link and my text. The picture window is empty. Same happens when in Flickr I link a picture to my Facebook site, only link and text is shown up on Facebook, no picture. If I do same operations with Google Chrome, the pics show up correctly on my Facebook site.
