I have Windows 11 and Firefox 124.0.2. Firefox keeps asking to reinstall. I think it is because I keep getting the message that it fails to check for updates. I don't know if I have installed the Microsoft Firefox or the direct Mozilla Firefox downloaded. Maybe that is the problem, but I am not tech savvy. I have used Firefox for many years and like it. I am also too old (83) to deal with these problems. Help!

Due to repeated issues over a week, I uninstalled Firefox days ago. Tried to Reinstall it repeatedly on same device several times. It was working before..BUT it keeps showing its downloaded on Settings but Firefox download page keeps showing "DOWNLOAD" Tried several times. Not my computer. Nothing works to resolve it.. Windows 11..

I have Firefox 124.0.2 running on Windows 11. For some reason, I can't update Firefox. When I manually download the update file, it appears to run Ok, but the version doesn't change. If I go to settings and click on "Check for Updates" is comes back and says Failed to Check for Updates. How do I fix this?

My Browser keeps on telling me there is an update... I've updated, reinstalled the latest version and it still keeps giving a pop-up saying there is an update...

How do I get rid of these pop-ups???

I am trying to access Oracle eBS instance but when I login to the page, I get a notification as shown in the image.

After installing the plug-in and restarting the browser, when I try to run the application, I get the same notification.

Hello, I've installed Firefox twice in the last couple of days (Windows 10 - I think) and I continue to receive messages that say I need to install the latest version.

Do you issue updates daily, or is there something wrong with my Firefox installation or is it something else?

I did an Upgrade to a version of Firefox that would bypass those "Your Browser Is Not Supported" messages that apparently come from "Cloud-flare." I figured [naievely!] that my addons would "port" to the upgrade. They didn't. Is there any way [e.g., a putative backup file, perhaps] that would allow this?

I wish to install and use the Firefox browser on my old 64bit Windows 7 laptop.

I believe the last v115 will be the last Windows 7 compatible version of Firefox, if this is correct where can I find this or the correct version of Firefox to download and install on my Windows 7 laptop?

The Firefox website only seems to provide v119 now.

Hi,

I cannot download & installed any add-ons or themes. After clicking the install button, I always get a red bar saying "Download failed. Please check your connection.". This happens on Firefox, Firefox beta and Firefox nightly.

I did some googling and found similar posts from a few years ago. These seem to suggest I don't have the correct certificate used to verify extension signatures:

I checked my certificates and I don't have anything from "Mozilla Corporation - signingca1.addons.mozilla.org" (there's a screenshot of this cert in the first forum link above), so I think this is indeed the issue? I've attached a screenshot of my cert list where the Mozilla cert should be.

Please note I am on an M3 Pro macbook pro. It's a work laptop and I thought maybe our network settings were interfering with things, but my previous work laptop (Intel) could install add-ons just fine.

Would appreciate some help!

P.S. I found a workaround where I copied over all extension JSON and XPI files from my old laptop. So I am using my previous extensions just fine but still cannot download any new ones. Also I don't have access to my old laptop anymore so can't copy over any new ones.

Files will not download. The file is a rfa(revit) file. This is my second day using this web browser..

I have checked setting, to which I switched around to try and troubleshoot. This did not work. I ended up downloading another browser and the file downloaded no issue. Why is this happening? Ant help is greatly appreciated!

My update preference for Firefox is to download but I will install it. But it consistenly (over the last numerous updates) changes it to Automatic. I do not want Automatic updates. I want to control when it updates. I do not see this issue addressed anywhere. I have checked numerous times. Please help! My sincere thank you for your time and attention to my request for help. Old phone lost ,Firefox default browser , new phone Firefox is default browser and tried finding saved passwords failed, now trying to find backup and having trouble backing up,cannot find location old folders I follow directions and cannot find what I'm promt to do. Switch is not found. .

Ark extracted Version 119 files into /home/Downloads/Firefox/Firefox. I tried ./update from the BASH command line, but didn't know which argument(s) to add to that command. I'm hoping to update Firefox 78.14 ESR to a recent version, whether ESR or not. Thanks for your help.
