Hi folks

I have a particularly infuriating problem. A few weeks back, Firefox stopped displaying my usernames and passwords whenever I wanted to log into a site. This coincided with my installing BitDefender, although I don't know why.

Through googling I eventually realised I could go into about:config to fix this. signon.rememberSignons displays as false, when I turn it to true it fixes the issue.

But here is the problem I can't solve. Everytime I restart firefox or my PC / Mac (I am using both, with a syncronised account on both windows and MacOS) it sets signon.rememberSignons to false AGAIN. Which means every single time I browse I have to go into about:config and fix this. Maddening.

Please can you help?

To remove a cookie from a specific site, it takes about 8 or 9 clicks in "settings". I would love a one click feature that is easily accessible to remove that particular cookie. Any thoughts?

Hello, I have some issues with Firefox keeping my logged in my Google account. When I close Firefox it logs me out of Google. I have tried some methods from other threads on this site but still without success. I have the setting for delete cookies on Firefox close to off and have tried Firefox remember history and use custom settings. Thank you for reading this.

I'm trying to log into my gmail account, but every time I try, I am sent to the clear cache and cookies page. I have cleared my cache many times and still am unable to access my email on my computer through firefox. Can I get help with this? Thanks in advance!

Good day,my firefox has been acting weird for the last weeks.Everyday I have to re-login to all the sites I have been to,as if it doesn't save.E.g my email,I might login today,but tomorrow i have to re-login.Or youtube,today i login,tomorrow i have to re-login,confirming that I'm the one by going on the phone and pressing the correct verification number.Please,would you like to help me with this,so that i no longer need a phone and so that i no longer have to re-login the whole time.Some sites i had yesterday aren't even here now.

Yahoo and facebook are not recognizing my device and always ask for me to sign in with 2FA...Facebook asked if I want this to be a trusted device - I select Yes and next time I log in, password and text code....Yahoo Mail the same...asking for 2FA. I did not ask to be cut on and cannot turn off!!!!

On a previous install, this was a non issue. I recently had to reinstall windows entirely, and went to download Firefox first thing, but have been having an issue where even though every setting to delete cookies is off, I have the "enhanced tracking protection" set to custom, with everything ticked off, there are no extensions, no anything to seemingly cause the issue. I even signed out of my Mozilla account just to see if it was a sync issue. It still occurs. Firefox has been keeping me signed into literally everything, except specifically Google services. YouTube, Gmail, photos, everything. Any fix?

Здравствуйте, у меня возникла проблема: пользуюсь браузером с компьютера, в какой то момент , каждый раз при закрытии окна все аккаунты на всех сайтах разлогиниваются. Приходится каждый раз везде снова авторизоваться. В чем может быть проблема? Где то капался в настройках, разрешал сохранение cookies но это так и не помогло, может быть я просто не все места нашёл и не везде передвинул бегунки.... Вроде в некоторых браузерах бывает такая настройка, специальная. Если она есть в фаер фоксе - скажите, пожалуйста, как её отключить? Если её нет - подскажите какие ещё могут быть варианты?

здравстуйте, как сделать чтобы при входе в фаерфокс он не выходил из аккаунтов? например я захожу история сохраняется вкладки остаются но из аккаунтов он выходит и приходится каждый раз заходить заново

When I put my laptop to sleep, websites I am logged into are often logged out when I return. Note that I don't close Firefox. The tabs generally reopen but require login again. Windows 11, Firefox 137.0.1

For example, I put my laptop to sleep for lunch. When I returned, tabs were there, but I was logged out of gmail, Discord, and a website I was logged into.

This seems to happen more frequently recently, but not every time, as far as I know. But this is a relatively new problem, possibly related to a new laptop. Occasionally I get a message that there is trouble restoring my session.

I've recently sync'd my PC bookmarks etc to my android tablet and since then web sites that previously remembered me now keeping asking me to log in. BBC news, FaceBook are examples.

Periodically I open Firefox and all my cookies have been deleted. I go into settings to find "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" has been checked (NOT BY ME!) again. This is very annoying as I then have to log into all my websites and go through 2FA. This is annoying to the point that I am posting on this site for help. Next step is find a new browser that doesn't screw up my work-flow randomly for no reason.
