No matter what I try to read or go to, Firefox crashes repeatedly. I literally cannot use it at all. I keep getting: Gah. Your tab just crashed. We can help! Choose Restore This Tab or Restore All Crashed Tabs to reload the page/pages.

Clicking those options fixes nothing! How do I go back to the previous version, please?

Over the past 2 or 3 weeks, I've noticed that firefox tabs are crashing more often out of nowhere.

Here's one of the links for the most recent tab crash. Other crashes pretty much were all the same. I can't read or understand this, so I was hoping someone who can is able to tell me what is wrong.

I fear that it might be hardware related, as I've had tabs also crash on Edge and on a new install of Firefox Developer Edition (which I downloaded simply to test if things crashed there as well.) I've also noticed programs like Discord & Elgato Wave Link sometimes randomly crashing as well - but I'm unsure how to pull logs for those, Firefox was the easiest.

My laptop's hardware specs are as follows:

Lenovo Legion Pro 5 - 16IRX9 Processor: Intel Core i9-14900HX (2.2GHz) Installed RAM: 32 GB GPU: GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU Windows 11

I am intermittently but repeatedly getting this message in Firefox:

> The Windows file-dialog has crashed. No file or folder could be selected.

Windows 11, Firefox 142.0.1 Most recently within www.facebook.com Edit Album

Is this a known problem? And does it have a solution?

I am using the system Linux, ARM architecture, and Firefox version 144 Nightly. Using a large number of GPUs can cause the browser to crash. What else do I need to provide? Attached is my crash information. And only the first time I can enter the page I want, and then I can't do it again

'Some time ago I suddenly stopped being able to log into my Aetna health account on the Aetna web site. When I typed in my user ID and password I get the following message: "System temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." It's been like this since last March.

I just now tried logging in on my IPad and Microsoft Edge and had no problem logging with either one. This means that Firefox has to be causing the problem.

How do I fix the problem?

At some point in the last couple of weeks, I've started running into very frequent crashes running Firefox in the Linux container on my Chromebook. It previously worked well, but is now unusable. I'm now running Firefox version 147.0.3 on Chrome version 144.0.7559.167. This is after I did a clean reinstall of Firefox using flatpak, which didn't help. It seems like it often happens when my mouse hovers over a browser tab or icon (eg account, extensions, hamburger). Other quirky display behaviour, which mayor may not related, is that videos are often not working (eg Youtube, BBC), and various browser windows (eg when selecting Manage Bookmarks, or restarting in safe mode), open a small size-reduced window. Since a few days, Firefox started crashing each time I receive a notification.

For example, with this notifications test website: https://www.bennish.net/web-notifications.html

Each time I click on the "Show" button to display a notification, Firefox becomes completely unresponsive: the content of the window is completely frozen and I can't click on anything. I must close it and restart it to make it work again. When I restart it, a dialog displays:

> Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window.

In both applications, the notification is never shown: the freeze occurs before.

I tried the following changes but they did not stop the issue from occuring:

- Deactivating hardware acceleration - Troubleshooting mode - Deactivating firefox notifications in Windows - Deactivating `alerts.useSystemBackend` and `alerts.useSystemBackend.windows.notificationserver.enabled` in `about:config`

At the same time, I noticed that Thunderbird (v144.0.1, 64bits) started having the same issue. It haappens each time I receive a new message in the background and a notification should appear. Maybe this is related?

Since 2/11, I have eleven aboutg:crashes crash reports. Tab crashes (i.e Youtube), browser crashes. Sometimes when I have Firefox and Chrome open at the same time, for an extended length of time, (I reluctantly use Chrome when Firefox has a problem with a site) they both crash.

I've opened related threads here in the past with no help offered, so maybe I can get a suggestion where else to get help?

For many years, I have been exchanging video calls on Facebook.

Recent attempts to video call the same person I've been video calling for the past 3 years result in "your browser doesn't support video calls"

Have I been "hacked"?

At the moment all websites accessed through Firefox are all crashing after a few minutes and often a lot less. It is happenig constantly. It started before I updated Firefox today, but has continued after the update. Anyone know what's happening? I'm still on Windows 10 - will that be an issue?

This has started a few days ago. I'm running Firefox Desktop on Windows 11. Browsing is perfectly normal, until I try to watch a video in full screen mode. It plays normally for a few seconds and then my whole system freezes, with no response to any action except for hard reset. This has never happened to me before, and all other browsers I try do not demonstrate the same problem. Is there any solution other than changing browser permanently?

I've been using Firefox on Linux since it was Nautilus. Currently running EasyOS Linux Daedalus and Excalibur on different Lenovo ThinkCentre Tiny Core i3-8100t boxes and different drives: A good Samsung SSD and two good flashdrives. 32G new RAM installed on each box. I've been using these boxes for over a year. For the last month or so, ever since updating to v. 146 my tabs have been crashing like crazy! I don't normally have more than 10 tabs open at once. But now, as soon as I open a 5th tab it crashes.

I'm running Top to watch CPU and RAM usage. I see nothing unusual. I've rebooted. Disabled all add-ons and run in Troubleshoot mode. Tabs still crash. My only add-ons are uBlock Origin, Temporary Containers and Dark Mode. It happens whether I have hardware acceleration turned on or off. I don't know what else to try. Why is Firefox crashing so often? What changed? Is there something I need to do to prevent his? Once or twice a week or sometimes a day, but It seems to crash when I am just in my Gmail, sometimes 4 or 5 times an hour. Is Chrome a better option?

Over the past couple of days, Firefox has been crashing almost constantly, with my MacBook sometimes also crashing/restarting. Both Firebox and my MacBook are up to date. I've also used troubleshoot mode and turned off my extensions, which seemed to lower the number of crashes, but it still crashes often. It might not be a problem with Firefox itself and be my laptop though.

If there's a way to resolve this, I'd super appreciate it.

I have noticed that just recently videos across all different websites are not displaying properly. The image part of the video is a green scrambled mess. The audio is fine, but the images are wrong. I am not having this issue on a different browser, and I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do. I don't know if changing any of the settings will help or if there's a bug in one of the updates.

Hi, Windows 11, 32GB memory. Firefox crashes regularly when between 1.6 and 1.9 GB is consumed It happens when watching YouTube. What is the solution, please? Thank you.
