Crash submitted, ID = 320cc808-4505-4cba-6e0f-9f2c2955d007 Still happens in troubleshoot mode. Still happens with extensions disabled (Ublock origin, Proton Pass) Started happening since Dec. 5, 2025 System is current with all Debian?Ubuntu updates installed (daily refreshes) Linux Kernel 6.8 on Lenovo Yoga i7 (ca. 2022) with Intel i5 & Intel graphics

Is it a known issue that opening JIRA web pages immediately crashes and closes the Firefox browser on Windows 11. It never happened on Windows 10 however due to Windows 10 end of life we've been forced to upgrade at work. Now this crashes on a key webpage (we're software delevelopers). So we might have to change to Chrome which I really don't want to do. It would be great if you could find any or many crash reports I've filed and fix the issue.

Mozilla Firefox began to crash all the time; crashes happen almost every ten minutes, and it happens with every site. It still lasts about for several weeks. I tried to reinstall Firefox; I updated my drivers for my computer; I cleared cash and history in the settings; I tried to delete some files from Firefox's folder. All these things did not help. The crashes may happen with any site, and it can happen any time. I have no problem with memory shortage. Hi -- I'm getting quite a few page crashes that seem mostly tied to YouTube, although not exclusively. I only recently swapped over to Firefox from Chrome because I was having similar crashing issues with that browser as well. This is after a fresh install of Windows 11 Pro and a number of different benchmark tests (no known issues with CPU, GPU, or RAM).

First got a msg box from Firefox that my W10 PC had crashed overnite - and I could report it. My PC was back up & looked normal - but when I accessed Firefox the PC crashed - then I got the above error & blue screen and could do nothing on the PC! I got this new Chromebook, and now I'm having issues using YouTube. When I select a video to watch, a message pops up at the top saying "To play video, you may need to install the required video codecs." I am able to watch the video I selected anyhow, with some minor issues with the picture and its frames I believe, however, when I try to watch a different video, it does not work. Sometimes it will play for a short bit, but will then stop, and start buffering. When I then refresh the page, the video will not play and will only buffer. I am not sure what to do, and if this is an issue with the browser, or the device itself, please help?

Firefox has been running smoothly for the last 6 months. Recently I started receiving Firefox Crash Reporter dialog boxes when opening the app. The app never opens, but I receive three crash reporter dialog boxes.

What I have tried: Repair Reinstall Deleted every Mozilla folder in App cache and other device locations. Did another reinstall. App never loads and I receive a crash report. Updated Windows. Restarted laptop. Etc. Everything else on the device runs perfectly.

I'm on Fedora 41 + gnome, but this issue persisted even in Windows 11, which caused BSOD therefore I made the switch to linux (At least in linux it doesn't crash the whole system, only firefox). If you need any additional information let me know. I can run journalctl/dmesg if required.

I've already tried things like restarting in safe mode (troubleshoot mode), refreshing firefox etc. Didn't work.

I did a "dnf update" on my system yesterday which upgraded firefox from 137 to 138, however I don't think that is the issue because I downgraded back to 137 and removed the ~/.mozilla directory to create a new profile and I have the same issue. So this might be an issue with Fedora. When I started with a new profile after removing ~/.mozilla using either v137 or v138 when I get to the create a master password in settings firefox freezes and I have to kill it. Before downgrading and creating a new profile I first noticed the issue when I went to a site with a saved login and when I clicked on the password box to bring up the saved password firefox froze. Just accessing the password menu will cause it to freeze. Any help/pointers would be appreciated.

Since a few weeks I have been encountering an issue where tabs in Firefox would frequently crash. I do have various add-ons installed, however I haven't installed any new ones around the time the issue has been occurring. I've been unable to track down which add-on or if any add-on might be causing this.

Trying to search for this issue all I could come up with is that it might be an issue of a faulty CPU. I have an i9-13900KF which has been known to be part of the Intel generation with serious flaws. However I already installed a BIOS update and applied Intel's recommended settings to undervolt the CPU to prevent any issues. This was well before the Firefox tab crashing issue happened. So I'm not sure if it can really be the issue of a faulty CPU, but I've also had issues of other programs randomly crashing recently (like Discord or Steam).

The tab crash can occur on any website, for example Youtube, Duckduckgo, Protonmail, etc. The crash reason always is either "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ" or just "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION". The crash also most of the time (but not always) occurs when loading the page itself or a video / live stream on it. But not when browsing an already loaded page (for example this forum post page I'm writing right now).

Endless crashes, going on for months (4-5) and no sign of any fixes. As far as I'm concerned, Firefox is totally broken and I'll have to switch away. It's unusable. A crash every ten minutes.

My Firefox Browser keeps crashing at random times. I was using Chrome previously and it was worse than the Firefox performance. I just installed 128 GB of brand new DDR5 RAM which I tested in windows with no error. I have no malware on my computer currently. 'Some time ago I suddenly stopped being able to log into my Aetna health account on the Aetna web site. When I typed in my user ID and password I get the following message: "System temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." It's been like this since last March.

I just now tried logging in on my IPad and Microsoft Edge and had no problem logging with either one. This means that Firefox has to be causing the problem.
