i am unable to connect to state of california edd.ca .gov. once i am on the website and edd tries to send me an email it comes back with an error saying that they were unable to verify my email and to repeat the login process again

I want to make the bottom scroll bar specially to be appeared only on hover and not when scrolling or even make it 100% transparent? I really dont want the bottom scrollbar to interface

Since 117(Beta)I have an issue with Firefox refusing to apply the update it downloaded. I've tried searching left and right on the internet for a solution and one does work which is installing the newer version of the browser each time myself. But this is ofcourse not a solution in the long run.

It tries now to apply the update 118b9 to stable version 118 and it did downloaded just fine and asked me if I wanted to close the program to let it update which always worked. I've tried different DNS to see if that could be the problem, tried a clean default profile to see if that helped, I haven't tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, due to me losing my passwords and what not.

I also tried to run the stable version to see if the issue was still there and it is still there, so me using the beta channel isn't the issue here.

Since one of the last updates firefox Download Setting seems not work properly...

Into Settings > Files and Applications > Downlods > Save files to option is ALWAYS on, even when "Aways ask you where to save files" option box is checked. When I open a PDF in view mode with Firefox, it automatically download it to the location described into "Save Files to"..in my case Desktop. It seems that the "Save Files to" option doesn't gray out when "Always ask..." option box is checked.

Do you have any idea why I can't chose just one of the two options?

I don't get any security from the master password or primary password because I set it on my mozila browser but when I open mozila, the browser asks to enter the password if you cancel, also I can visit my Facebook and personal mail id. actually, I used two browsers for personal use, I prefer to use mozila only for my primary passport but now it's not worthy .

Many websites I use on a regular basis have become unusable on firefox which i have used for over a decade. I can't change my Flickr cover photo because the pop up window is too huge, can't view a complete google doc because the thing is enormous, etc. The issue is that I MUST have the ability to set text in firefox to larger and I do so via the view - zoom in and zoom text only options. I have to have this ability because I have a visual disability. I do not have this issue using chrome but I detest chrome and want to keep using firefox, but entire portions of windows are cut off when they open up and I can't access them by zooming out either. The only thing that changes is the text gets so small that it is totally unreadable. This is a HUGE problem for me. I will NOT change my default windows setting to try and fix a firefox issue because that then screws up my window sizes for games, programs etc for my other software that I also use daily. So I won't be changing what works for 20 programs via windows settings to make ONE browser work better. This is a firefox problem, and firefox needs to fix it. I have tried multiple solutions cited online and nothing is working. If firefox is trying to get rid of it's users with visual disabilities, this is the way to go. Here is an image link that shows the issue on flickr. The google search bar on the home page has increased in size and my extensions/add on such as cache cleaner and adblocker do not appear on the toolbar even though they are turned on. I tried refreshing Firefox but that did not solve the problems. Thank you

Everything is in the title. I've suceed changing the Firefox icon for another one in different places of the UI but there's still some places where I don't know how... Here's some screenshots in the downloaded images. Tell me if something is possible ;-)

( It all about the purple icon and some purple/pink design that I don't like that much, I miss the plain orange fox and blue earth era...)

I'm getting daily warning notifications from Mcafee about some virus. Don't even have Mcafee. When I go to Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Notifications, there is no Settings button to modify push notifications.

Some urls autofill in the address bar, and others don't (and I wish they would)

In the example images below you can see Quora does autofill, but Twitter and Facebook don't I'm pretty sure they all used to so perhaps it's something I have done

Greetings: I'm getting an Intellius notification and advert pop-up that won't stop even after I touched "disable notifications from Intellius" on the notification. It began after going to Intellius website briefly the other day. I've clicked disable Intellius notifications several times to no avail. Thank you for any feedback.

Youtube and Twitch both have a delayed response to un-muting. After turning on the audio, it takes about 4-5 seconds to hear any audio. Youtube has long load delays each time rewinding or pausing. I tried on chrome and I didn't get these issues. I also already cleared cache and history.

The date is 2023/08/22 and I am on Windows 10, using Firefox 116.0.2 (64-bit).

I am observing a specific behavior where by certain files, often files which Firefox is well equipped to render, such as Plain Text files, jpegs, and other image formats, are being force-downloaded when clicked on, or when their link is pasted into a new tab. The proof that Firefox is able to display these files is ascertained by way of setting Windows file associations to Firefox itself, and turning off automatic downloads within Firefox, which presents the user with an Open or Save dialog. However, selecting Open does indeed obey the Windows prerogative declared in the file association index, however, the file was still downloaded as an entirely superfluous action, and and then opened by Firefox, from the default "download" directory. This behavior can be repeated in some instances even with images, when right clicking on the image, and selecting "open in new tab", where by the image will be downloaded by that new tab instead of being rendered.

What is the proper methodology to navigate the problem space of this unwanted behavior? The success condition would be Firefox not downloading the file at all and opening it like it is able to do in other instances.

PS: I realize all content is actually downloaded anyway, otherwise it wouldn't be possible to render it. However, this is done in the defined cache folder. I would like this behavior to extend to all files. Excluding, of course, executable binaries, as I understand that design decision is made for security reasons and to allow malware scanners to function properly.

I have Firefox installed on two PCs. I see the option to add "Recommended by Pocket" under Settings/Home, but on the other one I don't. Screen shots of both are attached. I have completely uninstalled, cleaned up all Firefox files and re-installed Firefox multiple times on the PC where I don't see the Pocket option but nothing changes. Also gone into about:config and tried making changes from there. I want the Pocket recommendations to show on the Firefox Home page for both PCs.
