Hi, Firstly I apologize because I'm not very tech savvy. My firefox browser has been taking ages to load. I've tried various 'fixes' over the last week or so and they don't work for long. I'm going down the 'try this' list and am at the 'clear junk in manage data' suggestion. Someone else had success with getting rid of a load of youtube saved junk. I'm in the Cookie and Site Data area, it says it's using 793mb of disc space yet when I tap on 'manage data' to try and clear stuff that area shows up as empty. I've searched but can't locate how to fix this issue. Or I might be missing something completely obvious. :/

My memory, and health, is not great so if possible I really don't want to resort to clearing everything and having to re-add log ins etc.

Does anyone know how to fix this please?

Installed FF yesterday to give it a try. Today I was on a trusted page when the download window popped up showing me what you see below. I was on a trusted website and there was nothing clicked to download and this wasn't expected. It's an executable file claiming to be from Zoom.com. I wasn't on their website either.

Is the legitimate, something that FF wanted to add to use Zoom from within the browser?

I spoke to BT who proved that Firefox and not Edge was the problem and there is a need to know how to remove entries which appear under the Firefox through either Autofill or Autosave or finally Autopopulate. This need arises from a problem which has arisen under username entry and which cannot be permanently removed.

I need some advice on how to resolve this problem!

Hi I have been using firefox on linux for a while without updating it. We are artsellers and I used to be able to log in and out of an artplatform without any problems. It's now been a few weeks since logging out is not possible any more on this platform which means that I am constantly logged in which I really do not want. The menu does not work anymore on this side whereas it works with other browers. I already contacted the platform. They cannot do anything about it themselves and asked me to contact your team. Having tried all pointers to how to display this data, I give up and present my case here: In a banking app, the login field is blank and requires me to enter the correct Login ID. This works fine. However, if I double click on that field, an option is displayed, happening to be my email address, which will not work in this case; a numeric value is required.

So, knowing a prompt is enabled, I have entirely failed to get 'it' to save the correct ID. I have also find a place in Firefox settings where I can see and modify the value that comes up. I do however remember doing exactly that for some other site.

So, as I have said, I cannot find this in the Passwords nor the Settings pages. What am I missing?

Help would be much appreciated.

I have included a website on the list of exceptions for deleting cookies when Firefox is closed. When I go to the website the icons on Firefox for it show "enhanced tracking protection off" and "You have granted this website additional permissions". This website uses cookies to recognize my computer and not to require a one time password. However, when I close Firefox despite the fact that the website is on the exception list, cookies are deleted and I have to keep re-entering the one time password. I did turn of the checkbox for deleting cookies when Firefox is closed and now I am no longer asked to enter the OTP after Firefox is closed.

I assume this is a bug. Does anyone else experience similar issues? Is anything I can do about it and be able to use the exception list as intended?

If I delete my history of the websites I go on is there a way to either restore it or store it some place else in case I want to see it at a future time? Can I also do it If I delete my emails and I would like to see certain emails, again in the future? I use mostly Yahoo and Gmail? I'm using Windows 10.

Hi all, I am currently getting a warning message as shown, this website is one only accessible from the local network here and so this error message can be ignored. However i was wondering if there is a way for me to disable the warning message as if clicked on will take us out of this window and we want to stay in this window.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I work for the Center for Internet Security (CIS) and my team develops the CIS Benchmarks for securely configuring a wide variety of technologies. Specifically, we make a Firefox Benchmark with recommendation on how to more securely configure Firefox. We would like to get some "Firefox People" involved in helping us update this Benchmark. Some months ago, I unfortunately typed a password in the username field of a local page (access to my Internet box, oh Noes).

Since then, it appears each time I remove the access data in the Firefox settings. When entering data again for a login without password enquiry, the password becomes invisible again, and vice-versa.

It is impossible to show the phenomenon using a screenshot, as the password immediately disappears.

Hello support staff. Here are the specifics ...

1. I installed undelete software from easeus.com 2. Uninstalled the above software 3. In Win10 Task manager under the Performance--Resource Monitor--Network option, saw firefox had a session opened with easeus.com

4. Windows defender shows nothing abnormal. 5. Removed all entries for easeus in registry. 6. Unistalled firefox and reinstalled it. 7. Start firefox and go to some site. 8. Firefox again has a open session with easeus.com in the Task manager.

9. Installed Chrome. No such session with easeus.com on Chrome under Task manager.

10. Issue at 3. pops up whenever I start firefox AND start browsing a site.

I have been dealing with https://www.mynylottery.org/portal/ for weeks trying to get their software to recognize my location, required to place subscriptions on their site. I have switched off every safety and restriction in settings to open the computer to their search for my location. I finally got them on the phone and they told me that for a reason they don't understand, Firefox is the only browser that is currently giving them problems. It refuses to allow them to pinpoint location of the connecting computer either via wi-fi or ethernet connection. Please provide some guidance and if necessary, contact the NYS lottery to solve the problem.

Hi, I have a lot (+1600) password stored in my profile and i would like to clean its and delete olds ones. So i look for an utility or an extension to mark only those i want to delete (or keep).

Can i make an export to csv file, open it with excel (or something else) delete these unused, save the new csv, delete all password in firefox, and import the new csv ? Have i to make an new synchronisation in all my pc,tabs,phones after deconnexion on its? Many thanks for help JP from France
