Since the days of Go Corp.'s PenPoint and Windows for Pen Computing, I have been accustomed to select text by just dragging the stylus --- that no longer works --- for some reason the stylus has now been dumbed down to be an 11th touch input which scrolls.

Why?

How can I get back the far more expressive behavour of drag-select text with a stylus and using touch when I wish to scroll?

As an FYI, I handed a stylus and my Samsung Galaxy Book 12 (running Windows Build 1703 which predates this change) to a technician at the local Best Buy and they had no problem selecting text --- when I challenged them to select text on a Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 running Windows 11 using the stylus they were unable to to.

Could we please have an option to restore the traditional behaviour?

isn't directly available in Windows 11, and the equivalent setting:

Settings | Bluetooth & Devices | Pen & Windows Ink | Additional Pen Settings | Let me use my pen as a mouse when it's available

doesn't seem to work when it is enabled.

Since past few years, I use Firefox for the peace of mind... But never get that.

Every now and then many sites are not supported properly.... And it severely gives now headache....

Thinking to switch to New Web Browser....

Problematic Sites are tons of tons... Here are a few...

1. pCloud 2. Mega 3. Digiboxx 4. OrgPad 5. PhotoADKing 6. Animaker 7. Powtoon 8. SBI ....etc.

Please somebody help reach this message to original developers and not community... I'm fed up of this.

Many developers also fed up of Mozilla... and stay away from updating add-ons or extensions... I literally felt helpless many times...

when I right click on the Firefox desk top icon and slide down to property, for example, The resulting display is so small it is unreadable....can you help me with thi problem?...thanks Jerry.

Firefox 111.0.1 (64-bit) on MacBook M1 Pro running Ventura 13.2.1

Cannot enter URL in the address book. When I hit return nothing happens. This happens even with no extensions installed, however, it works in a private window.

I have having alot of trouble. I am unable to get Netflix to work in Normal mode of firefox. It will work in trouble shoot but not in reg mode. The page will not load all the way and than it locks up . I have done every suggestion that i have found and yet it still will not load and work. I have been trying to fix this problem for a week now. I have uninstalled and re installed 3 times now. and yet it still will not work. I have now gone to Edge to watch Netflix.

In about:config, I see two settings for controlling the minimum amount of time for DNS cache expiration: network.dnsCacheExpiration and network.dnsCacheExpirationGracePeriod. What is the difference between them? They are both set to 60 seconds by default.

I routinely receive images from one sender that has a banner that renders two to three times the screen width no matter the screen size.

This issue doesn't occur on the Gmail Mobile app only while viewing Gmail on Firefox (The issue is not resident in Chrome).

When I click on the Window tab in the Firefox menu, my website prayingwithmylegs[dot]com is only listed as "Mozilla Firefox" unlike all the other windows. This does not happen in Chrome, Safari or Opera.

Also, how do I get the Sidebar to not automatically open when I open my saved windows in Firefox? It wasn't doing that before.

WTF?! You guys do not even have a technical support category?!?!??!

The latest update has broken ebay.com.au. It works fine in private mode. It WILL NOT WORK in troubleshooting mode. Works fine in other browsers on the same Windows 10 PC. Ive also tried disabling addons and extensions, and even Pocket, as well as browsing protection (the shield icon). It just sits there saying "transferring data from ".... the next bit varies, but usually says ebay.com.au, or sometimes a different page, but it NEVER COMPLETES.

I get that it might have trouble with unusual code, but WTF is with firefox not working with EBAY?!

Hi. When I play YouTube videos, the videos always misses the first few seconds ( about 3). I had this problem from 6 months ago.

It looks like someone has cropped all the videos. I have reloaded the video and place the video cursor at very beginning without results..

Recenltly bought new laptop and installed a new version of firefox, but now I cannot get it to show my extensions.

The screen shot shows what (IMO) is supposed to to be, but all I get is the default buttons for firefox 2nd picture

I recently noticed in Firefox Settings the statement --- "Your browser is being managed by Your organization".

When I clicked on that statement and printed off the information, that information was apparently about "Enterprise Policies", the management is "Active", the Policy Name is "certificates", the Policy Value is "ImportEnterpriseRoots", and then it is "true". I do not understand the message that is being shared here. Does Firefox understand it? If Firefox does understand it, would you mind sharing your understanding with me?

What is "ImportEnterpriseRoots"? What is its function? Concerning the statement, "Your browser is being managed by Your organization", what is meant by the words, "Your organization" and what is meant by the word, "managed".

To rid myself of "ImportEnterpriseRoots", will I need to rid myself of Firefox?

Search on Sainsburys website returns wrong products. All other websites work OK. Search using Chrome works OK. Sainsburys said they would fix but have not. Any ideas?

On the landing page for youtube, I used to be able to right mouse click on a video thumbnail and select "open image in a new tab" from the context menu and see the thumbnail in a new tab window.

After recent updates, (now using 111.0.1 64bit , on windows 10 pro), this feature no longer exists. It's not a change on youtube because the thumbnail is still recognized as an image and can be opened in a new tab when I use Edge browser. It seems like Firefox no longer recognizes the thumbnail as an image.

Is there any setting I can change to get the feature of "open image in new tab" back into the context menu. or somehow get Firefox to recognize the thumbnail as an image ?
