In Denmark we have a common Authorization system, called MitID. It has worked fine in Firefox until the last update. But no longer. MitID works fine in Safari, Edge and Chrome. But no longer in Firefox.

Since MitID is use for banking and financial services, libraries and all communication with any public service, it is crucial for any Danish user.

So unless you will say goodbye to all Danish users - including mee (after many years), you had better correct your bug.

Cannot logon danish e-boks.dk from Firefox with MitID authentication used for banking and communication with the authorities. Using using Firefox on Windows 10. MitID says it is a recent Firefox update causing the problem. Use another browser, they say. Mobile phone Samsung/Android browser has a similar problem. So maybe the problems are also in MitID updates and MitID tests have only been carried out on Google Chrome and MS Edge :(

Using MitID for eBoks results in an error. Using MitID for the bank goes fine.

FF 109.0.1 does NOT have that problem!

This problem is, most likely, seen in Denmark only, as MitID is a Danish security access.

Lately when i login with the danish MitID on firefox I get an error and it will not go throgh. I have had to use Crome and it works without problems. I have no idea what causes it and I cannot tell what has changed to make it. Firefox an IOS is updated so it seems not to be the operation system.

How do I get Firefox to work with MitID again? Regards Christian Castenskiold

Since the last update of FF i have not been able to log into the Danish digital ID services MitID.

It worked with the previous version of FF It works now with Chrome and Edge I have cleared cash and cookies it did not solve the problem.

We use Mozilla at my work and are happy with it. In Denmark, both private individuals and companies have a security key called MIT ID ( My Id ) So we can log in to all public adminsrative sites. It is very important. After your last update it doesn't work. I am getting an error, and have spoken to Support and they say it is an error in your update. It has now been a week and the error has not been made. Which forces us to use a different browser, which I'd rather not. The Site with the error is https://nemlog-in.mitid.dk/login.aspx/mitid

Dear Firefox Your browser is generally excelent. But you MUST immediately fix your problem with the danish Mitid access. Every dane uses Mitid acessing banks, public websites, healtcare etc etc.

Firefox browser kan pludselig ikke bruges til MitID - MitID siger at det er en teknisk fejl hos Firefox - og jeg skulle kontakte jer og spørge hvornår i får det lavet ? Jeg ønsker ikke at bruge hverken Chrome eller Egde da jeg er super tilfreds med Firefox.

As support, we can only recommend that you try to use a different browser. If you don't want this, you have to wait for Firefox to fix the error.

The Firefox browser suddenly cannot be used for MitID - MitID says that it is a technical error with Firefox - and I should contact you and ask when you will have it fixed? I don't want to use either Chrome or Egde as I am super happy with Firefox.

When will it be fixed ?

Hej This is written in Danish, as probably only Danes can relate to the problem.

Med FF kan jeg ikke længere gå på eBoks. Den returnere med "Ukendt fejl" efter password.

Med (gys) Edge kommer jeg ind.

Banken fungerer fint, så dedt er ikke MitID som sådan. Jeg anvender FF 110.0, 32 bit.

Og det hjælper ikke at rydde cache.

Er der en lille bug i den nye version af FF?

I dont know how to explain so good in English, but at the update, I have many problem. We here in Denmark use something call mitid, this dont work. And when I want start side (google) stay white, it start up dark. I know how to do, but now I cant any more, there are other side, I have problem like that too.. I will be sad if I have to start use other, as Firefox. Will to problems get fixst or ??
