For the past few days when trying to use Google search on Firefox I get this message:

"Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot. Why did this happen?"

Then it makes me jump through several hoops to do a search on google.

This is a Firefox specific message as I can switch to Safari and there is no roadblock.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Any way to resolve?

Why this is a Firefox issue and not other browsers?

All of my bookmarks, passwords, settings, etc just disappeared from my Mozilla account. Everything for my job is gone. I was just working and suddenly got notifications that im a new user and to make Firefox my default (already was). Now everything is gone from before. Did you just roll out an update? It destroyed my account. Now it says my account is missing and wont even let me open it on a 2nd try while im writing this....so its just getting worse.

i find it amazing that firefox does not recognize that my bell email is legitimate... for a while i blamed MY computer as it is older not so... it comes down to the fact firefox is constantly showing problem loading page... for years i have been receiving ekos surveys again there it is problem loading page thus this morning when it stated problem loading page i overrode it & opened the survey page & completed the survey my first in months... it comes down to firefox... when i am comfortable i accept when not comfortable i ignore & move on...

This is a new install of debian 13 trixie. I have a subscription to mozillavpn. It was working on a previous install of debian. I use synaptic to install flatpak. I use flatpak to install warehouse. I use warehouse to install mozillavpn. Once installed I highlight the package mozilla vpn in warehouse then click open. A mozillavpn icon appears in the taskbar. Also a window that is shaped like a cell phone open up. This window has a button to "sign up", also it has a link to "already a subscriber?". I click the "already a subscriber" link. It changes to a page that says "waiting for sign in and subscription confirmation..." with a rotating circle and a button to cancel. It also opens a separate browser to a start page. I wait awhile but nothing happens. I change the browser page to my mozilla account page at "https://accounts.firefox.com/settings" Nothing happens. There's a button on the account page to "connect a device" but I don't know what to do with it. Under the heading "Everything you are using and signed into." it has 2 entries: "Firefox 153, Linux" and "Mozilla Support". Both entries have a "sign out" button. Back at the mozilla vpn cell phone shaped window the spinner just spins and nothing else. So I'm stuck. I click cancel and it goes back to the "sign up' / "already a subscriber?" page. From the icon in the taskbar I click quit and both the window and the icon go away. Everything seems to working but I am not registering as a subscriber. I've tried this several times over the course of 2 days. It's always the same.

Hi, I have the latest version of Firefox and I'm logged into my Mozilla profile. I selected the USA (for example)—even though I'm in Belgium—but when I log into a dating site (one that's allowed in the USA), it still shows my location as Belgium. It's the same story for France. However, when I type "where am I located?" into a new browser window, it tells me I'm in the USA... So I don't understand... I hope someone can help me :-)

Despite re-installing Firefox sidebar is still missing (I spent 3 full days trying to fix it before re-installing). I also can't obtain another tab - I'm restricted just to the one page I'm currently using

I was on www.rt.com yesterday. Today, Firefox tells me I can't get on due to an expired certificate and won't let me bypass this warning. I don't believe this is a problem; I trust rt and I want to be able to bypass what I believe is overly sensitive security by Firefox. Without that, it amounts to censorship and I'm disappointed in Firefox.

the download manager is not working as it used to. Firefox used to remember the last downloaded item (pdf, word docx, etc, and bring me to the last folder again. it no longer does that. It's very inconvenient and I hope you fix it soon.

Firefox versiosn 156 won't allow tv.youtube.com to work....same as previous versions.

Macbook Air....shows Firefox log and "server can't be found."

Works o.k on Safari, however.

Ich wollte die Beihilfestelle beim Landesamt für Finanzen aufrufen. Das ist leider nicht möglich. Könnte es sein, dass es einen Zusammenhang gibt damit , dass ich vor ein paar Tagen ein Antivirusprogramm von Avast heruntergeladen habe, nachdem ich seit Monaten dazu von Avast genötigt wurde, da mein Laptop angeblich schwere Probleme aufweisen würde. Beim Online-Banking hatte ich vor Wochen ein ähnliches Problem (das war allerdings noch vor dem Herunterladen dieses Antivirusprogramms), dass meine Zahlungen nicht verifiziert werden konnten. Nach Kontaktaufnahme mit dem Service der Bank sagte man mir, dass ich einen anderen Browser benutzen solle, da Firefox angeblich Sicherheitslücken aufweisen würde.

Ich öffne ein PDF File in Firefox. Er wird in Firefox angezeigt und sofort öffnet sich die Datei zusätzlich Adobe Acrobat. Das soll es nicht. Ich habe geändert: - in firefox im Menu download: PDF öffnen: Firefox - in Windows 11 Standard APP für PDF: Firefox - in Windows 11 Standard Browser: Firefox

Ich weiss nicht, wo ich jetzt noch die Einstellungen ändern kann, damit sich eine PDF Datei nur in Firefox öffnet und nicht automatisch nochmal Acrobat.
