what mode should my browser use for a site that has all the proper permissions for cam and mic but cam still wont load. I fooled around w/settings and once got it to come up ;' on but now i dont remember what i changed if i even did.. only thing i know is it said somewhere in a tip is make sure you set your page for some mode but all i see is quirks mode and i bet it shoud be in some other mode or maybe im wrong, Im lost please help' the site is fttps:www.silverdaddies.com/ now it used to work when chrome would not it would leave open cam windows stuck at the top of the screen dissabeling the move or close buttons which is relally a pain.

Easy Youtube video downloader I have it as an extension but the extension is not displayed next to address bar so I have not been able to download anything I need the icon to show up b4 I can click download Tried hard to get the extension to work

I just need a way to rearrange tool bars, and in particular, move the address bar to the bottom.

Have changed about:config to set the print.tab_modal.enabled to false but it still uses the (extremely painful) Firefox Print Dialog What else do I need to change?

I use firefox for reading pdfs a lot, and i would really like to use page up and page down for their proper functions when doing so rather than having to scroll. the issue is these keys dont move a full page height, they are slightly too small. thus the pages quickly become misaligned requiring scrolling to rectify. a very minor but very annoying problem that i assume has a simple fix but i cant figure it out. help with this would be greatly appreciated!

I am unable to search through tags in firefox address bar as explained here in this documentation https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/address-bar-autocomplete-firefox

with that said, the problem is only with "+ tagname" not working, as I am able to filter through bookmarks using "* bookmark" and history and tabs. However, for tag search with "+", firefox doesn't work.

Same issue as [this poster] . I've seen no correlation between pixelsPerPx and cursor size, but have noticed this behavior doesn't occur in Manjaro's version of FireFox, so I started asking myself, Self, "what might the differences be here?" Answer I got back: they (Ubuntu 22.04) have bowed to the god of SNAPpiness, and Manjaro still hasn't (gets updates from Mozilla rather than the snap store).

Am I on to something here? What else could be the difference between the two flavors of Linux? Any help would be greatly appreciated, my tired eyes have forced me to change default browser to Chrome or Edge, both of which don't seem to respect my privacy like Firefox. Interesting to note that Thunderbird doesn't have the "flea-size cursor" and it also is not using snap for updates.

How can I set my location in Firefox. I know better than anyone on the web where I am located, and Firefox is locating me hundreds of miles away, so I just want to set the Zip code for my actual location. Thanks for any advice! -Harry

Is there a way to enable certain extensions such as BlockSite when at work (9-5, lets say)? Or for example -- more specific to my usecase right now -- the Unhook extension should be disabled after work and during weekends? Basically setting extension on/off times based on time of the day -- like iOS allows to set focus modes and then "allowed apps" during these modes.

Hello, I've used AddBlock successfully for years but now , to my utter dismay, It has stopped functioning. I tried unsuccessfully to reset Firefox . Have just gone through the latest StartPage privacy protocol added to Firefox, but I am still beset with beastly adds. Hope you can help, Cordially, Joy

Get rid of MSN and restore Firefox as my preferred browser Microsoft has taken over somehow, and I can't get rid of them or get my computers settings back to the way they were!

Hi! There are multiple recent threads on this issue, and not one of them has a solution, so I'm asking again. I want to increase the font size of the top header text, specifically the bookmarks toolbar, search bar, and tab titles. The text is too small for me to read. It would also be useful if I could increase the font size for the applications menu (the hamburger drop down menu in the far right of the header).

I do not want to increase the size of anything else, so changing layout.css.devPixelsPerPx is not the solution. I have changed my global zoom settings, and set them specifically to "Zoom text only", but this setting does not effect the bookmarks toolbar or the search bar. Changing the default font size also does not increase the size of this text.
