I am used to having a Firefox for my personal Mozilla account, bookmarks and sessions, and Firefox Developer Edition to be logged in my work account, where I could use everything I need to work in a separate environment.

Recently I changed a job. Logged out past-job@mail.com from Firefox Developer Edition, logged in with present-job@mail.com and... I still can see old bookmarks.

- I cleared history and new bookmarks: nothing
- went to about:preferences#privacy and clear all the data: bookmarks still there
- tried Help > More troubleshooting information > Refresh Firefox…: all the same
- reinstalled firefox@developer-edition with brew: nah
- eventually, logged out from presetn-job@mail.com in Firefox Developer Edition and personal@mail.com in Firefox; uninstalled both, deleted everything related to "mozilla" and "firefox" was able to find in my system: unsuccessfully

The last thing I didn't try yet is burning my laptop in favor to a new one.

Where are those bookmarks? Why nothing is helping?

I downloaded firefox desktop for my imac 27" none of the passwords I had on file would work so I changed the password and tried it. It appeared to work but after a while the incorrect password came up again. I continued to try using the code you sent via email several times and even though it appeared to. accept the password it still rejects your code. I have tried both caps and lower case characters but it still rejects the login

All of my bookmarks have been disappeared with a new automatic update (9/22) and now I'm left with no bookmarks at all. My other devices were not synced because my work computer needed different links saved. Any easy options for recovery? The bookmark management tool shows no options to import bookmarks and clicking any of the restore or import options does literally nothing. This is a huge issue for work flow and is putting me out of schedule. Why would an update remove ALL bookmarks? Seems like a serious over look in function.

Recently, Firefox has been becoming unresponsive quite often, and the Activity Monitor shows significantly high memory usage. For context, I typically have two Firefox windows running simultaneously, with approximately 5 tabs open in each window (10 tabs total). This is when I notice the performance degradation and high memory usage.

• A screenshot of the extensions currently enabled in Firefox.

I am open to suggestions, such as disabling or removing certain extensions if they might be causing conflicts. However, I wanted to report this issue first to understand if this is a known problem or if there are optimizations planned for Firefox on Apple Silicon Macs.

We have two computers in our house -- one connection. From my computer I sent something to my daughter, the second computer in our house. For some reason, my whole Facebook account transferred to her computer ad she is unable to use her own Facebook account. We have no idea how this happened. Can anyone help? Thank you . .

How can I block Google and other sites from knowing everything I do on Foxfire? Every time I visit anything that has membership Google is there asking to sign me in. I thought Foxfire was supposed to be somewhat private. Thanks!, Mark

I am running macos 15.7.2.

Bought a faster external drive *named EXT3* and I copied my Firefox Profiles from EXT2 *previous External* to EXT3

I have added the location for the profile in /Users/username/Library/Application Support/Firefox/profiles.ini

So far so good, but when EXT2 is NOT mounted the profile won't start, but only when EXT2 is MOUNTED then the profile will start.

Also connectivity is broken then, with that I mean I can't open any sites, not even a local one.

When I look in About:profiles I see that the profile in EXT3 is active and in use.

Any idea what is going on?

I get an error message when trying to login to the Social Security website with Firefox. Works with Chrome. The problem just started. Here is the error message.

I used to be able to ask a question on Firefox and get an answer. Now when I ask for information all I get is advertisements pertaining to the question I am asking.

Whenever I am shopping online on my Macbook (MacOS Sierra 15.7.2) Firefox will begin to freeze and then hang on the checkout page. I notice this happens most often with Shop/Shopify websites. Can someone help? This behavior seemed to begin this year about 6 months ago. I end up having to go Safari and reload my page, find the items again, and then I can check out. So problem is something about Firefox and my machine.

Website: https://www.londonpicturearchive.org.uk/view-item?i=119810&WINID=1764158938344 (for example) On Safari I see there is a message overlay from the website saying "press the command key to zoom the image". On Firefox, this message is not displayed, and the website is greyed out.

I have looked at all my settings: I can't see anything wrong. Any ideas?
