Today Firefox on my laptop will not open. There is a message (?from Google?) saying it is because cookies are switched off. I have not knowingly made any changes to cookie settings or installed any new features. A new Windows update installed recently (I am on Windows 11) and also a new version of Edge (although I never use Edge myself). The Google guidanc eon how to fix the situation only deals with Chrome. So how, please, can I get Firefox working again?

I closed a PDF file but can not move it to another folder. Windows says it is open in firefox. I closed firefox and it still says it is open in firefox. I even restarted windows and it still says it is open in firefox. How do I get firefox to close and release the file?

Running desktop windows 10 with Firefox, google maps opens but not not working correctly. The problem is only with Firefox. I have deleted the cashe, verified no extensions present, reinstalled windows and following all initial recommendations - google maps does not work with Firefox. Suggestions?

Cannot open AOL Mail or Facebook at times after sleeping my PC. If I revert to my Laptop or using MS Edge on my PC all is fine. I have reinstalled Firefox, but problem persists from time to time.

I have FireFox set up to reset every time I start a new session which causes DuckDuckGo's AI search to reset every time. Does anyone know how I can set it so it doesn't do that? It's annoying always having to disable to every time I open a new session.

I want to change the email associated with my account. However I can't add a secondary email and then make it the primary, as is suggested in all search results, because the primary email has been defunct for years. (I have had no reason to enter the account since that time.) Therefore I cannot receive the code to allow me to add the email. How can I proceed? Thanks in advance. When using image searches I don't want results from generative ai websites I have looked for a Firefox add on to flitter them out but if it exists I can't find it. Does anyone know of one?
